昨年も滞在しましたが、スタッフも覚えていてくれて良かったです。バスの利用にも、フェリーの利用にも便利です.centre point にも近く。何かと便利です。

Not recommended for travelling with kids. However its good for those who love to explore the city. Nearby night market and easy to reach to waterfront area.

no left in the hotel, morning bread, jam, coffe & tea. 1st night they let me stay in 3rd floor, lucky 2nd they let me change to 1st floor. staff is helpful.

房间好多蚂蚁，外面很吵，晚上一直听到飞机的声音，根本无法睡，设施比较简陋，落后！没有电梯，抬行李累死我了！凌晨四点起床坐早班机，所以酒店没给我们提前准备早餐了！

Victoria Hotel & Hostel is in a good location near 7-11 convenience stores, several restaurants, and within a few minutes walking distance to the Kota Kinabalu sights. It’s 2-3 blocks from the taxi stand / bus stop to Kinabalu Park / Kundasang / Ranau, and a 20min walk to Jesselton port for island hopping. The staff here is very welcoming, helping me get my bearings by giving me a map and pointing out all the points of interest, including bus stops. I had a spacious room with a comfy bed, located at the end of the hall so I had a view of the night market below, which is a good area to stroll around at night, since it's in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, there is no elevator so be prepared to walk up lots of stairs. Wifi worked very well in the rooms, so that was a plus. A simple breakfast of coffee or tea, bread with jam or butter, & watermelon are included.

The hotel administration is not trust worthy!!!
The hotel administration charged more money when we checked in, although i have paid the dues in advance. They didn't treat us well and asked us to pay more or leave the hotel, we didn't have too many choices as most of the near hotels were fully packed. There should be a better way to contact this website when one is in trouble, who booked the hotel through this website.

Thank you for your review. This allows us the opportunity to justify ourselves regarding this case of guests bullying the hotel management. Firstly, there was a misleading mistake on Expedia's page. Mr. Talha had reserved a dorm room for 5 pax, but only paid for 1 person. Secondly, when explained to him kindly and patiently, he refused to pay for the 4 other pax and insisted to stay. We graciously agreed to let him stay if he paid for 1 more person. The next day, they wanted to move to a private room. We generously gave them a discount. They said they will pay later on. The following day, they were supposed to check out and pay. Yet they did not show up. When we went to their room during the evening to check if everything was alright, the room was empty. They sneaked out of the hotel without paying and took away our magnetic key card and room key. It is unfortunate that we had to experience this kind of treatment after being gracious and fair to them. We seek everyone's kind understanding regarding this matter. We, the management of Victoria Hotel & Hostel will always do everything we can for our guests to have a pleasant stay. Sincerely, Victoria Hotel & Hostel Management

Ein sehr günstiges Hotel in der City. Da wir tagsüber Ausflüge unternahmen, brauchten wir nicht mehr. Preis-Leistung für uns angemessen/top. Frühstück war sehr einfach (Tee/Kaffee, 3 Scheiben Toast, Marmelade, Obst), allerdings wäre etwas mehr Abwechslung (zweite Marmelade) schön gewesen. Ein Nachtmarkt findet direkt vor dem Hotel statt und wir hatten ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Fenster in diese Richtung. Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber man kriegt mit, dass draußen Betrieb ist.

Simple hotel with friendly staff
Room rate is really cheap. The room is good enough for travellers who just need simple place to stay in the city. It's near night market, convenience stores, massage/spa, and eateries. Most of all, staff are nice and friendly.

Pleasant stay for 4 nights. Clean room, clean toilet and clean bed. Breakfast is provided but it would be better if have one or two eggs :D Walking distance to all the eating places, Jesselton Point and bus stops.

OK for one night.
Rooms were overpriced for what you got, bed sheets had cigarette burns and run down. It was handy for a one night stay but wouldn't stay any longer especially when you can get other places for cheaper.

总体来说，该酒店能满足我的需要。我住的三人女生房，是三张单床，不用担心上下床的晃动引起的不便。房间空间够大，床单很干净，空调很新。公用洗手间、冲凉房都很干净。是我近几年来住过的青旅里性价比最高的。下次来亚庇，一定还会住这。

飯店整體簡單乾淨安靜，蠻舒適的。老板及員工親切、樂於提供旅遊資訊，加分不少。但因在巿區，雖然便利，外圍環境很吵，半夜仍噪音不斷。

Staff were very helpful and friendly, addressed us by name. Bed mattress could be firmer and pillows flatter, but overall room was clean and neat, including the bath. Good WIFI reception, TV had only two local channels.

I was disappointed about the cleanliness of the hotel. If anyone has problem with knees like me not recommended as no lifts. Internet most of the time not working. Breakfast was said on the internet continental there was bread jam butter one cup of tea or coffee. Very vaguely described. For this price could have got a better place.

Great location but a little noisy
The hotel is right by the night market so it can be a little noisy. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast wasn't anything wonderful so sleep in if you want to. The room was clean and appropriate for the price.

Thanks for Hotel Victoria. It is a nice place to stay. The room is clean, neat and tidy. The staff are wonderfully nice and helpful. Moreover, it is located in the town centre and thus it is very convenient to go shopping. The room price is of course reasonable and attractive. Sure, I will visit again.

這個飯店清潔度很差，枕頭很臭好像很久沒洗過的臭味，臭到都不敢用，馬桶蓋上面都是一點一點地好像吐過的痕跡，以後絕對不會住這家飯店。

Short stay in central location
I staid in KK for two days to continue travelling to Sandakan. The staff was helpful in organising a trip to Sumangkap which was the main purpose of my visit. Breakfast was ok, toast and watermelon with coffee or tea. All in all a convincing hotel for a short stay but I would not spend more than three nights there.

Clean rooms, no wifi and taxi scam
We stayed for two nights, happy with the location and a bright and clean room. Unfortunately their wifi doesnt work in the 3rd and 4th floor, so we did not get what we paid for. They seem friendly and offered to help us with taxis- be wary of this as they charged us double the prize and it is really easy to get a taxi yourself from the nearby streets.

Centre of the town, close to almost everything.
We were warmly welcomed the time we arrived in the hotel. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Even the management were nice and even gave suggestions on what to do and where to go in the city. Rooms are not so big but well mentained and very clean. Comfortable to sleep in with air con and tv.
