Comfortable and convenient stay
The property was perfect for one person with all the necessary amenities, and was very clean. Its located right on the beach and only a stones throw from restaurants and bars in Hopkons nearby. Peaceful, with clear communication with the property owner whenever I had a question or needed to book a taxi to the airport.

What a little gem we found. While there is a larger cabana in front of the one we stayed in, blocking most of the ocean view we could still see the ocean a little bit, and literally it was a two minute walk to the beach. The cabana itself was very comfortable with a stocked kitchen, good bed and clean room. Just felt very homey. We'd make a simple breakfast and enjoy it on the deck. The birds were fun to watch, and the sunrises amazing. Walking distance to town which had several restaurants. Certainly hope to be back some day.

Right on the beach. Staff went out of their way to help me with getting from the airport, excursions-which definitely helped because I was on my own and most excursion companies have a minimum of 2 people. I would definitely come here again.

4 great days in Hopkins
Cabin was exactly as advertised, plenty of room for 2, great water pressure, our host gave us good advice on local eateries and set us up with an outstanding snorkel trip with Patrick. Hopkins is a fantastic place, much more local flavor than the other seaside tourist areas.

Nice private cabana in the heart of Hopkins
Great communication with host, Mirko. Access and check in was smooth. We loved this cozy cabana. It was the smaller cabana on the property. Nice touch with the hammock and coconuts in the mini fridge. Though it was a bit tucked away from the beach, it is a very short walk (count about 30 steps). Walkable to shops and restaurants and ATM.

Cute little hideaway!
The cabana is adorable and has everything you need. The roosters crow every couple of hours throughout the day and night so earplugs are a must if you want to get some sleep. The bed is firm but not uncomfortable. Thongs cafe is right next door for breakfast and lunch and is pretty good. Also the Wi-Fi works great! It’s soo peaceful hearing the ocean waves while you’re falling asleep and waking in the morning.

Awesome spot but beware of the roosters! 🐓
Loved this little cabana which turned out to be the most spacious and well equipped we got to stay during our trip! It's right on the beach and close to everything in town. I just wish it was built next to the bigger Blue Moon cabana instead of behind it, so we would get even more views! 🏖️ We were provided with a big basket of fruits 🍌🍊 and two coconuts ready to drink in the fridge 🥥 which was a unique touch and really appreciated! But we had to get our own water and body soap - essentials that were included in every other place we stayed. Mirko is also a tour operator and made it extra easy for us to go on tours and schedule transfers. 👌 Last but not least, the 3 neighbor's roosters behave a bit differently from every rooster I met previously in my life and instead of crowing just before sunrise, they sing you the song of their people 24/7 and are especially vocal between 1 AM and 8 AM. They're often accompanied by dogs barking or crying. It's a blessing that the host provides earplugs which made the noise bearable but even then it took a few nights for me to start getting used to it.

Thank you guys, but you knew what you get into when staying in Hopkins Village, you had all the info. Hopkins is small fishing village, with chickens, dogs, roosters and so on. Our little baby blue cabana has all the amenities you need, if you want soap and drinking water provided, then you need to pay more or stay at the hotel or resort!

Beautiful little bungalow
Lovely stay at this bungalow for 4 nights. Very clean and well taken care of. Communication with caretaker was easy and he was very responsive. They provided earplugs which came in handy at night when there were some dogs barking.

Perfect Paradise
Belize was absolutely amazing and our experience was made perfect by the efforts of the property manager, Mirko, who coordinated transportation and provided a wide breadth of knowledge on the country, village, food, activities, and available transportation. We booked this trip expecting to do most of the work, however it was made exceptionally easy and we had the best experience of our lives!

We had a pleasant stay at the Baby Blue Cabana. We enjoyed using the kitchen and eating on the deck with a view of the beach. Cozy bungalow for two. Within walking distance of Hopkins eateries. The property owner helped us get transportation to local attractions.

Wir haben uns in der Baby Blue Cabana sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Sauberkeit war extrem gut, die Ausstattung der Küche und generell der Cabana war außerordentlich und hat nichts zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Viele Haken, Wäscheklammern, Geräte, Handtücher und und und. Dazu eine angenehme Privatsphäre inmitten des sympathischen Dorfes. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen :-) klare Empfehlung!

Mirko was communicative and met me for both check in and check out. The cabana is small but spacious and really had everything I needed for my stay. I loved my little porch and I could see the ocean despite having a larger cabana in front of me. Do Not overpack as you do need to carry your luggage over sand about 100 yards to get to your little vacation home. This was the neatest property among a beach full of cabanas as it was kept raked and free of ocean detritus/garbage. Hopkins is a small community without boutiques or shopping but perfect if you want to immerse yourself in a friendly-ish town, eat local cuisine and take long walks on thr beach! I rented a car so I was able to easily leave town for the day to explore. And yes, That rooster😂. Ear plugs are provided for those light sleepers.

Fun friendly little village
This place is perfect for two. Very clean and stocked with everything you need and a few convenient extras like a small cooler to take on your day’s adventure, yoga mats, extra towels for showers and beach, games and books. Property manager, Mirko was very nice and helpful and took time to make suggestions/answer our questions. The location is very close to bars, restaurants and grocery’s. But what comes along with such convenience, is noise. Loud late night music from the bar behind the cabana and some neighborhood roosters crowing were consistent during our 4 night stay so heads up if you are a light sleeper.

Thanks Sarah, we are glad you ejoyed the Baby Blue Cabana with all the ameneties. Our property description on our website, VRBO, Airbnb and Tripadvisor tells our guest that we are located in the village and that we have of course restaurants, bars, grocery store, dogs, chickens, roosters and so on. The village is not for everyone, thats why we have resorts outside of the village. We dont hide any informations about our loaction and surroundings.

In the heart of the village yet on the beach
The cabana was great for two people and the small kitchen was equipped with just about anything you’d need if you chose not to dine out (we ate out but enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning and cold beers in the evening). There is a larger cabana in front of this one but you can still see the ocean and catch the ocean breezes. Luckily the cabin came with earplugs - there is a loud rooster in the neighborhood who isn’t afraid to be vocal whenever it strikes him. The location was great - walking distance to anything in Hopkins. The grocery store and many restaurants are within a few blocks. And if you have any questions, Mirko, the property manager is very responsive. He can also arrange tours and activities in the area. The only reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars is because of that darn rooster. That’s not something that can be controlled but folks should know it can be a little loud.

Property was convincedly located just steps away from the beach. The bungalow was efficiently laid out. Frig, and kitchen items provided including coffee maker. Short walking distance to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Site provide information for many different excursion activities. Perfect for 2 people. Bliss at Baby Blue Cabana
For me, my stay at Hopkins was perfect in every way. My life is normally very hectic , so coming to Belize from August 4 to the 10th was extremely relaxing. Everywhere I went the people were warm and friendly. Hats off to Peer's Restaurant. The setting reminded me of my personal "Paradise" with the ocean views . I plan on coming back to Belize next July. I hope to rent the same property. Mirko is very knowledgeable and helpful concerning the Belizian culture. Thanks to the groundskeeper Angelo who schooled me in three kinds of coconuts produced there. I give a "shout out" the lovely English lady that also maintained the property.

Hello Roger, We operate vacation rentals for more then 8 years and always have enough towels in our units (shower towel, beach towel, face towel and hand towel) 2 each for 2 guests, plus spear ones! We also use a dryer for our lanudry! You only stay 3 nights and we replaced all the towels after your second night! I would recommend for your next vacation, hang up towels after use, if you leave them on the floor, of course they get an odor!

Best Vacation
We stayed at the Baby Blue Cabana for 6 nights and it was not long enough. Being in the center of town you are in walking distance to great restaurants and bars, evening entertainment and a thriving town. The Cabana is located in the middle of town so there is some noise but overall very peaceful. The people in town are friendly and the Hopkins Village felt safe even walking late at night. The Cabana is perfect for a couple, it was clean and efficient and has everything you need. The location was great, right behind the Blue Cabana, but you still have a view of the ocean, and sitting on the deck was very relaxing. The beach area and the ocean was absolutely beautiful. I was a little concerned that the Cabana did not have AC but the sea breeze, ceiling fan and free standing fans made the evenings very comfortable. Mirko, the property manager was there to greet us and is there to answer any questions, and help with tours or excursions. If you have any concerns, needs or questions do not hesitate to call him, he will do everything he can to make it happen. We will be back.

Perfect little getaway home
My boyfriend and I were so happy with this cabana for our 6 night stay in Hopkins. We had our privacy behind a bigger cabana, and when we walked outside to the beach it was always kept tidy and clean. The size of our cabana was perfect for the two of us! We did utilize the kitchenette and made coffee and food for ourselves when we could, we had the appliances we needed. I would stay here again when we come back to Hopkins! Great in town Cabana near the beach
My girlfriend and I stayed three nights and enjoyed it. Mike was responsive to any issues we had and the cabana is clean and efficient , has everything you need in it for cooking, beach towels for using etc. No air condition but the fan system was strong and adequate. Shower works great. Several good restaurants are in walking distance, the little private beachfront is serene. It is located in a thriving neighborhood, so if you are noise sensitive, occasion car noise, barking dog, normal town sounds will be there. Fair price for what we got. Motorbike rental place right down the road in walking distance was useful. We recommend.

Beautiful location and exactly as expected
Awesome little cabana with a comfy bed, shower, kitchen and porch with a hammock. The location is great for walking to everything in Hopkins. All the restaurants are close and the market is less than a block away. Making a pot of coffee in the morning and sitting is the beach is hard to beat. I have and will continue to recommend this property to all my friends.

No Blues with Baby Blue
My wife and I spent the last 2 weeks in the Baby Blue cabana. It was GREAT! more than enough room for two. Clean and very well equip with everything you will need. The location can't be beat, right on the beach and in the center of town. Mirko took very good care of all our adventure trips and is only a text away if you require anything. Hopkins village is very friendly and safe. The food was fantastic, try all the small local restaurants you won't be disappointed. Once I found Jimmy Buffett's lost shaker of salt the blender didn't stop

Thank you! Mirko definitely is a huge reason that so many guests love Blue Moon and Baby Blue. Being right on the beach doesn't hurt so much either :)

Not for me...Inconvenient and Noisy!
A cute little cabin but my first task was to drag 2 suitcases the length of a football field through deep sand since you can’t really park near the cabin. Some of the sand has trash including broken glass so be careful! I travelled 14 hours to get there and was looking forward to a good nights sleep but around 8 pm singing started over a PA system right next door and continued until midnight. Then at 3 AM several roosters started screaming and didn’t stop until well after 8 AM. Yes, the ad says it’s in the middle of town but I didn’t realize that the cabin has zero insulation and you hear everything above plus dogs barking and people talking loud and clear and I imagine everyone outside could hear us too so honeymooners beware.

Perfect!
We found everything we were looking for and more staying in Baby Blue Cabana. You're in the center of Hopkins village - restaurants, grocery stores, etc. - yet have complete privacy when relaxing on the porch no more than 50 steps from the sea. Hopkins village is a gem for those who are interested in taking in local culture. Locals are gracious in imparting the history of the area and the Garifuna people to anyone that asks. The nearby restaurants are excellent and we particularly enjoyed Luba - just a 5 minute walk down the beach. We also got delicious local dishes at Innies. Mirko and his staff are readily available if you need them for anything, including arranging any day trips, transfers, etc. Although my husband and I's many ambitious plans were thwarted by the comfort of lounging on the porch of Baby Blue enjoying the view. We did manage to get our lazy butts up for a fishing/snorkeling day with Lincon (phenomenal) and some tubing and hiking at Coxcombe jaguar sanctuary. There's a few other rentals we saw on our walks on the beach but Baby Blue was by far the best for it's location and privacy - not an easy combination to come by. Will definitely be back.

beautiful, well equipped, excellent location, perfect size!
Baby Blue Cabana is just the right size and location for relaxing and sporting beach. Mirko and his staff were helpful in facilitating a balance of adventure and resting on the beach. The porch was a great spot for breezy breaks from the sun. Worn out every day, we slept shortly after sundown to birdsongs.
