The Basic Tourist Rooms have a shared bathroom so yes very simple for the price, but we hope to offer key solutions in future. Have a safe travel onto your next location.

Thanks for your comments Eamon, the keys have been here longer than I have :-) one day we may change, but it's quirky and works well to prevent people loosing keys (which happens a lot! We have even found them hanging in trees in Interlaken!)We hope to extend check-in times one day by a more digital style check-in , but for now we try to work to our best ability within the budget price of the property. Mr Ganesh,Such a shame your felt the need to raise these issues after leaving us and not speaking to us in person.Rooms have window bars and balconies that meet Regulations in Switzerland. We are the one of the most economic hotels in Wengen and are listed as a Swiss Lodge. We also clearly indicate that we do not have a lift as unfortunately as the chalet was built in 1908 we are unable to gain permission to install one. We cannot offer fans in all rooms as the electricity consumption to the older builder would mean full black-out every night if everyone turned on a fan and or kettles. We offer Kettles with a deposit for this reason, and you had free use of the reception kettle facitlity to all guests. There is a communal fridge in reception that was explained to you as well for guest use. We operate a check-in facility from 14:00-18:00 which is listed and have to make arrangements for staffing to accomodate late check-ins. These times are on our property website and was communicated to you on a number of occasions. We will be confirming all our safety arrangements with Expedia and thank-you for highlighting these to them so that we can confirm that we meet regulation and compliance in order to reassure our future guests. Our toilet facilities are small and again we are unable to change them currently due to planning restrictions set by the local authority. Next time, do feel confident to speak directly with us.
