Caren & Dave run a fantastic BnB - think we got the best one in town! So clean, comfortable and lovely, very accommodating. Room 3 was gorgeous, the bed was really comfy and breakfast set us right for the rest of the day. We wished we could’ve stayed for another night!

A Family run business. Stayed there for one night while doing the NC500. Beautiful, clean surroundings. A lovely ensuite with great views over the loch. Facilities modern and everything you could ask for and an excellent breakfast. A lovely friendly couple. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we ever pass that way.

Simply perfect.
This is, in my opinion, the Goldilocks of B&B . It is " just right" . I feel other people wanting to open their own business should stay here to see how it should be done. We honestly could not fault the property, room, cleanliness, breakfast or area. It is all so very perfect. It's the little details which make it so very good. Everything has been thought through even down to make up removal flannel. Well done Davar !

Beautiful room and en-suite with fab view over loch. Very welcoming and knowledgable owners, very helpful with advice regarding what to see/ walks in area. Breakfast very good nice choices. Immaculately clean . Would definitely recommend .

Perfect stay
We stayed a couple of nights and the hosts were very nice to us and everyone else. Lovely chats in the morning whole having nice cooked/continental breakfast and plenty of recommendations for the day. This was as part of our NC500 tour and this area in between Torridon and Drumbeg is possibly the one we enjoyed the most.

Wonderful locally run guest house!
This wee guesthouse is beautifully located in the gorgeous village of Lochinver and is family-run. Dave, the landlord, is a font of useful local information and guided us to some beautiful walks. The place is spotless and comfortable and breakfast was lovely

What a lovely stay!
Lovely stay at Davar. It's a family run business - Dave and Karen are both nice and friendly and gave us lots of tips of visiting around areas. The room was gorgeous with lots of perks and well decorated throughout. It's super clean and very stylish. The breakfast was very tasty and set us up for a long day of hiking. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon!

The place is clean and decorated like an older home. Bathroom was rather dated (e.g. pink sink). It would have been nice, when we arrived around 8:30pm, to be told that the hot water gets turned down at 10, so we would not have ended up with only lukewarm showers that night. They were were accommodating about getting an the cold breakfast food early so we could get an early start.

We do have a timer on the hot water which switches off around 10:30pm as a consideration to other guests and because we are a family home and try to be environmentally aware. We can only apologise for not mentioning this on arrival but need to highlight that Bed and Breakfasts are family homes, rather than 24 hour business'. Unfortunately with an arrival time nearly 3 hours after agreed check in, it's not always possible to give as much time as we would like, as we have a family to attend to also. Sorry also, that you didn't like the pink sink, we are a small B&B rather than a chain hotel and whilst we do try reinvest any business profits in improvements, the toilet sink colour hasn't made it on to the priority list just yet - one day perhaps! :-)

Fantastic
Great little gem with amazing views of Lochinver. Little kettle in the room to make a hot chocolate before bed made me feel at home and cozy ready for bed. Getting to order pancakes with maple syrup and bacon the night before had me jumping out of bed, ready for breakfast in the morning.
