All is good except asking customer to top up holding credit amount when charges are being put to room ( dining etc.. ). Gave me the feeling that they are afraid you do not have money to pay after check out. I have never encounter such issue before when travelling in different parts China at those international hotel chain.

Extraordinario hotel. Moderno, grande, super limpio. El servicio es espectacular. El lobby-bar muy agradable. El pianista y la cantante que esta ahí por las noches muy agradable. Ojalá esto lo pudieran escalara a todos los hoteles de la cadena. Caro si pero vale la pena excepto por los precios en alimentos. Un bufette de cena promedio 60 - 70 US. Me parece caro. Great Stay
Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The property looks new, well maintained, and has a nice design. We were also upgraded to a river view room, and the view looks spectacular. Always loved coming back to this hotel at night.

5 Day stay during Interzum
Amazing experience. All staff was very courteous, well groomed and well trained. First moment into room, the curtains slides to the sides and a vista of the river from the floor 30 was a prize for me. BUT after one day, the weaknesses start flowing in which do not match the name of 'Intercontinental'. Rooms: Waste Baskets not cleaned everyday. Towel not changed regularly. Light of one bed not working. A bad smell probably coming from sewerage was spread everywhere in the room. Café Aqua: 3 broken glass windows were found and were not replaced during my whole stay of 5 days. Uncleaned utensils were found. Need special attention. Though staff was very nice but didn't know English. Some Suggestions for improvement: 1- An English language city map showing all gates of Exhibition center and the route to the hotel should be available. 2- A hotel card is needed. The current match box is too small and its color scheme makes it illegible. 3- Metro chart in English should also be available with the special mention of the hotel, exhibition center and other places of interest. 4- Please make some arrangement for city guided tour, on guest request. All this doesn't mean it was a bad choice to select the hotel. The Buffet was excellent with a lot of variety of food and the clear mention of the ingredients. The reception, concierge and the Taxi arrangements were fantastic but my above mentioned points need attention of the management.

Great hotel, food way overpriced
The hotel is very pretty. However, the restaurant options are very expensive and when they charge $35 for a burger, I expect it to be good. It was not. Hotel overall is good, but just find it annoying that that they need to jack the food and drink prices to such a high level and not deliver on the quality.

Stayed at the hotel for the Canton Fair in fall 2018. (Go nearly every year to the Fair.). Hotel had a free shuttle to the fair, but if the weather is OK it is not too long a walk, either. Hotel staff was really attentive. Health club was great. Hotel had free movies. My room was big, bed was great, bath was excellent, everything was very clean and quiet. Top level service, very nice stay.

Great for Canton Fair Attendees
This hotel is great for business travelers attending the Canton Fair. They have a short shuttle bus ride to the fair and it was always prompt and timely when I took it. Their customer service is great and every staff member is super attentive. The staff to guest ratio is really high and everybody is very polite and pleasant. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of Chinese and Western food. Their dinner buffet is EXCELLENT. Everything was delicious and they have the most seafood options I have ever seen. Their a la carte food items are so-so...go for the buffet! The rooms are very spacious with nice amenities. I did have an issue with the shower draining slowly if I tried using the rain shower head and the TV remote not being responsive but those aren’t dealbreakers for me. The only real downside is location. While it is very convenient for the Canton Fair, it’s also situated in a quiet/undeveloped area so there are no shops, etc. in the immediate vicinity. This was not a problem for me but for tourists who like to walk everywhere this location may be too remote. I would stay here again!

Very Luxurious
The price was expensive due to last minute booking so close to the fair date and proximity to the exhibition center but the staff were all very professional and polite made my stay that much more enjoyable

酒店硬件设施不错，但服务还有提升空间，好在提出意见后能及时更正。地理位置略偏，周边设施跟不上，比较冷清，租车会比较方便一点。
