« Host was most helpful and accommodating. The room had excellent facilities, especially the shower. Only one gripe was the firm mattress which is probably good for most people but not what I'm used to. The location was excellent and central to some m ce walks and places to eat. »

« My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

« The cottage is within a short walk of the sea, the beach is accessible via a steep path after approximately ten minutes. There is a bench to sit on and admire the view of the sea if you don’t fancy the steep path. The cottage itself was spacious, 3 nice bedrooms with the comfiest beds I’ve slept in for a long time. A decent bathroom with a bath and overhead shower and wc. There is also a separate room with a stand alone shower cubicle. The kitchen supplies were brilliant with plenty of crockery...

« The property is in a good location close to shops and pubs. It was good to be all on one level especilly as we had two dogs with us. It has a good sized garden. The Property Management Company were very quick to answer any questions we had. »

« Everything we wanted and needed. 8 ladies celebrating a 60th Birthday. The barn is spacious, comfortable and homely. Perfect for a get together. The host was lovely and was willing to help and share her knowledge. There are clear instructions on how thiings work and dos and donts, which were useful. Absolutely no complaints at all. « We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that. »

« The property was lovely and tastefully decorated. It had what we needed and more. The views and proximity of the property surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed exploring Norfolk and all it had to offer, but also loved relaxing in the house as the views were lovely. Spent hours watching boats coming and going in the evenings. We also saw so much wildlife, such as deer, herons and birds of prey. Loved every minute of our stay. »

« Cottage très agréable, vaste et très bien équipé (il manquait simplement une essoreuse à salade...). Intérieur cosy confortable. Magnifique jardin parfaitement entretenu. Calme assuré, à l'écart des grandes routes. Très bonne situation pour visiter le Norfolk, le Suffolk et le Cambridgeshire sans faire trop de km. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement, un des plus beaux que j'ai connu (l'autre étant à Churchill, dans les Cotswolds). »

« Wonderful house in a perfect location. The whole family had a great time - brilliant well-equipped house, big garden ideal for playing in and sitting out in the evening watching the sunset across the fields. 10 mins walk to the sandy beach and then long walks to Waxham Sands to see the seals. Great coffee and cafe at Waxham Barn and wonderful pub lunch at The Nelson Head after swimming at Winterton-on-sea, another fantastic sandy beach. All in all a brilliant holiday. »

« We booked all of the cottages they were beautiful, very clean and amazing. The gardens were very secure so the small grandchildren where very safe which gave us peace of mind. The games room was good for all especially the Big Kids !! We will be going back and would recommend Fielding Cottages and the Goat Shed to all. Shop and cafe were also amazing »

« Our family’s stay was fantastic! We spent a total of 4 nights here and our stay was amazing, the house has easy access to the seafront and the high street which are all in a 5 minute walking distance which makes it a great place to stay for families, but just as a comment it could do with some grass in the garden for dogs. « Very helpful at reception. Nice and easy for walking in to town, railway station or stadium. Parking was off site but felt secure. Yes will stay again and probably with in the next month or so but taking more rooms as with larger family. »

« The cottage was lovely. It had everything you needed. The beach just 2 minutes down the road was brilliant. I took my dogs and they loved it. The people of Bacton were very friendly too »
