Nice hotel but was on the pricey side, great breakfest but very noisy till 4am. No place to unload suitcases. If the want to party great location i guess.

J’ai passé une semaine merveilleuse à Lisbonne et cet hôtel a été un véritable coup de cœur, extrêmement bien placé, petit dej de qualité, produits frais et personnel au petit soin et respectueux, l’hôtel possède une belle vue sur la place en plein centre et il y a des arrêts de tram juste en face. La salle de bain était magnifique et la propreté au Rdv. Je recommande évidemment. Merci pour tout ♥️

très contents de notre sejour
hôtel très bien placé sur une place très animée avec beaucoup de commerce et en plus le célèbre tram 28 qui s arrête devant la porte de l hôtel. Nous sommes tombées sur du personnel très sympathique. L hôtel est super propre et le petit dejeuner est vraiment formidable et peu cher. Nous le recommandons .

We stayed from Friday through Tuesday and our room faced the alley. Every night there were amplified loud noises coming from the street and bars that would continue till early morning. It was unbearable and we were not able to have restful nights. The hotel itself was very nice. Breakfast was great and had a variety of offerings. The staff was nice and helpful. However, I would probably not stay here again because of the noise. Not worth the money we spent.

Poor customer service and false advertisement! We selected and reserved a room with a kind bed (as advertised). When we arrived and settled into the room, we noticed that that bed was not king, it was a queen. So we asked. We were told that they do not have any king beds in the hotel, all beds are queen size and that Expedia mislabeled the listing. The hotel staff could really care less. They also made it clear that they prefer booking dot com over Expedia. Of course we went through all of the questions as to why this room was significantly more expensive than the others. Through this conversation I went online and showed them other "king" rooms that were being advertised on Expedia and I also went to Bookings.com and showed them the same listings with king beds. Miraculously, they found a room with a king bed, but we couldn't switch rooms until the following day. The room they were offering was smaller than what we paid for (it was explained the room pricing is based on the sq.ft. of the room). No discounts on a smaller room were offered and none have been received to date. The second day we were moved to the new room, we were not in the room long when the electrical box started making a loud humming noise and other electrical issues. No manager on site, but the manager did call hotel staff and said nothing that could be done. The manager never reached out to us, even though we asked to speak with them multiple times. The positive-Breakfast was good!

The only thing I didnt like was the the room so soooo small. I made it work as I was alone but if I had a full size suitcase or if I had someone with me with a suitcase, I dont know where it would have gone. Bathroom was really tight. The sink was 6 by 12 inches and I hit my head on the shelf when I brushed my teeth. But you cant beat the location. I would stay there again and pack light.

Everyone who worked there was lovely, the rooms are decently sized for a boutique hotel. Very clean. Breakfast with the pianist was amazing- Only small flaw is the elevator is tiny and take time otherwise highly recommend and look forward to coming here again :) thank you guys for a lovely stay.

I mean, it’s clean, quiet and well situated. The staff was very attentive but if you plan to do anything other than sleep you can’t really do it here. It’s the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. The door to enter itself was so narrow and you cannot walk around the bed if your partner is standing there, and there is no place to sit. It just so happened that we were tired and just wanted to stay in that evening and all we can do is sit in bed.

Can't rate this place highly enough. Very clean, good sized room and no noise from the square below with windows shut. Tea, coffee & water could be got from reception any time. Breakfast was fantastic with a piano player each morning it was quite special and a lovely selection of fresh fuit, hot & cold options. It was also centrally located for walking to most places plus a tram stop just outside. Will definitely stay here again.

Room was lovely. Beautiful view on 5th floor. Need’s better signage on building. Front entrance did not leave me feeling warm and fuzzy. You have to go to first floor for front desk. Again there was no signage to show us that.

Great stay, everything required for a short city break. Clean, tidy, amazing choice at breakfast. Location is superb. Only negative is no safe/tea or coffee in room and slow check in process. But after viewing many hotels in Lisbon this was a great choice!

Better signage would help. We stood in the square asking people who worked in the area for directions and no one coud tell us. We finally noticed the small sign near the door. Also, we asked for room service shortly after 10 p.m. and were refused.

We loved the Solar dos Poetas. It has a lot of charm, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location in Old Town is great. Our disappointment was in the room itself. We requested a kingsize bed and got it. But the bed took up most of the space in the room and we had nowhere to put our stuff. That made it very difficult to be relaxed as we were constantly having to dig things out of our suitcases. A simple solution would be to install some hanging shelves in the washroom and near the bed.
