Les chambres très agréables , calmes . Eau et smarties . Gâteaux et glace fait maison disponible . Personnel discret, souriant et répondant vite à toute demande . Si je reviens à Glasgow je reviendrai au Grasshopper. C’est un hôtel exceptionnel!!

A hidden gem. Very central, right next to Central Station in fact, which might put some folk off. However the actual hotel is on the 6th floor of a property so is very quiet and feels away from it all. Room was airy and light, comfortable bed with good facilities. The shower room was small but shower itself big! There is a common area if you want, free cakes available, and interesting art-work (some of which is for sale). Breakfast was good and fresh. Only negative was the TV was a bit clunky and limited. Room had a ceiling fan, so temperature was easy to regulate. Make sure you read instructions for how to find it, and don’t be put off by some people saying the area is horrible - it’s in the centre of Glasgow, handy for so many places and for the station. Loved it.

In unusually warm and sunny weather the rooms were a bit hot in spite of 2 provided fans. If everyone arrives at once for breakfast the limited staff find it hard to keep up. But overall it is a friendly and modern place to stay, on the edge of Central Station and the free tea, coffee, cakes and ice cream is a great welcome.

Amazing hotel Right nxt to central station in the heart of Glasgow But because the hotel is on the 6th floor it is silent !! Staff are amazing And the sweets cakes and ice cream are such a nice touch !! You will only believe how nice this place is if you stay there ! Can’t recommend enough I was in Glasgow on business but will return with my wife !! It’s that nice

Grasshoppers is right bang centre of the Central station area. Shops and eateries are therefore bang on the doorstep. Don’t expect great views - this is Glasgow city centre - but you will get very comfortable, clean rooms with a convenient breakfast bar. Despite the hotel being adjoining the train station, I found it difficult to find! Perhaps a bigger sign would help.

In spite of this being on quite a noisy street at night, the hotel was a haven of quiet inside. Particularly as we were on the station side of the building. Free cakes, coffee and ice cream were a nice treat. The mattress was quite firm but that’s more a matter of personal taste. The walls in the hall and in the room were nicely decorated and adorned with original art.

Great location for those arriving by train at Glasgow Central - just a few meters from the eastern exit. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Free tea, coffee and cakes. Great breakfast. Local buses and taxis close by.

Staff was great and room very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. There was scaffolding in front of the building next door which made entrance tricky to find but not a real issue for us. We had a great stay.

Very well maintained and clean property. Customer friendly, willing to accommodate early check-in, arranging transportation and overall friendly. Bed was comfortable and there was a great shower. Also enjoyed the cakes and cupcakes.

Grasshopper Glasgow is unique in that it's an hotel within an existing old building. It's super clean, well run and ideally placed right in the very centre of Glasgow. It's within walking distance of all the train stations and bus station. It is in the middle of the busy city surrounded by shops, Street food eating, restaurants, bars and all of the city's history. A gem in the centre of a wonderful city. Can't fault it

This was our second stay in the Grasshopper. Room and bathroom were spotless. High quality bedding giving an excellent night's sleep.. Toiletties provided. Lots of little extras. Staff friendly and helpful. Security door staff on Duty. Downside was only teabags on inroom tray. No coffee, sugar or milk provided. Overall stay was very good and would stay here again

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The place is right next to the glasgow central station which made it very convenient to get there. The room is extremely clean. The host was an absolute delight! 10 on 10 recommend this place. Would definitely stay again when i come to glasgow!

Quite difficult to find property as on 6th floor of building. Very poor guidance at reception on arriving. Quite small room but very comfortable bed . Breakfast facility's very restricted with purely self service. Very polite girls in attendance, but lacking experience to clear tables and provide assistance. Waited 10 minutes for receptionist on checkout.

My friend and I enjoyed this property greatly. It's hard to find something so clean, friendly, and accommodating in such a central location. Elizabeth even printed us out a list of restaurant suggestions in the area that helped us a great deal for our brief stay. Would definitely stay here again as it's a steal for the price. The free pastries and ice cream was a plus for sure!

The hotel is unassuming from the outside, and with construction all around, I was a little worried. The sign outside is small. The location is awesome, right outside the train station in downtown Glasgow. When you enter the building, you have to go up to the 6th floor to get to the hotel…different. Once you get there, the reception area has cakes, which is a nice touch. The room was fairly spacious (I got upgraded to a double), though it looked a bit austere. Everything was clean, and the shower was nice. The TV only had a few channels, which was frustrating because there was a soccer match I wanted to watch. Breakfast was a buffet. The fruit salad was really nice, the hot options were fine, but the pastry was a day or two old. There was a bit of street noise at night, and construction noise in the morning. Overall it was a good stay for the price, and the location is super convenient.

Very nice property & quiet. Bed was comfortable, shower was very good. Breakfast wonderful. Good location, walkable to everything needed including trains & buses. Could use a few more TV channels but this isn't a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

Incredibly nice kitchen staff, free ice cream, biscuits and cakes for guests, very clean, good beds, good breakfast, great starting point for sightseeing. The neighbourhood right next to the train station can be a bit noisy at night though.

The location to the train station waa fantastic its so close to everything no need fr taxis., The facilities in the room were amazing a full size powerful, hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, iron available, really comfy beds. There was free cake & ice-cream available during my stay which was lovely comijg back late & have cake and tea in the sitting room. Finally the staff are lovely happy to chat & answer questions everything was fantastic, will definitely return in the summer.
