Have stayed at Pacific Edge multiple times. We love the premium rooms with balcony, makes for a perfect beach getaway. Staff always helpful and professional. Kitty was great, she assisted us prior to arrival via text, at check in, and during our stay.

PRO's: Quick and easy access to the beach. Beach is clean and beautiful. Hotel maintenance was prompt to fix room issues. CON's: Hotel was dirty, unkept, and outdated. Kitchen was out of stock of most things on menu and items were overpriced when comparing it to the facility. The room was not ready until after the "guaranteed" check-in time, which added stress to our vacation. We had to call maintenance to come clean out our sink as there was an incredibly foul smell from the previous guests who stayed. Overall, the beach access made it worth the trouble, however we won't be staying here again.

The view right over the ocean was worth every penny, and the staff woman that checked us in was extremely professional! The property needs a lot of renovation is very old and the furniture inside was extremely dated, but with a few extra bucks in each room, they could make a difference!! The cleaning crew in the restaurant next-door was extremely loud about 12 o’clock at night!! The location is fantastic very close to a lot of restaurants and shops!!

This used to be a favorite destination for my family. The two bedroom units are in great disrepair, the game room is gone, one pool was broken AND there are resort fees added. Valet parking is required at $45 per day, can take a while to drop off/pick up (especially with an event happening and busy restaurants). For the units that have parking spots in front, guests should have priority instead of having to haul luggage around. I also asked the desk to accept a FedEx package - they rejected it.

Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and welcomed my husband for his birthday with a bottle of wine! We chose this hotel for the location and the hot tub, but the hot tub was unusable because it was so dirty for 2 days. The walls were very thin the neighbors toilet overflowed at 5:30 in the morning and we heard everything all the way till 9 AM. Good location, but the facility is run down.

The older rooms are not pictured on the Expedia site or the hotel site. Our room was not what I thought we booked. It was old, worn with torn carpet. The staff was nice and waived some fees but the nice rooms were sold out so we couldn’t move. We felt very mislead.

It's right on the beach which is great. I personally think the hotel is in need of serious updating. The restaurant The Deck is great. Food & view are great. I've stayed here a couple of times but will probably be my last because even though I pay for a oceanfront room they seem to always stick us in the one building without an elevator. Just an fyi they have phones in the room that do not work. Text is the way to always communicate with the front desk which is fine but the front desk should make you aware of this when you are checking in. Also, maybe take the phones out of the rooms because they do not work which would be less confusing for people.

The staff was nice, check-in was seamless, and the room was clean, the sheets were clean. I slept well, the front desk added a bottle of complementary wine to my stay, which was very nice of them. Overall, this is a nice place to stay if you wanna be centrally located and have easy access to the beach.

We booked a suite with balcony thinking since it was on the beach we would have some view of the ocean. The view was the parking lot and valet attendant tent. Luckily we could upgrade to ocean view. The room was clean but old: had peeling paint on moulding and rusty metal hinges and deteriorating balcony. Very old and worn out property but right on the beach.

Unfortunately Expedia overbooked our reservation and we were downgraded from an ocean view to a street view with smaller beds and room size. But the front desk was gracious enough to reduce our room fee and give us a restaurant credit and free parking too. The hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff was excellent. Thank you Pacific Edge Hotel for making our stay comfortable.

Such an amazing property right in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach and on the sand. The standard room without an ocean vuew is quite expensive though for what it is and there is resort fees plus an extra 40 dollars to park your car in valet. Luckily I had a small credit from expedia to put towards the cost or I woulbt have probably not stayed there

Pros: Great location and amazing views with perfect beach front access. The hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas set up for guests so all you have to do is walk down and relax. Watched the sunset each night and got treated to a large pod of dolphins super close to shore. Snacks and drinks in room for fee. Clean bed and floors. Only cons: while the rooms have been updated fairly well, the bathrooms could use some help, chipped mirror, etc. Beds were a bit hard. Weirdly got woken up in the morning with manager and a fire inspector demanding to come in our room. We weren’t dressed and we had to get out of bed and dressed for them to come in. Seemed odd. Parking is 45$ per night. With that said, would stay again for the location.
