"We arrived at 5.15pm and found the doors closed and a sign on the door with a telephone number of the owner to call for arrivals after 4pm. We called the number and left a message, left with no option but to wait outside in a cold January day with a child. The owner called us back only 1.15h later!!! "We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B just outside of Rochefort. The couple who runs it greeted us warmly and made us feel immediately at home. The room was comfortable and spacious and the house itself is light and friendly with a spectacular view looking over rolling hills onto the town's cathedral. "No community place to get out of the room, Bed was on the floor, made it difficult to sit on."

"Amazing cabin by the river, everything we needed and super cosy warm with the wood burner. Instructions about the property were perfect and covered everything we needed, easy to find. Location is very quiet but within a short drive of a number of towns with everything you need, plus a number of supermarkets. Loved this place, hope to return soon."

"The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting.
