Very nice crevice hotel

All of restaurants food and service were excellent. The room was always clean, staff service was friendly. We definitely will be back!

We enjoyed our stay and barely wanted to leave the resort. The restaurants were great, the pools were too, our room was fantastic but what was most impressive was the staff. They made us feel like very special guest....it was hard to leave Cabo!

Perfect Family Vacation

Les + : The Staff and Service is first class all the way.
Les - : The Time Share guy we had needs to be fired. If one of my employees treated a guest like the way we were I would have to let the guy go.
Situation : Deep Sea Fishing, Glass Bottom Boat Rides, and a World Class Golf Course.
We stayed at the Grand Fiesta Americana during the first week of June 2015. It was by far the best Vacation that my family has ever had. The Resort was beautiful and the Staff was the best that we have ever encountered. From the time that we checked in until the time we checked out we felt as if we were the most important guests that the Resort had. All of the Staff always smiled, were helpful, and bent over backwards to keep us happy. Our poolside Concierge Edwin even brought my daughter a cake on her birthday and had the entire Staff sing to her. That is above and beyond anything that we could have ever expected. Usually an All Inclusive does not have the best food, however we all thought that the food was exceptional. My only complaint came from the gentleman who we met with in regards to them wanting us to buy a timeshare. He was friendly enough until we told him that we would need to think about that big of an investment, and then he insulted us. It has happened before, but it still upset us a little bit. All in all, we had a great time and cannot wait to go back in February.

Awesome Stay!

Lovely! Staff is super friendly and accommodating- I don't think they will say 'no' to anything- everything we needed and everything we asked for was delivered. While this vacation was just my husband and I- this was a very kid friendly resort. Sure if you really want to get away from the kids- you could post up at the adults only pool (which was kind of small) but really- in my opinion- there were a lot of kids- having a lot of fun. Only problem with this- is that it made us both miss our own kids. Next time we will choose an adults only resort for an adult only vacation. Not knocking the resort for this- just want to give others that are considering this resort a heads up. I would definitely come back here with the whole family in tow! Food was excellent! We had a 1 bedroom suite- which was very nice. Spa was amazing! Overall a great trip!

Great facility, HORRIBLE customer service!

My fiancé and I just returned from our stay at this resort. I must say, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms were very nice. But that is where the good review ends. Now, to the bad parts: The customer service at this resort leaves A LOT to be desired. I have been to many resorts and this place, by far, was the worst. One example: while relaxing on the beach, there is a waitress who comes by to get our drink orders. When I placed my order, she took a very long time to return. Upon her return, the couple next to us asked to place their order. Her response was, "the bar is far away. This is my last time coming out here. What do you want?" We were absolutely flabbergasted. There were other times that the staff fell short, but that was the worst of it. Overall, I would rate my stay at Fiesta Americana a 3 on a scale of 1-5. I don't plan on ever returning.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views everywhere.

Les + : The staff. Resort cleanliness. Quick service. The environment. The ambiance. I was able to truly escape thoughts of work and my everyday life.
Les - : The food in the restaurants. Wasn't as good as room service, for whatever reason. Also, the beach. There wasn't enough of it & sand was hard.
Situation : The hotel is a ways from town (closer to the airport than downtown Cabo). It seemed like a resort for older folks (older meaning in their 50's & 60's
My stay at the Fiesta Americana Grand was nothing shy of amazing! All the workers/employees went out of their way every day for my son and I. Room service was impeccable, although when you order plan to wait about 45 minutes because they're making it fresh. When the food is delivered they review what is there with what you ordered to make certain nothing was missed. It was impeccable! And the fire pit each evening, with live music, I can't even say enough good about that. My Cabo 2015 trip was INCREDIBLE!

Les - : The dinner menus need to be improved as well as the preparation of the entrees.
Situation : It is ten minutes from Cabo San Lucas and probably 20 minutes from San Jose Cabo so their is basically anything you may want access to very close by.
Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and amenities. The food was very average and rather inconsistent. Breakfast and lunch were pretty good overall . Dinner was very inconsistent . They had trouble fixing steaks to the desired cook request, the fish was over cooked on multiple occasions and the sides at dinner were not very good. Despite that we really enjoyed the facility and you can't find a place with a more beautiful view. We would definitely go back again.

Not what expected

Les + : some waiters tried hard to make your stay resemble the real all inclusive vacation.
Les - : Find a better location and build a new hotel. Also hire a new management team.
Situation : Unswimmable beach.
If this is your first all inclusive stay in Mexico you may think the resort is ok but for a seasoned vacationer I can say with the most certainty that I would avoid this resort at all cost. The staff was friendly but that was about it. The beach is too rocky. You cant swim despite the temptation of warm waters. The life guards start chasing you off the beach as soon as you dip your toes in the water. Too dangerous they say and they are correct so no beach. The restaurant food is mediocre at best. The buffet was too small and too crowded and you have to chase the waiters to get a cup of coffee. Yes no coffee pots on every table as it is done at every other resort I stayed in. There is not enough spots at the pools to accommodate the amount of rooms the resort has so get ready to get up at 7am to reserve a spot or two. Did I mention no air conditioning in the restaurants or elevators. No slides in the kids pool. The grill at the pool requires you to order and wait whereas in other resorts the food at the grill is usually continually cooked and is available to you at any time. They put a band on your hand to indicate the all inclusive option and you have to wear it the whole time. You cant even take it off at night. Lame. It made us feel prisoners and not guests.I mean you are on vacation and want to notice only the positive side of things but we were overwhelmed with the shortcomings and after a few days even the kids wanted to go home. sorry 3 stars at best.

Beautiful Grand Fiesta Americana

Les + : The facilities overall were very nice and clean. Attention to detail is paid throughout the grounds, pools, and beach maintenance.
Les - : Only issue experienced was the lack of staffing at restaurants. It appeared staffing was split amongst multiple restaurants AT THE SAME TIME. Waiting.
Situation : Downtown Cabo (Marina) - 8km/5 miles away. If you love house/party music and/or live DJ music on weekends visit "Coach" right down from El Squid Rowe.
Things to love: - BEAUTIFUL property overlooking the sea (stunning) - Grounds, pools, and beach areas were well maintained - Pool-side lounge chairs have limited areas (although many) - Quite a large hotel (many rooms) and beautiful layout (exceptional!) - Natural life (iguanas seen around natural rocks) - Pools staffing will move lounge chairs if requested and appear very helpful Lack: - Seafood options...very few but available - More staffing needed at restaurants (long waits before attention given to guest) - wider variety for foods at the restaurants are needed (while okay but it lack in some areas - mainly seafood)

Nice hotel but disappointed with service and room

Our shower was clogged and I didn't realize it until the entire bathroom flooded but instead of giving us a different room, maintenance came and said he fixed it but it happened again. Most staff were friendly but there were a couple of bartenders who were rude talking to each other and laughing after I made an order.
