Perfect as a stop on our way
We chose this hotel, trusting the brand. Fair service for the price. With our 2 children, the room was clean and quiet. We spent quite a good night. The pool is in fact a spa. The breakfast is a regular one, not more, not less. The staff was very good, no problem at all, the check in & out have been fast. We enjoyed our stay, as a stop on our going from LA to the coast. Urban surrounding, which seems secure.

Très propres, chambre assez grande, personnel très gentil à 20 minute de Hollywood...*sans traffic*. Seul bémol, le wifi pourri où nous étions. J'avais un fil réseau donc j'ai pu m'en sortir, sinon il y a un centre d'affaire avec imprimante.

ils se sont trompé de chambre
Nous sommes arrié vers 21h00, ils nous ont remis les clé de la chambre. À notre grande surprise il y avait déjà des valise dans la chambre. On redescent. Plus aucune chambre disponible avec 2 lit queen rien à faire. On nous donne une chambre avec un king et ont nous fourni 2 roll away mais pas de drap ou de couverture supplémentaire et serviette supplémentaire. On retroune en bas ont demande des drap et couverture...réponse tout est au lavage :-(. Plus tard on ou fourni des couvre matelas pour que mes enfants s'habrille...pas fort. Ensuite plein milieu de la nuit malchance la pile du détecteur de fumée est à plat donc sonne au 3 minutes, obligé de l'enlevé en plein milieu de la nuit et de redescendre pour avoir une autre pile. On y restait 2 soir le lendemain on a finalement réussi à avoir des drap et couverture et serviette de peine et misère.

The cleanliness was not great! The lobby floors and the second floor carpets were dirty. My pillows and comforter didn't smell great. It smelled like a wet dog. Let me include the hallway that had a strong aroma of marijuana. I will never go back.

The Holiday Inn Woodland Hills is conveniently located with easy access from and to the freeway. My wife and I were comfortable and safe walking from the hotel to a nearby restaurant. The only detraction for this location is that the hallway carpets were not vacuumed thoroughly so there were bits of detritus scattered randomly in the hallway of the 3rd floor.

The property is clean. The staff is nice. Hotel is quiet. Only thing we didn't like was the parking. It's small and not many parking spots. Overall a good experience.

All and all my stay was good. My room had some cob webs in washroom an on ceiling sprinkle which was a little concerning. Very friendly staff a great location.

The front desk staff were great, kind and very helpful. The rooms were very nice with cozy beds. There’s breakfast available every morning. Nothing elaborate just basic breakfast good but it’s a very nice additional touch. Housekeeping was there every day. The hotel was very quiet and it met all my needs.

This hotel is VERY clean and VERY safe (card keys are required in order for the elevator to get to your floor). The staff is pleasant and professional. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise, self-serve with a wide selection of breakfast foods to choose from. I was very impressed. The only glitch for me was that the carpets in my room had recently been cleaned. They were still pretty damp and the room was a bit muggy as a result, but that just attests to the cleanliness of the property, and wasn't really a problem for me. I have no trouble recommending this hotel at all.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review with us. Although it was not one, we hope for, it is one that we can use to better our guest experiences. That specific room type that you book was a Handicap Accessible Standard King room. Meaning these two rooms have some slight changes including the blinds being activated using a remote that was above your nightstand on the wall. Both blinds are working fine. We apologize if this was an inconvenience for you. I hope you will give all IHG hotels an opportunity to gain your trust and show you the outstanding service we normally provide.

The receptionist at the hotel charged me twice and I couldn’t spend money for the next two days on my credit card and the customer service was terrible. They never allow me to finish my conversation. they always interrupt me.

Hi Mr. Hamid-Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I was with the front desk agent when were were trying to resolve your issue. The card was authorized for the entire stay on your credit card, which is the normal procedure. However, we reversed the authorization immediately when you chose to pay cash. I understand how frustrating it must have been to not be able to use your credit card until the issue got resolved. I really heard you when you spoke of this to us, which is why I gave a discount on the room well below the current rate you were quoted. I was hoping that resolving the issue and offering a discount would be a satisfactory resolution to the matter, but I would again apologize if it was not.I am sorry that you felt that we did not let you finish your conversation. I did in fact want to hear what you had to say and also care very deeply about providing you great customer service. I will definitely use your experience with us to train my staff should an issue like this rise again. Please feel free to reach out at any time.

Don’t stay here! Horrible experience! This Holiday Inn Express on Ventura Blvd and Sale Ave in Woodland Hills is a piece of crap! The hotel staff is terrible (they didn’t clean the room, it was disgustingly filthy, the “cleaning “ staff was obnoxious and loud, and even went through my personal belongings that I had in the dresser). When I complained to the manager, he didn’t care one bit, and acted as if it was my own fault. I’ll never stay there again!

Hi Ryan,Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Looking back at your reservation you stayed for 5 days with room cleaning done everyday by a few different staff members. Also it appears that you didn't mention anything about needing any additional cleaning until you checked out. We can always offer more cleaning when messes are made after housekeeping has already cleaned your room, if you ask for it. We hope you come back and give us a chance by asking if you need any additional amenities from the hotel.
