It was quiet. Parking spaces are huge. For an older hotel, it didn’t feel run down and had no funky odors. The staff were so nice!! Hot Breakfast every morning. Saw one member of the staff wipe everything down (counters, door handles) during breakfast. And the coffee is good, they grind it right there!

Great affordable option. Beds/sheets very comfortable which is typically not the case in more affordable options. This is an older motel style site but it is tidy and clean. Staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast included. Easy drive to CB in the morning to ski.

My buddy and I were looking for a budget stay for our climbing weekend. Rodeway knocked it out of the park in value. Beds were very comfortable, room and bathroom were clean, hot tub was in-service, breakfast was timely and hot, and staff was friendly and attentive!

Convenient & cheap, nothing special
This is an older hotel that has had some upgrades from the newer owners. As with any older hotel, there are things that need to be fixed, such as the noisy bathroom fan, cover for the heater that wouldn't stay closed and subpar shower head/water pressure. The beds were pretty comfortable and the hottub is a nice amenity, although there was a sign that it wasn’t working recently. It was just fine while we were there, but could use a good cleaning as there was some algae building up on the sides. Breakfast is your basic continental, with scrambled eggs and sausage as your hot options plus make your own waffles, but my family said they were gross and the batter tasted something like pretzel dough and not waffle dough. A couple of options for pastries, breads, cereal, fruit and packets of oatmeal. The biggest negative is that some of the rooms share a back wall and on our last night, the back wall neighbors had an obnoxious, yapping dog that barked for hours on end. We called the front desk multiple times and were told we could move rooms to sleep for the night, but we'd been there a couple of days already and had a LOT of stuff in the room and it would have been incredibly inconvenient for us to move, either with all of our stuff or stay in another room without it, not to mention it was already late in the evening (bedtime) and freezing cold outside. Overall, for the cheap price, it was fine for a couple of nights and we would probably stay again in a pinch.

Great Value with fast and friendly service
This was an unexpected stay during a winter storm. Parker (?) at the front desk was amazingly helpful with info about what to find in town, how the road conditions were, etc. The room was great and the breakfast was appreciated. Overall it was a great value for the situation.

Slept like a baby.
Beds are comfortable especiallyafter a long day on the lake. Slept like a baby. The room was clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast area is clean and inviting. Its close to the lake, great perk. There is a small piece of metal that sticks out from the side of the boxsprings that cut though my pants leg when I put my leg down from the bed. Its really sharp and hard to see until you bump it. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Hotel Owner.
The owner was just helpful. There was a problem with our reservation that was created by Hotels.com. They did not complete our reservation. So when we got there was none for us. He did everthing he could to get us a room. And he just happen to have an early check out. So we did get a room.

The friendliest staff ever! We stopped here one night on a road trip and wish we could stay longer to pet the sweet grey kitty in the office. Close to food, shopping, and all the things you could do out here. There were so many deer around the area at night so drive slow!

The hotel manager treated me and my son very well, very friendly and accommodating. He was very nice and allowed me stay in the lobby after checkout fed me snacks and watched tv with his friendly dog while I wait for my son to finish his 50k marathon He’s the best of bestest hotel manager.

Good choice
Just a one-night stay en route from Grand Junction to Colorado Springs. The manager let us check in early and suggested a good Chinese restaurant in town. The rooms were clean and the property quiet. There was a nice continental breakfast provided, and we're glad that we stayed here.

i loved the attention and personal service, but seeing hardware, storage and other stuff sitting around the area lets me know that no one has ever stolen from this business and there's no attention to security. Please clean things up, lock things up and help us feel secure.

Staff were the most bubbly people I’ve met on my trip. The couple were covering the property for their son who they obviously are very proud of . Breakfast was actually great! Most places say you’ll get a breakfast, but just lie. This place had an actual hot breakfast with eggs and sausage. Was fantastic !

The service was awesome, everyone was super friendly. We're not super snooty travelers so we really appreciated the laid back atmosphere and the good breakfast. The only thing I would even mention was that the bed I had was too firm, but we'll stay there again when we visit.

The room was very filthy. The sheets and bed cover were stained and looked dirty. Walls were dirty and looked like something had run down and hadn’t been cleaned. Stains on walls and doors. Mold was in the bathroom. The chair had stains all over it. We were afraid to touch anything and brought in our own pillow and blanket for the bed. If it hadn’t been so late we probably would have requested a different room.

Comfortable, wonderful staff, Would stay again!
Wonderful front desk gentleman super welcoming, helpful, and kind. Our room was great except for the dirty bedding on one of the 2 beds. Also, the hot water was almost non-existent when showering the entire stay. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable after our long hikes.
