Arrived late, was fairly easy to find. No issues checking in and area was quiet while we were there. Friendly staff and enjoyed our short stay!

Under construction

Publié le 15 juin 2015
Les + : Front desk attendant, breakfast, price, location
Les - : Smoke smell in non-smoking room, soundproofing, let people know it is under construction
The gentleman at the front desk was nice. The location was central. Only good things I can say. Was under construction. I had to say excuse me to get by construction workers hanging out smoking at bottom of staircase. My "remodeled," "non-smoking" room absolutely reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns on bathtub. It wasn't until I was ready to shower in the morning that I noticed the three dirty wet washcloths draped over the shower rod. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse I came back to the sound of a dog barking so loud I jumped thinking it was in my room. Nope, it was my neighbors and barked all evening sounding as if it were right next to me. Quite possibly worst hotel experience I have ever had in US.

Rough access to the hotel.

Les + : Not a lot.
Les - : Renovation and upgrades!
Situation : location is close to I85, but poorly marked. Lots of stuff to do on Woodruff Rd in Greenville SC.
The hotel has a rough and hard to figure out entrance/exit. The entrance is not clearly marked, nor is the location of the main office. I witnessed several cars pulling into the adjacent rear parking lot of a mall, only having to turn around and drive up the road, circle back and return or hop a huge curb. The rooms are much smaller than they look on the internet and for the price should include a fridge and microwave. The bathtub was gross with black stuff stuck to the base. I sure would not have paid that much if I knew beforehand.

Not up to the quality we expected at a LaQuinta. Locked out on our second day after paying for two nights and when this was brought to the attention of the front desk staff they were unapologetic for their mistake.

Les + : See above
Les - : Coffee pot
Situation : Many resturants, shopping center, and a Trader Joe's store
This hotel was convent for our weekend activities. Next to the interstate for going downtown to our meeting, next to many good resturants, and reasonably priced. Looked to be recently reformed and best of all the mattress was comfortable. That's important!!!

Hotel was in a good location however it was somewhat ran down and currently going through renovations. The hotel may be more updated in the future. Staff was very friendly. Prices are good for what you get.

Will stay again

We have stayed here before and will stay here again. The free breakfast is adequate but not great and the three small pillows aren't very comfortable.

Good location

Les + : The location.
Les - : Update bedding. Breakfast.
Situation : Close to interstates, Greenville. Many nearby shopping centers. Trader Joe's across the street.
Overall ok stay. Mattresses need to replaced. One bad night with guests fighting outside at 3 am. continental breakfast is mediocre. Worst coffee ever.

Easy to get to although it is challenging turning left out of parking lot onto Woodruff Rd. Hotel sits behind large shopping center which is convenient until the garbage men come at 1am slamming the dumpsters down. The building itself is quiet. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The room had minor housekeeping issues with stray hairs. The shower surround needs to be cleaned, cut out and regrouted. Also, there was some mold developing in bathroom ceiling corners, carpet was stained. Overall, it wasn't bad despite some of these issues. The beds were great and it was quiet and convenient affordable location. About 15 minutes to downtown Greenville - must see!
