Everything was good except for the thunderstorms. 2/4 nights had bad loud noises thunderstorms and lasted about 20 to 30 minutes long. It sounded like something or someone got so angry and fighting with each other in the sky. And because of that the power went out a few times, but back on fast. But we did enjoy the city. We did the limestone tour boat ride and city tour bus ride and it was fun. Food was amazing.

The rooftop pool and view from the bay view room was fantastic. We also loved the location a bit away from the main tourist area.

View from the room and rooftop pool were great. Everything was clean and the hotel seems new. We loved this area, but note it is not in the main tourist area. We walked into the neighborhood for dinner, really liked Mangos Restaurant. Rented a motorbike and had free parking. Very happy we chose the Watson.

The Watson was a nice place. It had a beautiful pool and amazing breakfast. Staff was very attentive. Location did not offer much but taxis were readily available.

Clean, modern hotel. Staff very helpful and always on hand. Fantastic infinity pool and bar. Great views of Halong Bay. We booked this as a base as we were not keen on the reviews we saw for the cruise boats that are the standard way to see Halong Bay, We found if you go to the cruise port in the morning you can book a day trip and see just as much of the bay up close. For us this seemed a better option, rather than rushing on and off a cruise boat with all our bags, etc. Food and drinks at the Watson were good and the breakfast which was included at no additional cost was excellent and international in nature. Something for everyone and lots of it. Rooms were very nice, Pay the small extra charge for a bay / sea view. The hotel should consider two chairs and a small table for the balcony area. That would have made it quite perfect. Would stay here again,

Nice stay with good view
I had a room with bathtub and it was a great stay. AC good, shower hot. The isolation against noise may not be the best, it's possible to hear people from the aisle and from nearby rooms. The roof top with pool is fantastic, gym is large enough. Breakfast fits the size and standard of the hotel. Friendly staff and helpful.

Great spot in Halong
We had a great stay at The Watson overall. The hotel feels brand new and is very quiet, comfortable and modern. The spa is excellent, with good treatments overall and a nice steam sauna area. The masseuse was on her phone which was not good and I hope management reinforces that its not acceptable in the future. The pool area is beautiful with a good bar and good service. The room is comfortable- we booked a luxury suite and loved the space it afforded. The only weird things were the bathroom had no standing shower- only a tub with a freehand shower handle which was not great. Also there's no balcony furniture? we ended up putting our chair outside so enjoy the view. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Stay with a Heartwarming Touch
Recently stayed at this fantastic new hotel, and it was truly memorable. The property offers modern amenities, spotless rooms, and a peaceful environment – perfect for a serene retreat near the cruise terminal. The standout feature was the courteous staff, especially Ms. Hanh, the office manager, whose exceptional service exceeded our expectations. The entire team's hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere. The well-maintained fitness center with new equipment provided a refreshing space for staying active. However, we missed towels, water, and disinfectant for equipment in the fitness center. While nearly everything surpassed our expectations, the spa lacked the cozy atmosphere we anticipated. The staff appeared new to their roles, yet they are hardworking individuals from rural backgrounds, often working on commission without a fixed salary. We encourage guests to use the spa, supporting the staff with generous tips and honest feedback to aid their professional growth. Despite the spa's minor setback, we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. With community support, it can thrive, and we hope future guests enjoy the warm hospitality and contribute to the dedicated staff's growth.

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The pool area and rooftop bar are absolutely amazing with a stunning view over the bay. The staff is the absolute nicest. Very helpful individuals, extremely friendly and supportive. The rooms are spacious and clean. The gym is also perfect.

Nice clean property with very helpful staff. Biggest disappointment was food. On arrival we ordered a pizza to our room and it was pretty terrible. The base had been baked to a crisp before any toppings had been added, which ruined it completely. Breakfast was also disappointing.

High quality hotel
A great new property and beautifully appointed. Super breakfast. Rooftop pool with stunning views. Very friendly and efficient service. It is in a quiet location which was not ideal for us. We would have preferred to be closer to the old city, but there are restaurants and a market close by. Grab taxi can take you anywhere!

Amazing experience
The Watson Premium Halong Hotel is a new, beautiful, modern and high hotel in Ha Long. The hotel has 25 floors. There is a Sky Bar and a pool on the 25th floor. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is an amazing view of the bay with islands from the hotel room on the 22nd floor. The bathroom is spacious, clean and offers a sufficient number of towels. The staff is very friendly and willing to help or advise. We asked for extra pillows and they brought them to us within minutes. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. At check-in, we received a "Welcome drink" at the reception. Breakfast offered a wide selection of food and fruit. Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience. I would love it if the breakfast was served till 10:00 instead of 9:30. As a European I like to sleep longer on vacation.

Really helpful staff! Nice hotel with great views of Halong Bay. Ceiling fan and strong aircon were great! Breakfast was great with plenty of choices of both Asian and Western food. Lovely rooftop pool too! Would recommend without hesitation.

Nhân viên front desk thì 7/10. Còn tất cả nhân viên còn lại thì miễn bàn. Vô nhà hàng buffet ăn sáng, nhân viên check-in nhà hàng gặp khách thì xoè tay ra lấy phiếu ăn, không nói 1 chữ, như thể khách đang đi xin đồ ăn của khách sạn Phòng thì không lau chùi. Bình đựng dầu gội với dầu xả thì rỉ sét (như trong hình) Khách của khách sạn thì vô ý thức. Đàn ông con trai thì cởi trần đi vòng vòng, con nít thì la hét, chạy tùm lum sảnh khách sạn không ai nhắc nhở. Khách sạn NĂM SAO này không xứng nhận sao 1/5. Quá tệ.

Excellent stay
The Watson was a fantastic stay for us - there was nothing that I didn't like about the Hotel. The facilities and amenities were in great condition and the location very convenient to shops and restaurants. We found the service wonderful - in particular Kacey in guest relations went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed. Her professionalism - excellent - she is a real asset to the hotel.
