Hotel propre et moderne. Chambre tres bien equipee. Petit dejeuner copieux et varie sous forme de budget. Localisation centrale, dans une des rues ou l’on trouve du street food. Piscine petite et peu de transats, mais tres peu frequentee donc ça n’est pas genant.

値段相応、周囲も特に危険は感じない。朝食はビジネスホテルと言う感じで、味も悪く無い。人によっては少し館内の匂いが気になるかも。近くの24時間コンビニは便利だし少し歩けば美味しいレストランや屋台に行ける。泊まるだけで多くを期待し無ければオススメします。

Bedding was terribly dirty with stains and yellowing. Towels with frayed edges. Breakfast selection was pathetic. I was looking forward to end of my trip and check out.

Pleasant stay with good customer service
Great location. Accessible to many amenities - local food, massage, cafes. Was upgraded to a suite which really made my day. Counter staff were helpful and accommodating. Facade was a bit deceiving Cz it looks slightly rundown.

The breakfast spread was limited and food is not worth the extra amount we paid! The coffee jar was very dirty and the bread area is not clean too! But I have to give credit to the front desk staff and all others working there, they are super helpful and helpful!

It is a walking distance like 10-12 mins to Gama shopping center, KOMTAR, 1st Avenue and Prangin Mall. The durian stall is just nearby the hotel near the main road. There is an open concept chinese hawker stalls which operates after 5pm till 11pm. And surrounded by Chinese restaurant. (Probably it suits to those Non Muslim hotel guest or the non halal food consumer.) The hotel swimming pool located at L3 is only suitable for kids. It is just a small pool, water height is around 1.5m. The setback is that, the management should re think about the comfortability of the guest while in the room as well. The water pressure in the shower and the water tap in the toilet, is very weak. I believe the the management instruct the maintenance to reduce the water pressure to save water. This cause a bit discomfort for the guest like myself whom enjoy strong water pressure while taking a shower.

for those that like to walk - this is located somewhat within a 30 minute walk to the farthest site in Georgetown and within 5 to 10 minutes of local night street food stalls ; property lobby is nice, though rooms are dated - however, quite large compared to other asian hotels and is well lit with lights for also every corner of the room and lots of storage !!

Great hotel is a good area.
Stayed at Sunway for 3 nights, very comfortable hotel.only disappointing thing was that they didn’t have a bar.

Give other hotels a try
Travel to Penang a few times a year due to work and wanted to try a new hotel and chose Sunway. Unfortunately, I felt that based on their prices; travellers can get much better services hotel. Staff service quality can be improved. Room has pest ie ants and lizard. Bed sheet has stain. No food offering in the hotel lobby outside of meal times
