« We really enjoyed the cottage! My very tall 6’4 guys (husband and son) did have a little trouble fitting in the shower and were a little worried about getting water everywhere, but overall I would give it 5 ⭐️! « From the moment we stepped on the property we knew that this would be a place where we could relax. The home was very clean and had many supplies for us to use. « No luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field. The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family. »

« We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area. »

« My husband, in laws and our 2 year old son and nephew had the best time at Rick and Christine’s home. The directions to get into the house were clear, and the house was available many hours before scheduled check in. « We really loved this house. It met all our needs and then some. Very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. We did need to contact the manager of this place and she responded immediately. Met one of the neighbors and she was very nice.
