« Our family stayed at the Starfish Bungalow in Seal Beach and loved the starfish theme and bright orange Dutch door. So fun! The decor is cute and our toddler was kept busy looking for shells which were placed around the property. The fenced yard provides a safe place for little ones to play. Kye and Elena were great hosts and a wealth of information about places to go/eat in Seal Beach. We felt at home during our stay. Until next time! »

« Our stay was quick for a wedding. Scott was really quick and very nice to talk to. His property is well thought out and easy to find. The inside bedrooms are very large, but the main living room kitchen area was smaller than anticipated. But it was worth it. »

In between Disney, our California cousins stopped by to visit—there was plenty of room! The Castle was a perfect house for our family. Previous reviewers left comments about uncomfortable beds, not enough plates/silverware and I would have to say that the owner has been responsive. « Location is great. They give you the door knob combo, but that doesn’t open the door. You have to twist the thing that a key would normally go in. That is not in the instructions. Garage entry instructions not provided. I called for a code and they sent me a code. That did not work. Turns out there was a remote on a hallway shelf that was semi hidden. That was not communicated in the move-in instructions. The garage is more of a small storage unit. Only thin cars can fit. No overnight...

« Initially, I was shocked of how small this hotel is, with no elevator, no vending machine…. But it grew on me. Loved the layout of the room, the quaint decor… the only negative I have is the bed. This memory foam bed was way too soft, and I felt that the soft mattress was on top of a softer mattress. I like to sleep on my side, and I slept curved like a banana…. Also, you only get one pouch of coffee during your stay. Since you need filters, you either have to uy a full box and your ground...

« Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was nice and very close to the Long Beach Convention center. Basically, it only took 4-5 minutes to walk there from the dock. Additionally, there are several restaurants and a few shops in the immediate vicinity. The primary concerns were the number of homeless people surrounding the area and the somewhat limited parking for overnight accommodations. Overall, it was a memorable experience. »
