Une halte à Kingman (Arizona)
Hôtel choisi (tarif) comme base pour une halte à KINGMAN sur la route 66 et visite rapide des alentours. De fait, nous n'avons fait que la partie "Arizona" de la 66 : d'Ash fork jusqu'à la jonction avec l' I40 ( ça vaut le détour, surtout la partie dans la montagne vers Oatman. puis rapide incursion vers le lake Havasu. Sinon l'hôtel est comparable aux autre hôtels de même "catégorie"; Chambre dotée d'un micro-onde et, surtout, d'un frigo. Litterie convenable, cabinet toilette séparé par porte. Un bémol : le bruit de la clim pour le chauffage qui devient "gênant" en pleine nuit. Reproche : PDJ très maximaliste. En conclusion : hôtel pour une brève escapade.

Location was convenient, really liked the room amenities but then the body wash and lotion containers were either broken or empty, was disappointed in that because large containers attached to wall was a real good idea.

It’s more like a motel then a hotel. Hair dryer didn’t work, some power units didn’t work. Very noisy and Kingman is terrible. Never again.

A room with 2 beds requires an actual door on the bathroom. A sliding barn door is inappropriate to contain smell and steam from the toilet/shower area. It makes it impossible for one person to use sink and microwave while other is on the toilet.

There was an unpleasant old smell in the room. No one had lived there for a long time, there was a lot of dust, I didn’t want to touch anything. Breakfast was very poor. Before this, we stayed in the same hotel, only in the city of Paige. We liked it so much that we decided to book the same hotel in Kingman, but we were completely disappointed. This hotel is only worth 2 stars, not more. And we paid for 4 stars. We don’t recommend it.

We have been on the road for a week, on a budget trip, trying to stay at hotels under $100 a night. This was the only one that the A/C unit was quiet, everything worked, and the staff left letters on the furniture thanking us fir choosing them.

The front desk lady was very nice and helpful during check in and when I forgot my phone at the front desk, she helped me find it. The room was dirty and we only had half a roll of toilet paper and no hand soap in the room. The floor was horrendous and left our feet so incredibly dirty as if we had walked through a dirty field. We had to call and ask for extra pillows because we had an uneven amount of regular size pillows and what seemed more like decorative size pillows. Even though there are signs posted everywhere about no smoking near the rooms, the whole area smelled of cigarettes and the ground was littered with cigarette butts. Sadly, not a place I’ll be recommending.

This is an older converted motel property. That in itself wouldn't be too damning but there were a few other negatives as well. First, checkin took forever because they only had one person on staff and she was away dealing with a broken television when we tried to check in, forcing us to wait for about fifteen minutes for her to show up. Second, the floor in this room is cheap venial faux wood flooring and it is so filthy that our feet/socks were black from just walking on it. The rest of the room seemed clean enough and the floor had clearly been swept but I doubt it has been mopped in a very long time. Also, there is no hand soap and the no truly cold water from the taps. Finally, as is so common these days, there was no provision for us to plug our computer into the television so I had to resort to unplugging their crappy entertainment box's HDMI cable to plug in my own. That almost always works as a last resort in most hotel rooms but not this time. The TV is so cheap that it was unable to sync to my Mac's HDMI signal. I would recommend you spend a little more and go somewhere else. I'm glad we were only here for one night.

Our room had a broken hairdryer that kept falling off of the wall holder…it knocked a pill bottle on the floor; one wall plug didn’t work, the wall thermostat had the cover off and we couldn’t adjust the temperature; the cold water was mainly warm in the sink; room was unclean. Three garbage cans outside our room were full when we arrived…overflowing on the sidewalk and was not emptied when we left the next morning. Would not recommend!

Poor room service, only come through once every 3 days during prolonged stays. Ran out of toilet paper, and no stock in the room. Bed was also hard and uncomfortable, got headaches from the pillows, resulting in a disappointing stay. Walls are paper thin, got woken up by the tv next door early in the morning. But it’s cheap and the office staff are good. You get what you pay for.
