Big Horse Inn is a quiet clean place to stay. There is no one at the front desk at all. The rooms are too dark for me. There are no microwaves in the rooms. There are no towel hooks or bars near the showers. There are no reading lights in the rooms. There is no hot breakfast included just a few packages snacks at the front counter. I do like that the building is attached to Black Maple coffee which has food and beverages. I think a few tweaks to this hotel would raise my score.

Great motel
Needed a last minute room. Reviews looked good so booked. All info was on the desk. First thing i noticed besides the obvious country charm is it looked clean and comfortable from the loiby on down the hall. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Only thing would have made it better was coff in the room. But it was available in the lobby. Didnt notivmce the restaurant on the end of the building untin we were pulling back out on the highway or we'd have stopped in for breakfast. But the snack bars and such in the lobby were a nice touch. Will definitely stay again if we need a room in that area.

Clean & nice decor. Good shower. Comfy bed. Self check in/out. Didn't see anyone at either. After a long drive it would be good to have a coffee/tea machine. No breakfast option. Fridge is a bit noisy.

For being in such a rural setting, Big Horse Inn and Suites was outstanding. My room was nice and clean when I arrived. The owner was present every day and both her and her helpers were very accommodating. I will definitely use this lodging again.

There was self check in, that was great. The room was clean and artfully decorated. The coffee in the morning was great, reception was so very pleasant! Kudos!!!

This cute little motel was wonderful! Clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated! We especially loved the quite, snacks and water after a long day! We will definitely stay again!

We have been on the road for almost a month and this is by far the most unique place we’ve seen. This boutique hotel is fabulous! Immaculate, beautifully furnished, quiet and extremely reasonable. The self check in was handled very well and the only thing lacking was an ice machine. I went across the street to the convenience store to purchase some but they only had large bags so they gave me two large cups of ice from the soda dispenser. Very accommodating. Dining was somewhat of an issue because it’s a small town and most places were closed early on Sunday but we found The Rocket Bar & Grill just down the street. We were the only ones there but had great pork tenderloin sandwiches and good conversation with the bartender/waitress/cook! All & all a great experience. I’ll probably never be back in this area but highly recommend this little out of the way place!!

Located in a quiet rural community is this outstanding motel! Great beds, free coffee in lobby with snacks. Super price for such high quality rooms! Hall down to rooms is very wide! Amish built bed frames and furniture are heavy duty!! Will stay again!

Very nice with unique design hotel. The furniture was made by Amish. Free coffee/tea and snacks in a lobby. Easy self checkin. Really enjoyed staying there. Definitely will be back.

The decor is definitely unique. Comfy beds, though a bit difficult for us short people to get into. Nice and clean. They offer free WiFi, however, you have to ask for the password. The owner lives there, so is available for most emergencies.I like the "self checkout/in" factor. Could provide a luggage card for those of us that overpack or are a bit older. (ahem)
