Jamais déçu
On apprécie le style à la française dans le service, la décoration des restaurants. La piscine sur le toit est très agréable. Les chambres sont bien et confortables mais rien de particulier à signaler. L'hôtel est très bien placé. Je l'ai utilisé pour plusieurs séjours pour le travail.

Worst 5* hotel in HCMC!
Very disappointing 5* hotel! The service is below expectations for such a brand! First the checkin clerk refused to change my room from a twin bedroom to a double-bed room pretending there is no availability! In fact he just wanted to up-sell me an executive room which costs 120 USD more per night!! The next day, surprisingly they can change my room, right after I gave a negative feedback about my checkin online! Doing this makes them lose all credibility!! Then, when I need an ironing board (which should be in every room), I had to call 3 times and waited for 30mins because I could get one!! Their excuse was they are “too busy” !! Really ? In a 5* hotel ?? This is not acceptable! In conclusion, I won’t stay there again and NOT recommended it to anyone! There are certainly much better hotels in HCMC for the same price!

Peut mieux faire
Hotel un peu excentre mais a faible distance de la Cathédrale. Buffet de petit-déjeuner assez correct. Inconvenient les enfants bruyants de parents (français ou chinois) qui semblent se ficher de déranger les autres. Repas de réveillon du Nouvel-An a l'Olivier assez inégal, Foie gras (en fait sorte de mousse) presque indigent, huitres OK, deux autres plats dont je ne me souviens pas et dessert quelconque. Vins servis avec beaucoup de parcimonie. Au total, un rapport qualité-prix décevant, le tout dans une ambiance de bruit d'enfants courant entre les tables.

Une touche française à Ho Chi Minh
Dans une ville en pleine expansion et qui s'enrichit rapidement, les hôtels peuvent facilement avoir un côté tape-à-l'oeil assez vulgaire. On appréciera ici une sobriété élégante où tout est parfait sans être exceptionnel (sauf la vue depuis le bar-piscine sur le toit terrasse). A deux pas du superbe Jardin botanique et à 5 minutes à pied de la cathédrale et de nombreux restaurants.

En dessous du standard Sofitel
Cet hôtel est très en dessous des standards de la marque Sofitel et quelque peu excentré. Nous étions dans une deluxe room au 14e étage. La robinetterie était de mauvaise qualité, les joints dans la salle de la salle de bain pourris et la moquette à l’étage dégage une odeur de vomissure. Le personnel ne parle pas correctement anglais et n’est franchement pas bien formé. Il n’y a pas assez de transats à la piscine et ceux disponibles sont vétustes. Du vieux mobiliers de jardin cassé se trouve dans un coin près du bar...Les deux seules choses qui sont conformes au standard Sofitel sont la literie toujours aussi confortable et les prix!!!

Très bien placé à Seoul, petites chambres pour du 5* mais à un prix OK (ce jour là?), bon fitenss centre avec une belle piscine et une grande salle aerobic/dance indispensable pour ma part. Dommage que le Lobby soit triste et étroit, la deco un peu vieillote et les restaurants restent chers, surtout le petit Déjeuner facturé à un prix anormal (comme très souvent) pour une prestation correcte.

Bien situé mais dépassé et vieillissant
Si le service reste agréable et professionnel, l'hotel meriterait un bon lifting. En effet les chambres standards et deluxe sont les memes (deco et superficie) seul les etages changent, les Deluxe sont en etages superieures. La literie est d'une dureté extreme... Du jamais vu! Les matelas sont pourtant epais mais on a plus la sensation de dormir sur une planche de bois, nous avons donc du faire avec, seul un surmatelas nous a été proposé puisque tous les lits sont identiques. Autre detail nous avions des draps grossièrement rapiécés... Nous avons donc choisi la formule Deluxe avec breakfast inclus et l'acces au club sofitel du 18e etage . Quel dommage que le niveau de qualité ne soit pas identique au sofitel de Hanoï! Cet hôtel dispose d'une piscine minuscule au 18e etage, disposant de quelques transats vieiillissants. Il ne dipsose pas de fitness room ni de Spa. Le buffet du petit dejeuner est très bien. Mais la salle de restaurant vieillote et trés bruyante. Séjour du Octobre 2013

HOTEL DE LUXE AVEC SUPERBE PISCINE
nous voulions pour notre dernière nuit au Viet Nam un hôtel de luxe.Le Sofitel est un très grand hôtel luxueux et raffiné.Le plus incontestable de ce lieu et vraiment sa piscine magnifique qui offre une vue superbe sur Saigon.Son spa est aussi très bien.Très bien situé, cet hôtel est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer.

Mon experience est positive bien qu'au prime abord j'ai été un peu déçu par l'accueil froid à la reception. L'hotesse était intessée à me vendre un "upgrade" avec supplement. Il faut dire que j'avais bénéficié d'une promotion: une nuit gratuite pour trois nuit achetées! autrement rien à dire: service impeccable. Autre dissonance: le prix élévé du buffet du breakfast (25 $) qui par ailleurs est excellent mais trop copieux pour ceux qui ne veulent pas trop manger. Il ny a pas de choix au restaurant pour un Pt déjeuner continental, alors que ce choix existe pour le service dans les chambres( 12 $): Allez savoir pourquoi?

KEEP OFF PLEASE, there are better hotels
Except the front office manager, nothing was good. Right from the front office staff who duped us to upgrade and gave us the normal room on a floor where construction and heavy drilling was happening and lies that it was happening in the other building and not this, as if we were idiots, secondly housekeeping was sent in the morning despite do not disturb sign to chase us out so that they can complete the construction work. Yes the front office manager apologized and was kind and nice, I blame the hotel. This is not a Sofitel standard hotel period. This is some ordinary holiday inn express.

Sofitel Saigon - first class hotel
An excellent hotel. The staff are amazing - so helpful and attentive. Obviously a great training programme and excellent work ethos. Great position in the city. Would have hesitation to recommend this property.

Club Floor is a nice upgrade
Perfect for short stay at Saigon, good location. Breakfast downstairs is very large, Club Floor offers nice food and cocktails in the evening.
