Cozy Farmhouse!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yellow Farmhouse. The home is cozy, comfortable and very clean, stocked with everything we needed to enjoy some family time together. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and eat meals at the kitchen table and in the dining room.There's a large selection of games which were wonderful for the kids and adults alike. I can't say enough about how great the house is! The outdoors area is quite nice to, with the lovely porch and a nice size back yard. Katherine and Kevin are wonderful hosts. Katherine contacted me a week before our arrival, to let me know when the check in info would be available, and to see if our had any questions. She also gave some suggestions about restaurants and general info about the Lake George area. She was so helpful, and contacted us again once we were in the home to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication was outstanding, check in went smoothly. Overall this was a perfect stay! We all wished we could stay for another day! We'd love to return!

Great Hosts
We had a lovely long weekend that was a bit different than expected. A rainy forecast became a winter storm. We awoke to over 8 inches of snow, and by the end of the day the accumulation was between 16 and 20 inches according to news reports- our host appeared and helped shovel snow and salt the driveway so that we could get our car out. We enjoyed hiking with snow shoes.The house was wonderful and the hosts outstanding. And Lake George is a beautiful place!

Thanksgiving with family
When we walked in, we were overwhelmed with the Christmas spirit, the comfyness, the wonderful Christmas feel. The hosts were absolutely amazing, they were responsive, attentive and I could not have been more impressed with how welcoming everything was. This is a wonderful home for a family, or an extended family. Lots of games, big yard, tons of special extras like the welcome basket, the seasonal atmosphere. Truly amazing.

Lovely Home!
We absolutely loved the house. Not only was it decorated adorably inside and out, but it was stocked with everything you could think of. We did not need to stop at the store for anything. It was extremely clean and very quaint and cozy. It was in the perfect location, and easy to get to and from our scheduled tours. Communication with the owner was excellent from beginning to end. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing
This property was absolutely amazing. We could not of expected anything more. The check in process was simple, communication from the hosts were quick on there response when asked a question. This house felt like home from the moment my wife and i walked threw the door. The house was extremely clean and warmly decorated with its decor. They definitely know how to make you feel right at home. The moment we walked in entry way there was a basket filled with homemade cookies and donuts along with all the little extras. There was not one thing in this house that they missed. My wife and i cannot wait to return. Thank you Katherine and kevin for welcoming us to your home. It was a amazing experience ❤️

Amazing Vacation
Honestly can't say enough great things about the house and our wonderful host. The house is cozy and inviting. As a person with OCD, i have never been able to fully relax and feel comfortable at any places we have stayed previously but the house was so clean, i was comfortable from thr start. It is hard not to be in this house. Our host is amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed. The house has literally everything you could possibly need. We love it so much, we have already booked for next year. Best rental we have done.

Great stay in Lake George!
We came for a weeklong family vacation to Lake George. There is easy access to all of the area’s amenities with a short drive. Literally about 5 minutes to Lake George Village, or 15 minutes up to Bolton Landing. With cozy in the title we were expecting a small house, but it was spacious and comfortable for our family of 6! There is a nice dining room (great for a family game night or meal!), and also space to sit in the kitchen around the island. The bedrooms were comfortable, with plenty of pillows. There are also some lovely outdoor spaces including a large porch, back deck, fire pit with seating, and grill! The house was very clean and included basics for the week, such as toiletries and linens. We would happily stay at this property again in the future!

spectacular trip
The house was as warm, beautiful and cozy as in the photos. The bedrooms were very inviting. The bottom bunk had either a full or queen size mattress and was comfortable for my daughter and son-in-law. The location is excellent, an easy straight drive into the town of Lake George or the Sagamore Hotel which is in the opposite direction. Katherine was readily available to all of my emails, friendly and helpful when needed. My family voted this trip the best one yet. We won't be back next summer but they all agreed we will definitely come back to Lake George and this house.

Great Stay
This was a great home for our family vacation. The location is the perfect distance from both Bolton Landing and Lake George. The home is clean, cozy, and well maintained. Communications from and with Katherine & Kevin were timely and quick. Everything was exactly as listed and one of the best VRBO locations we have booked.

Comfortable relaxing stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy yellow farmhouse! To start, the location is great, just a few minutes drive to the shops and restaurants of Lake George Village and also close to Bolton Landing, a beautiful town. There are several beaches in the area to choose from, all great! The house is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are very comfortable (2 masters, both with a full ensuite bath, one downstairs and one on the second floor) a bunk room and a twin room. My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law and our 14 year old grandson and his friend were all so comfortable and relaxed. There’s a wrap-around front porch with rocking and Adirondack chairs that quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee. The backyard is very large, with total privacy (which is something you don’t often get in a lake house). Lawn games, an outside grill, large picnic table, and fire pit provide all you need for a wonderful vacation. Katherine is a friendly host, offering open communication if we had any questions. This is a 5 star vacation home in every way! We can’t wait to return!!

Long weekend getaway
We had a great family trip to the yellow farmhouse. Very well supplied and decorated with lots of nice touches everywhere in the house. Beautiful front porch and nice backyard for grilling and fire pit/corn hole. Hosts were very pleasant and available to any issues except that it some of the messaging was borderline between checking in with us versus checking up on us. My only other constructive comment is that the downstairs bathroom shower had very weak, water pressure. Great place overall!

Thank you for your constructive comment about the shower pressure in the downstairs bathroom. The shower head has 3 settings and we noticed you had it on the lowest one. We will make sure our future guests realize the shower head can be adjusted to increase the pressure. We hope you come back again soon.😊

The house was very clean, well-stocked and inviting! Lovely wrap-around porch with rocking chairs for sitting outside even when rainy. Wonderful coffee bar fully supplied with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mugs, and all necessities. Great location -short drive into Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. Very good communication with owner, who even made special recognition of my birthday! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful getaway
I took a weekend fishing trip with 4 of my friends and this property was perfect. We made use of the fire pit, the lawn games, and the close proximity to restaurants and boat rentals. We could not have asked for more.

Perfect cottage!
I was so impressed by this property! We have stayed in many places and you could tell they were rentals. This house was impeccably clean! We loved the details of the Xmas tree and winter decorations, to the flannel sheets, and the cozy fireplace. We will absolutely be staying here again when visiting Lake George! Katherine & Kevin communicated everything and were so pleasant!

Great owner & property
We had a wonderful stay with our family and my daughter's friend. Katherine was great....very responsive. We went skiing for the weekend at Gore. The property was perfectly located to enjoy both LG and skiing. We unfortunately left a few items behind, and Katherine so was great to retrieve them and mail them back to us. Highly recommend.

This charming house was exactly what we were looking for during a winter weekend in the Adirondacks. It was centrally located and well-appointed. What a warm welcome we received when we walked through the front door! The fireplace was lit and there was a welcome basket waiting for us on the kitchen counter. Each of the bedrooms had a special welcome sign as well! Katherine and Kevin were amazing hosts! They provided us with helpful information throughout our stay! We loved it here and couldn’t wait to come back for a cozy evening after a day skiing at Gore. Hope to return again soon!

Family Reunion
This was my first experience with booking on VRBO and I was NOT disappointed. We had 6 adults staying overnight for a family gathering and we all loved this charming property! It was very clean, welcoming, and tastefully decorated. The host had special little welcoming touches for each of us and she was a delight to communicate with. Wedding weekend with family!
This beautiful farmhouse rental was perfect for our family. Our stay include our 2 grown children and my mother. The first floor master was perfect for her! No need to worry about stairs and she had her own bathroom and ease of access to the kitchen. The home was cozy, clean and decorated to encourage relaxation. The location put us in the middle of all key events located in Lake George Village, Bolton Landing and the Promise Gardens venue. Thank you for your ease of communication and personal touch! The cozy modern farmhouse was just as described. There was plenty of room and everything was clean. There was even a gift basket left for us with toys for the kids. The owners answered our text immediately when we asked to find more pillows. They were very welcoming and you got the sense they wanted us to feel at home. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit. The property is a five minute drive to lake George village where we went swimming and played in the arcade. Great vacation. Will definitely stay here in the future
