Pour dépanner une nuit !
Hôtel un peu vieillissant...pas vraiement de charme, ni de possibilité de faire sa propre cuisine. Il n'y a pas grand choix dans le quartier donc, ca reste une bonne option pour un arrêt d'une nuit au vi des tarifs mais pas plus. N arrivez pas trop tôt les chambres ne disposent pas d espace canapé pour pouvoir se détendre..

As we are a hotel and have 2 restaurants onsite we do not have cooking facilities in our rooms. Guests are most welcome to come to the bar to relax and unwind either sitting in front of our roaring fire or outside on the deck enjoying the views. Best wishes and safe travels Tracey

L’endroit n’est Pas extraordinaire et n’est pas bien repéré par le gps si bien qu’on a fait 50 km pour rien. Cela n’a pas semblé gêner la réception. Au niveau restauration c’est nul et ils ne savent même pas faire un bon café. Trop cher pour ce que c’est.

I will check with the Cafe & Bar Manager on whom has yet to receive the coffee training as this should all be up to date, if not then we will have another. Hotel parfait pour se reposer d'une longue route
Haas est un endroit de passage avant la visite des glaciers..l 'hotel est un peu retire avec peu d 'activite alentour mais la chambre est spacieuse. Une table dans la chambre aurait ete appreciee pour manger le petit dejeuner ! Le restaurant etait excellent et peu cher..

First hotel room in a long time where there was no fridge in the hotel room. Furniture was dated and marked, there was a smell in the bathroom and we couldn’t turn the heating off. The restaurant saved it, great food. Having stayed at Heartland Queenstown earlier in the week, this Heartland couldn’t be more different.

We do have fridges in our Queen Single rooms and are working on adding these to our room types. The motel is in a world heritage site but it really needs renovating. The staff were really friendly, nice and helpful. Lots of fried food in the restaurant. But the location is hard to beat if you are exploring New Zealand’s natural treasures.

Quiet unit. Tired decor. Old, very soft beds that made me feel like I was going to roll out. The attached restaurant had great food. Difficult to get staff attention at front reception .

Very pleasing view of open space from the room’s full length sliding glass door. We were fortunate to have a room aligned to view the open space.

We stayed here 10 years ago on a trip from the USA. Still very nice accommodations - great sleep (that’s always the real test!) and wonderful meal at their restaurant. We had the lamb shanks and … mmmm!! Took a drive out to Ship Creek and took a couple of the walks there. Lots of rain through the night, but we’re nice and comfortable inside. Hopefully it won’t be another 10 years until we return!

It is a motel...The accommodation blocks are fairly basic but don't let that put you off. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable. Whilst they appeared pretty much full, there was absolutely no noise. An unintended benefit is the site is quite dark and therefore the stars are amazingly clear. There is a restaurant and bar on site. The food offer in Haast village is pretty basic so the chances are you will opt to eat on site. The range of mains is good and the quality also good. Haast, I read, sees itself as a 'frontier' place. Certainly if you are visiting the west coast there are limited ways in or out. Haast is a good base, if you arrive from Otago, to begin your adventure heading north. And doubtless would be a good place if you were heading out walking or cycling locally. The staff were friendly and helpful and obviously work hard to ensure the rooms and meals are top quality. I would recommend you stay here if you are visiting the area or passing through.

If you like 1960s accommodations, this would be for you. I was lucky to get the room facing the field, beaut to look out. Bath towel in room is so frail, the linings are hanging out. We only paid A$154 for the night & not much around the area. Dinner has a few choices & the chefs were working hard with tour group as well. I definitely will not stay again. In fact cannot wait in the morning to get going.

Just bad. No heating, no phone, even though there is supposed to be one in the room. Terrible $26 breakfast of runny eggs and uncooked bacon. Thin walls, noisy. Was promised a partial refund which I never got. Manager blamed staff and said she would provide additional training, but really, it's a bad Hotel and responsibility of Manager.

Quite comfortable but was noisy as other guests came in. Mould in bathroom and spa leaking/not working. Meals at the cafe/bar were fantastic!!

Booked as the weather looked awful and we were glad it did as the raid would have wiped out our tent. Room was spacious and clean, no in room fridge as advertised but there was a fridge and sink at the end of the corridor. Comfy bed, good water pressure. WiFi was pretty dreadful, but this seems to be standard in this part of the South Island!

Large comfortable rooms, good bar and restauarnt in complex,good checkin and checkout. A few km out of town so will need a car to get there for alternate dining etc . Overall we were happy with our two night stay.
