excellent séjour de 4 nuits en transit dans un très beau site; A savoir: accès par la mer, ou par escalier en bois à gravier et chambres en hauteur ( nombreuses marches). Chambres spacieuses et confortables avec terrasse ( vue sur mer). Restaurants de qualité sur place.

A éviter!
Joli hôtel dans un cadre paradisiaque isolé et accessible seulement en bateaux. Le probleme est bien là, aucun moyen de se rendre dans la magnifique ville Ao Nang qui est pourant juste a côté a 150m. Les navettes organisées par l'hôtel sont lentes, rare et vous emmène SEULEMENT au port a 10km du centre de Ao Nang. Bref ils font tout pout que vous ne quittiez pas l'hôtel et consommiez a l'hôtel a des prix surfait! Dommage car le potentiel est là!

Vues magnifiques
Court séjour dans ce superbe hôtel sur la plage, accessible seulement par bateau (il y a quand même un petit chemin qui mène à Ao Nang, le monkey trail, mais pas conseillé avec des bagages!). Chambre club premium deluxe ocean facing, spacieuse et bien équipée avec une vue incroyable sur la mer (d'autres ont en plus un spa sur la terrasse). La formule "club" donne accès au salon club qui offre tout un tas de petits avantages exclusifs (check in / check out, réservations aux restaurants, café et boissons dans la journée, cocktail apéritif avant le dîner... petit déjeuner possible au salon club ou au restaurant principal (très bon buffet). Merci à James et Pooh du club qui font tout pour que ce soit parfait. Belles piscines, kayak, paddle, la plage... Et une belle soirée au restaurant pour le buffet Thai avec un spectacle de danse et Fire dancing). Très bon séjour, je craignais de m'ennuyer un peu d'où une réservation pour seulement 2 nuits, mais ça n'a pas été du tout le cas. Je serais finalement bien resté plus longtemps.

Très bon hôtel dans un suberbe emplacement la vie mer me semblé importante dans le choix d une chambre pour profiter de la vue L accès bateau à réserver est très agréable si la mer est calme Nous avons fait les différents restaurants de l hôtel nous avons apprécié le japonais le thaï et le restaurant de la plage L international présente beaucoup mois d intérêt Le prix de la restauration est relativement élevé mais compte tenu de l emplacement de l hôtel cela me semble un passage obligé C est une belle prison dorée que nous avons quitter avec regrets Belle plage

Nous avons passé 2 nuits en couple dans cet hotel. Superbe cadre, belle plage réservée à l'hôtel, super resto le rock les pieds dans le sable. Ne soyez pas surpris si des petits singes viennent se balader sur la terrasse de votre chambre ! Chambre design et belle malgré quelques signes d'usure (portes qui coulissent mal, le cache de l'aération de la salle de bain est tombé, clim qui goutte un peu...) Paddle et kayaks gratuits à dispo. Très satisfaisant dans l'ensemble.

Notre avis ne sera pas totalement objectif car nous n'avons pas pu profiter de l'hôtel car nous étions malade. Nous avions réservé pour 2 nuits, nous sommes restés dans notre lit. Arrivée à l'hôtel en bateau, aucun autre accès, c'est une baie où il n'y a que l'hôtel. Très belle chambre avec jacuzzi sur le balcon. Néanmoins, environnement très bruyant. A partir de 5h du matin il y a beaucoup de bruit autour (personnel de l'hôtel qui travaille ou singes qui font la fête dehors???). Chambre par conséquent très mal insonorisée). Attention si vous êtes malade il n'y a aucune permanence médicale sur l'hôtel, même pas téléphonique. La nuit il faut payer un bateau pour se rendre dans un autre hôtel pour voir un médecin ou alors patienter jusqu'à 9h du matin que la clinique de l'hôtel ouvre (clinique qui n'a pas de médecin mais une infirmière, je pense, qui vous donne quelques médicaments et vous conseille d'aller à la clinique la plus proche). Le personnel de la réception est très attentif et soucieux de notre bien être. Plage magnifique.

acces a l'hotel par bateau en 5 mn, avec possibilite de rejoindre en 20 mn à pied la plage d'aonang anisi que la partie vivante avec shopping mais il faut emprunter des marches d'escalier et traverser une petite jungle.Je conseille une chambre vue mer avec jaccuzzi,c'est le top face aux pitons rocheux, belle piscine, plage tranquille.confort++et deco feerique.nous avons mangé au restaurant japonnais, un vrai spectacle!il y a des singes dans l'hotel c,est aussi un spectacle, je pense que 2 ou 3 nuits suffisent car pour les repas du soir il faut manger dans un des 3 restaurants ou faire de la marche

Hôtel génial, mais loin du centre-ville!
L'hôtel est génial (très beau !) mais il faut savoir que quand on y est, on est loin de tout. C'est à dire, il faut prendre un bateau privé pour arriver à l'hôtel (ou de l'hôtel au centre ville). Il faut ajouter le prix d'un tuk-tuk à chaque fois qu'on se déplace, et on est un peu prisonnier de ces conditions. Aussi, le prix de l'eau et des repas est assez élevé ! Enfin, si vous comptez rester allongé sur des transats et passer la journée à ne faire que ça, c'est l'endroit idéal (il y a 1 heure de kayak offerte par jour).

hôtel absolument superbe
c'est un hôtel , certes pas facilement accessible, mais dans un cadre absolument idyllique. Du coup , vous n'avez que la clientèle de l'hôtel sur la plage, et vous êtes littéralement dans un écrin de verdure à l'abri du bruit et de l'agitation. vous pouvez aisément restez plusieurs jours, vous ne vous lasserez pas de cet endroit magnifique. Bref nous avons adoré, et pourtant nous sommes des habitués des voyages, mais nous avons aimé le luxe délicat et raffiné de ce bel hôtel.Excellent service.

3 days in Krabi
We stayed 3 days at Centara and quite deceived about it. More than a 100 boats are passing all day long in front of the hotel that you might think you are accross a factory... the hotel is beautiful as for the room expect that it is dirty...10minutes in your room and you get your foot dark...at the price this is not possible. finally as the hotel is only accessible by sea, the transfers should be free to go to Ao Po or near by. krabi was quite a deception with too much tourists, noise...and trouble water.

Although the facility and food were excellent, the staff makes this place a must stay. The staff were so happy and willing to help with any need. A special thank you to Tangmo. She was extremely helpful with an injury sustained (completely my fault) on the monkey trail. We feel very lucky she was there and so willing to help. Her concern for us was very genuine.

This is an amazing resort. The highlights are the scenic setting on the cliffs, and the private beach! Be aware that you reach the resort by boat. You can walk the monkey trail into town but it's a long walk. You reserve boats to go into town or for any sight seeing excursions. If you stay late in Krabi you can hail a water taxi if necessary. The cost was about 700 THB. If you want to get away from it all you can't beat this resort. The only downside is the extra time and planning required when you want to do anything off property.

Extremely private resort in Krabi. Beautiful property - the photos do not do this place justice. Accessible only by boat or via monkey trail - this keeps the property private but makes it more difficult to access the town. Friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Travelling with kids (10 and 8 years old), they loves the pool! Great breakfast! I did not rate it a 5 start only because trying to get the hotel to arrange transport was really difficult. Just arrange hotel transfer from the airport through Klook. Only 635 Bhat, vs. 1500 that the hotel wanted to charge. Book shuttle back right away or there may not be room.

Horrible horrible and absolutely unacceptable customer service. I have been traveling around Thailand several times and I have never experienced such a rude non carrying staff members in any hotels around Thailand. We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived and every interaction with a front desk service or other staff members felt like we are inconvenience to them. No one ever explained us about the property how to reserve a shuttle boat or any other amenities within the resort. Front desk staff never answers the phone when you tried to call them and when you approach them in person, they avoid a conversation and not giving you a straight answer. This is not acceptable especially in a place where customer service is the key

This is a very challenging property. The management is clearly either not in control or there is little training. The person taking us to our room was lost. Instead of getting a golf cart we walked up and down the hill. The staff do not say hello or smile. There was construction by our room. Nothing was done after a complaint. A note about changing rooms was never done. Complete confusion. The food is below average so people go elsewhere. The facilities are worn and tired.

The hotel has the best view in the world from a hotel. And this is what you pay for... We had a deluxe room but I would say the view only made it deluxe. The room had alot of damaged furniture, cupboards not shutting or stains on the floor. Floor was not mopped so was very dirty. The bed is rattan so it does sound like it's broken when you get on the bed. But the bed was very comfortable dispite this. The windows in the room are very strange as with it being frosted you can still see shadows. The coast restaurant serves very nice food and I feel is the most reasonable out of all the restaurants. The Indian terrible food and nothing like Indian food. Thai restaurant we got stung on the first night at the hotel we kept asking before going in how much this would be. No one told us and told us it's a buffet. We were charged over £96 English pounds which is crazy money. But we didn't dispute it as what was the point the food was nice. The hotel shuttle with the boat is a little inconvenient at times due to the times available. Monkey trail we didn't try this as people said it is way to dangerous. The pier is interesting and could do with an investment on building a proper one. The prices are to high in the restaurants. Overall we would love to return the hotel does need updating showing more as a 4* not 5* and would be nice for an adult only pool to built as the relaxing pool had no loungers and looked abandoned.

Staff was nice. Only reachable by boat that has to be prebooked by staff. Can walk through monkey trail to get to shops/dining but it’s a steep climb!

Our room was great and view quite nice. The customer service was a bit odd. They did not let us know our room was ready for over an hour. The front desk seemed constantly confused. The hotel is a bit isolated you need to take a Monkey walk rickety trail to get to Ao Nang the closest town and the shuttle service is very restrictive with reservations needed 24 hours in advance. However the views are amazing and pool is nice and as I mentioned our room was beautiful

However, it's apparent, as echoed in numerous previous reviews, that the rooms could benefit from some updates as they exhibit signs of wear and tear. Two primary concerns stand out regarding the property. Firstly, the accessibility requires a boat, a crucial detail that should be clearly communicated upfront. While this is common in the area due to its natural setting, the frequency and booking process of the ferries pose inconvenience. Departures occur hourly, and reservations must be made well in advance due to limited capacity, disrupting spontaneous plans. The alternative, a challenging hike to Ao Nang or an expensive "private boat" option, further compounds the issue. Secondly, the property tends to be crowded, affecting various aspects of the guest experience. Breakfast is consistently busy, securing a seat can be challenging, and the pool area is often bustling. Additionally, the presence of many families and children alters the ambiance of the vacation, which may not be ideal for some guests. Despite these drawbacks, the staff members are commendable in their service. In summary, while the location and pricing may be suitable for last-minute bookings, it's advisable to conduct thorough research before making a reservation.

HONEST REVIEW FROM AN EXPERIENCED TRAVELLER!
Ok, firstly the hotel is far from 5 star, more like 3 star. It is clean and the view is ok,... just ok as there are trees everywhere so ocean view is not that good. The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff are friendly but very slow so room service is useless. Now what let's this place down is you expect it to be a private beach considering it is so expensive but it is full of holidaymakers not from the hotel so take no notice of the pictures. The pool is tiny with loud young booming music and there are nowhere near enough deck chairs. The beach is acceptable but not fantastic as claimed. The restaurant food is diabolical quality, just cheap frozen rubbish, beers are served in plastic jars not glass! The food is incredibly overpriced, average meal for two costs £40 for frozen cheap rubbish. Basically 4 times the price it should be! The only decent food is the Thai restaurant however that is insanely overpriced. There was a buffet one night, the cost was £60 per person which is scandalous for Thailand. Basically this hotel is run down, poor staff, absolutely terrible food and absurdly overpriced cheap food. I would say steer clear and go somewhere else as this place is just a money making con!

Love this beautiful property. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff were so friendly and we can tell they work so hard, so thank you! The only thing we didn’t love was the food. I think if this was improved it would make a world of a difference.
