Convenient location, cheap price

Publié le 21 juin 2014
Location was convenient, and the price was good. However, the hotel staff competence varied substantially. After speaking with several people, the hotel staff made a couple critical mistakes that almost made me miss my flight. While convenient, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Room#1

Publié le 20 janv. 2014
Very nice to have a room on ground level , since there is no lift....but the room had window that was right off the center entrance / breakfast area...no room darkening shade.....the staff member preparing the breakfast was quiet enough but had I known.....also the very small bathroom has a column right in the middle of the bathroom....still...very clean room....bed okay......best thing is that I left a jacket and p jS.... and they had kept them for me....shalom to that.....otherwise being in a tight spot to find a interim hotel....was good....also the breakfast was plenty enough....thanks from the usa

Little House in the German Colony

Publié le 7 janv. 2014
Les + : the staff was very helpful and there was a computer available for guest use.
Les - : The building was obviously not constructed to be a hotel. There was a support beam right smack in the middle of my bathroom.
Situation : The location is excellent. The kotel and Old City are within walking distance. There are several restaurants to choose from, including casual eaterie
The staff members all speak English and were helpful. They were very familiar with Jerusalem sights.

Charming hotel in a nice area

Publié le 1 nov. 2013
Les + : Location, breakfast, comfort / design, value.
Les - : WiFi connectivity and speed.
Situation : It is walking distance from the Old city and various markets and bazaars. Many restaurants can be found by walking along Emek Refaim.
This was our first time in Israel. The hotel was difficult to find, and it didn't look very nice from the outside, but the inside was very nice, and it was nicely situated in the city. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bread, Israeli salad and hummus, cheese, cold cereal, yogurt, juices and one type of pastry. We would have enjoyed some fruit, but it was a reasonable breakfast. It was a wonderful experience overall, but the WiFi would frequently cut out, or be unbearably slow. This ultimately reduced our rating from a five to a four.

Stay away from room #1

Publié le 1 nov. 2013 sur Hotels.com
I think the hotel itself is a good value, but room #1 has issues: It's right next to the breakfast room, so it starts to get noisy around 6:15AM. Also there's an alarm panel directly across from the room that kept beeping in the middle of the night. The WiFi doesn't reach room #1. We checked out after 1 night from a 4 night reservation... but manager insisted on charging us 2 nights for a 1-night stay. Unhappy with that kind of attitude. That said, other friends who stayed there (different rooms) said that the place was OK for the price. It is really close to some good restaruants and shopping.

our latest trip

Publié le 31 août 2013 sur Hotels.com
We will return this February 2014 The staff were great, the room was clean, the breakfast very good and the location very central. The only down side was the occasional noise from down stairs night club, that stopped at midnight A reminder that Jerusalem begins to shut down at 2pm thru 5pm on Friday till about 1hour after sunset on Saturday. In other words stock up on food for Friday night & Saturday lunch

Nice neighborhood near cafes.

Small, quirky hotel with a very friendly staff and a great breakfast. Next door to a cinema/restaurant that is open on shabbat. Parking is difficult if you have a car.

Very hamisha hotel in great location

Publié le 18 juin 2013
Les + : The staff was very nice and the location is terrific.
Les - : ???
Situation : The location could not be better for our needs. A quiet location between two major streets, near friends, relatives, our school, synagogue and public
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff bent over backwards to please and the location could not have been better. We will be repeat visitors.

Close enough to walk to all sites

Conveniently located so most sites were not far away. Helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay very much.
