Amazing stay
This hotel was amazing with a stunning view from the restaurant. Very good breakfast, nice and professional staff and very conviennent. Rooms are basic however. One thing to be improved. The housekeeping should be made everyday.

Nice spot
Nice spot for lot of things ! For eating and drinking... both Barentz Pub and Nansen are very good. For picture... the alert for the Northern Lights works, but the best is still to go outside and be prepared :-) And for services / activities. We really have good time there.

Nous avons passé une nuit brève afin de prendre le vol de 2h25. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le silence et les lits impeccables qui nous ont amené le repos si ce n'est pas le sommeil parfait à une heure pareil.

Funken lodge
Nous avons été surclassé donc nous avons pas d'avis sur le radisson mais le funken Lodge était super surtout le petit-déjeuner. Il est légèrement en sortie de la rue principale

Booked months ago with hope to use sauna, but sauna was closed during my stay. Room had good mattress and nice blackout curtains. Small room can use a shelf in the bedroom, and in the bathroom please. Good breakfast buffet & nice dinner.

L’hotel è situato in un’ottima posizione di Longyearbyen. Ha una hall grande e comoda con una colazione eccellente. La camera che ci è stata assegnata ci era stata presentata come una Junior Suite ma effettivamente era una normale stanza con divano letto, non era proprio impeccabile in termini di pulizia e un po’ spartana. Il bagno invece era nuovissimo. Tutto sommato comunque un soggiorno molto piacevole.

Fikk rom i kompleks utenfor hotellet. Rom stort og ok; men måtte ut og over gårdsplassen for å komme inn på hotellet. Surt og kaldt ute så derfor ikke noe ok. Prisene i baren alt for stive på drikke i forhold til andre utesteder i byen. 100% dyrere.

Bra hotell i enden av "shoppinggata" Kort vei til alt. Bra frokost bortsett fra kaffen som var forferdelig. Hadde heldigvis pulverkaffe på rommet. Maten i puben falt ikke i smak hos oss. 3 personer, så det ble mat i shopping gata for oss. Restauranten prøvde vi ikke så der vet vi ikke. Men generelt et meget bra hotell.

Likte rommene jeg brukte ved mine 2 opphold den siste uka, men pga dårlig løsning på rør fra badekar så stinket det råttent på 2 av rommene jeg benyttet. Når det ble kommentert på så var personalet veldig behjelpelige med å prøve å finne alternativer som skulle være bedre. Vi ble oppgradert til et nyoppusset rom med god standard. Det rommet kunne med fordel vært utstyrt med mer plass til å sett toalettartikler og knagger ut over det ble det et godt opphold.

Great stay but the airport transfer is not free
Nice modern hotel. Stayed 4 in one room, which was no problem. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of different choices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a jacuzzi and sauna but it’s not included in the stay. Obs: the airport bus costs 1000kr one way or a 170kr for a return ticket. But taking a taxi costed 160kr one way. So even if you are just 2 persons it’s cheaper taking the taxi. But you might need to book it in advance.

Very comfortable hotel choice in Longyearbyen
Extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly staff. Happy to book any & all excursions from the front desk and just generally very welcoming. The location is excellent, near to the museum/harbour, but also at the end of the main street, so easy to get anywhere by foot in a few minutes. All excursions use the hotel as a pick up point as well as the airport bus. Attached to the hotel are a Gastropub & a bit more of an upscale restaurant. Both were excellent, depending on what you're looking for. Breakfast was within this restaurant and was wide ranging and very nice. Lastly, to have a Jacuzzi/Sauna on site is a very nice bonus and to sit out in the Jacuzzi watching the sun go down with the mountains in the background is really fantastic
