Open bar was great. $7 for G&t hit the spot. Some of the front of house staff could be abit more willing to go above and beyond rather than giving flat out no.

The hotel is in a perfect location to walk to the beaches, restaurants, surf clubs & shopping centres. Our 2 bedroom apartment was reasonably modern considering the age of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean & the living area is surrounded by glass & had views over the ocean & towards the hinterland. It was very windy during our stay & the sound of the wind, even with the windows & balcony door closed, was extremely loud with the metal railings on the balcony sounding like a wind tunnel. The only other little issue was the wait time for the lifts - 2 lifts for a busy hotel doesn’t appear adequate. Anyway that wouldn’t stop us from staying again. Coolangatta / Kirra is one of our favourite places on the Gold Coast.

The apartment was so quiet inside, once the doors closed all outside noise stopped. The staff were lovely and chatty. The amenities were great but booked up quickly. Close to the shops. Lovely side view if the beach. The elevator took a long time to arrive so we generally used the stairs. We will visit again.

Most of the cafes downstairs are now closed, which is disappointing. Seriously need to do something about one of the elevators being out of order. It took so long to use it, and you could barely fit in, with all the other people trying to use the one that was working. We now don't need to wonder why this place was advertised at a reduced price, when main problems with the building aren't brought to your attention, before booking. Would have returned maybe ?

Great holiday experience for the whole family. Beach House has a great set-up for families with lots of options for the kids to help keep them active. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this to others.

Fantastic location and Big Apartments!
Loved the location with so many shops and restaurants so close by. Our 2 Bedroom Apartment was huge. Would definitely recommend. The only disappointment was the older blonde check out lady, she was pretty rude on checking out, she could turn people away with her rudeness.

Disappointing
Booked online .. room description had 2 double beds and 2 single beds Room had 1 double bed 2 singles and pull out sofa couch. Apartment was small and had cockroaches. Shower head didn’t stay up and there was no shelves in bathroom. No privacy on 1st floor and very noisy from traffic. Need to take you own towels if you want to use the pool facilities.

Nice Apartment , close to the beach
Staff at the hotel were very helpful, great spot opposite the beach and on the main restaurant/café strip. Building is a little dated but clean and everything worked. Close to shops and supermarkets.

Hotel is perfectly positioned to all facilities.
You can park your car and walk to everything you need. The Surf Club, restaurants, shopping centre and beaches are close by.

Nice accommodation that is close to everything that you need. The noise levels on the lower floors is a bit annoying but not too much of an issue really. Very clean and neat although the entrance area is let down significantly by the vacant and dingy retail area.

Great rooms, really clean and good for kids up to age 13, opposite the beach and walk everywhere. Only issue was the lack of service lifts so u have to wait a long time for one. We ended up walking up and down the four floors...

Family oriented Hotel
We enjoyed our stay.Our only Negative was a howling wind blowing by verandah all the time as we were located in that 'tunnel' that goes down from pool.

Two Night Stay at the Beach House Coolangatta
We spent two night at the Beach House in Coolangatta. I was nervous after I had read some reviews about being on a lower level that the noise was horrible. We were put on Level 2, and we had absolutely no problems with noise. The hotel room was very clean and quiet. All six of us slept very comfortably. Close to the beach and restaurants. Great location. We had a lot of fun. Only problem was the while on the lift it stopped and the sign said "out of order" and sent us back to the bottom. Scary moment for my daughter, but everything worked out. We would stay there again.

The worst stay at a hotel I have ever had.
The staff were friendly and the room newly renovated. However it was like a circus with people everywhere. My neighboirs were a bunch of young boys who partied all night with loud music. The room above were their friends and they sat on the balcony from 3pm until 10pm with loud music. Despite my complaints this issue was never addressed. I ended up packing up and leaving early. This accommodation is not for those who want to relax and enjoy a weekend away. Beware!!!!!

Noisy room with no view
Paid good money to stay at the Beach House. Ended up with a level 1 room. Might as well have been in the basement. Couldn't see the ocean. On one side had the kids game room and the public pool, and on the other side had the tennis court. Was noisy and not private. Worst room I have ever stayed in

Excellent location; close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the beach. Good undercover parking. The SLSC is right across the road (awesome views), as is an extensive beach walking track. We had a great walk south to Point Danger one day, and north to Kirra another. The restaurants immediately downstairs are very average and overpriced, but there is plenty of choice within a short walk. Our unit was nicely refurbished, very clean, and totally met our needs (just a short, unplanned stay this time). We asked for a low floor, which we got. We also asked for an ocean view, if possible, but were told that, since most of the units are privately owned (timeshare?) they are booked out well in advance, meaning the best ones go first. The games room downstairs is a great asset -- the table tennis kept my small son entertained on several occasions. We didn't try the sauna or pool, but plenty of people were using both, even though the weather wasn't great for swimming.

The rooms were very clean. Kitchen spotless. The service was fantastic no waiting for booking in even though there were a few people booking in at the same time. The games room area is great for kids & kid friendly. My grandchildren played table tennis, tennis & mini golf & went swimming. Had a fantastic meal & breakfast at the restaurants on premises and received a discount on meals.

DIssapointed there was no view. Were on the ground level next to the pool but for the price and a last minute booking I'm not complaining. It was right in the hub of Coolangatta and we had a great time.

Apartment size was perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals. Location was great, across from beach, local surf club, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.

Great spot, nice staff, clean and tidy, close to shops and beach, i bit noisy in the room we stayed at next to the hotel and the lift was slow and broke down but would stay there again for sure

Very noisy backpacker hostel/hotel next door
5 hours of thumping noise on first night from backpacker hostel next door. Notified front desk twice and was told they were aware of the problem but nothing they could do. Asked for a change of room but was informed none available. I suggested management might extend some form of gratuity eg a healthy discount on future booking but have received nothing despite assurances that would be considered. Unfortunately it looks like management shows little integrity. Pity because the beach facing rooms on the Eastern side and restaurants downstairs could make this a great spot. I'd suggest the rooms with balconies on the western (backpacker) side should be seriously discounted for weekend stays. Avoid rooms 201, 301.

Great Friendly Family/Single Accommodation, Clean
Close to everything you need, Shops, Doctors, Restaurants, Beach, Airport and Public Transport, so no need for a Car if you choose. Our unit was VERY clean and we only met HAPPY and HELPFUL Staff. With some daily activities planned by the Resort, you can enjoy doing things you have always wanted to try eg. Yoga, Paddle Boarding etc, plus they also will help organize/book for you, other Holiday/Tourist destinations available on the Gold Coast. The Shower is good with plenty of hot water, the Air-con worked terrific and the kitchen has all that you need if you choose to cook. I personally have nothing negative to say about this complex, and after staying at many other places on the Gold Coast during the past 20 years, this place is VERY High on my list of recommendations to anyone. I'm certainly looking forward my next stay here :-) Thank you Beach House Seaside Resort!

Hotel is ok, a bit aged and not quite the same standard as some other hotels in the area but was fine for the family and I.
