The room was not welcoming at all. There was a hole in the sheet rock in the bathroom. The shower was a hole cut in the tile of the shower leaving a gapping hole. The shower had a shower pan and the shower curtain didn't go down far enough so was pooled outside the shower when using it. Entire bathroom was in loor condition. Vanity looked terrible and was starting to come apart form the wall. The night stand was missing the side trim, top was terribly scratched, and frint was delaminating. Terrbile lighting in the room and the refrigerator smelled terrible.

It’s just ok
The room looks nothing like the pictures. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the shower didn’t drain leaving you standing in water. The toilet seems like it’s loose from the floor. There was stains on the blanket and a few of the towels. The breakfast is the standard free breakfast no complaints. It’s convenient to down town. We also got locked out our room a hour before check out with all our belongings inside. Took 30-45 mins for us to get back in after waiting on maintenance to come.

The AC/Heater didn’t work the first night. The plug ports in the room didn’t work. The “Breakfast” they offered in the morning was leftovers from the last morning. The frozen sandwiches were left out for days which I’m pretty sure is a health code violation of some sort. The milk was spoiled and left un-refrigerated. The shower curtain wasn’t keeping water from flooding the bathroom. The only saving grace was being on the strip at gatlinburg so we didn’t have to stay at the hotel. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Staff wasnt very welcoming and didnt go out of their way to provide ANY service. No maid service or fresh towels unless requested before 10 a.m. Rooms appeared clean, but, havent been really cleaned in a while. Continental breakfast food was cold and not a large variety of anything. (We opted to eat out for breakfast instead.) The heat/ac unit in one of our rooms didnt work properly (it was 30 degrees during our visit, so heat was important)its kinda far from the majority of things on the strip. The best part of the hotel was the view from our rooms. We were in the 2nd building on the top floor, facing the strip and national park. Id stay again for a cheaper rate. I figured it'd be a little nicer for the price we paid. And for it to be a brand name hotel, lackluster is the best way to describe it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Clarion Pointe Gatlinburg. The room was clean and the location was just great. The breakfast each morning was really good as well. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in Tennessee. And I am so thankful for the honesty of the staff because for some reason I left my 7K wedding band and my Tag watch at the hotel room after we checked out and I was able to get it back. Special mention to Ezekiel who is very helpful each time I call at the reception. Thank you so much!

Great stay.
The room was very nice and clean. The view of the city was great. Breakfast was amazing and better than expected. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the best place to stay. You have to walk around the side of the building up an incline to get to the elevator. Your car can take you there but the parking would be limited. We had no problem with it, just thought I would mention it.

Our stay was horrible from the moment we got there. Front desk and staff was very unapproachable and unpleasant, the room we got was still under renovation, super dusty, no mirrors, microwave didn’t work, no hot water. Thumbs down for this hotel. Not because of the hotel but in all honesty the staff. Even the lady in the front in the breakfast area was super rude.

We were hesitant to stay here bc of recent reviews, but we took a chance and actually are planning on coming back and staying at this exact hotel. I think the fireplace in the room gives it a good touch. The Only thing I felt needed improvement were the pillows. They look really old and really used) Other than that I will say the rooms were very clean. (I have a cleaning business, so trust me I know what all to look for when it comes to to cleanliness) we will definitely be back!

Do not stay there
Would not ever stay there again. Room only had a bed and a tv. No chairs or any thing like that. Was not even busy and put us in the second bldg top floor at the end. No reason we couldn’t have stayed in front bldg since they weren’t busy. Very rude

Did not stay. Switched rooms after finding that the ceiling was stained and peeling off from water damage in the bed area and bathroom. The room was so sprayed down with air freshener, I’m sure trying to mask the smell of musty water damage or god knows what else, that you couldn’t breathe. Switched rooms and still not okay. There were hairs and some sort of crumby substance on the chair in the room and what looked like a damp stain where someone’s crotch had been. It looks like they have tried to make this place better but took a picture of one the rooms that looks decent. Walking into the lobby, you would think it’s going to be nice; but it seems they spent all the money there. We couldn’t stay and had to leave.
