Nice place in Sea Isle
This house is accurately described in the listing and I agree with other reviews. The house is located conveniently in Sea Isle and on a canal. It has a nice outdoor area and is close to the marina. The house is the best stocked house I have ever rented. If you have the opportunity, you should eat at the restaurant in the marina. Thanks for making this house available.

Extended weekend with family and Ironman Texas
We rented the house for the IronMan event. It was a great location. We had (4) adults and (2) dogs, and the place was perfect. The covered lower deck was ideal for relaxing in the mornings and evenings. Having beach access just across the highway was awesome. I'd definitely rent this house again.

we had a wonderful time. It was is a great location and fitted our needs very well. Nice large deck with table and chairs that made being outside enjoyable. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. We would stay here again.

Loved it
The property was great. It was so relaxing sitting right by the water. The outdoor space was amazing. Inside was great. Clean and functional. We had dogs and the yard was fully fenced in and had plenty of places for them to run and do their business. Lee was a fantastic host. He would respond quickly when I had questions and even made the drive out to replace fhe vacumm while we were there. We booked the house on short notice and I would absolutely recommend staying here or at any other properties he may host.

It was a quaint and peaceful spot. My husband wanted to fish the camel however the morning after we got there it was low tide and all the fish go out with the tide. It was low the entire week

Great, as always!
This was our 5th time to vacation here. The fishing was not good because of a weather system. But we had fun just relaxing, visiting Surfside jetties on one day. The wave action there was incredible! We enjoyed a very good meal at Katie's which is close to the cruise line wharf. Be sure you have reservations if you go. The Railroad Museum is a fabulous place to visit and see the old trains. They are doing a Polar Express cruise during the holidays. Our dogs love this property, although we had to teach our little terrier how to use the stairs. She caught on after a few false starts.They love to walk through the neighborhood on their leashes. No worries of loose dogs or unsavory characters. A good time was had by all and we will be returning next fall. Thank you Lee!

Awesome Canal Home
We really enjoyed our stay at this home, very clean, great outdoor area to sit and relax both on the upper deck and the lower patio area. Very quiet safe neighborhood, good for morning or evening walks. We will visit again.

Johnson Getaway
Overall our experience was great and everything was setup as stated in the VRBO description. If we had to say anything that could use some improvement, we would just say the interior of the house could use some minor updates and a a fresh coat of paint. The property is in a good spot for fishing the canal. Thank you Lee for being a good host and allowing us to stay a few days.

Anniversary trip
We enjoyed Casa FRIO very much. Clean, peaceful, on a canal, green lights for fish. We saw a lot of fish! Brought our kayaks. I liked sitting on the deck and swinging in the swings. House was well stocked with necessities. Lee was prompt in answering every question we had. Loved having the fenced yard. Would definitely rent again! Bay and beach were both close! Thanks Lee!

Very relaxing!
Great property for the husband and I to relax. Quiet neighborhood, loved hanging out by the canal. Close to the restaurant, bait shop. Loved the neighborhood pier at sunsets. Short drive to the beaches! Recommend as a great getaway. House had everything we needed.

Mini vacation
Stayed 3 nights. Would definitely stay again. Rented kayaks from place near by that delivered. The canal was awesome with the lights at night in the water. Very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed all of the outdoor space. The marina is walking distance and the private pier was great.

Great place to stay
The house was very comfortable. It is you need to find a place that allows someone to use the lift for their boat that helped me a lot with fishing leaving it in the water always left a dirty water mark. The only issue was the garbage cans were full lol we got there. The issue with ants coming from the electrical socket that was mentioned in a previous review was still there. The owner was very very responsive. Immediately responded to any email. The only thing we would add is maybe it needs a freshening up from the baseboards

Everything with accessing the house was easy and the house was stocked with more than we expected! Boat house worked perfectly with our fishing boat and there was plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs for everyone. We didn’t bring our dogs, but this place is very pet friendly! Dog bed and lots of dog bowls downstairs.

Mismatch house
Hello! We stayed her for the weekend. The house was what we needed, but there were a few quirks. I assume with the home being pet friendly, some may not clean up as they need to. The bunk beds were not cleaned and smelled like dog pee from previous renter. We had to use the beds because we ended up needing to separate our dogs for the visit. The couch left black remnants on my kiddos and we assume it came from the arms of the couch. Lee was great as an owner in communication about early check in, etc. when we left there were fire ants coming from a plug in the kitchen. We did not complain to him during the stay, but did let him know our concerns when we left. I would say if the Lee does not do checks at the home often, he should start. Also, the desk upstairs was nice, but the corner furthest from the house was wobbly but I am not an engineer to say if that is normal in a canal home.

The whole rental process from start to end was easy! Lee answered all my questions quickly and was super friendly! He gave us great directions on how to get to the house and what we should do for check in and check out. Also, we were so happy to see how welcoming it was to our fur babies! There are water and food bowls along with a dog bed! I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone! Thank you Lee for a great experience!

The property suited our needs for this year Very well. Jet ski lift was handy. The beach wasn’t too crowded & the people there seemed nice. Well equipped kitchen. Neighbor “John” was nice & helpful. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Best vacation to date
Wow!!! Best vacation ever. I am a typical tourist. I love to go and explore. My hubby is the complete opposite. He wants to relax.. this rental was the best of both worlds. Fishing made his vacation perfect. The pool & beach the kids loved. The outside entertainment area was my fav. Far enough from the city for my hubby to be happy but close enough to all the attractions for me!! We will be back!! Also…every other rental I normally have to buy out needs…this was stocked with laundry pods, dishwasher pods, trash bags, toliet paper…15/10 recommend!!!

Great beach house!
Our stay was exactly what we needed as a family. - great place to hang out and come home to after a day at the beach. All the amenities were great and my kids loved the little seashell bowls! The canal was beautiful also. And we loved the Sea Isle neighborhood. The master bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on also! Thank you Lee for a great stay. Highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway
This property was perfect. Tons of outdoor space with a dock for fishing. Friendly neighborhood with its own bait shop, restaurant/bar. We spent majority of our time on the downstairs deck. We will definitely stay here next summer. Lee is a great guy and he responded quickly to every email.

Great vacation home!
This vacation rental was perfect, just what we were looking for. Our dogs had a blast, one of them discovered a new love of fishing, as my husband caught quite a few there in the canal. The house was well stocked and the furniture and beds were comfy. The up and down patio / deck were set up for entertaining. The beach access was just across the main road, so it was a quick trip to get our toes in the sand. Would definitely stay again.

Great views
Such a relaxing outdoor space with beautiful views. Our dog loved the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was well stocked (that’s a nifty little pop up/toaster oven) and there were plenty of extra paper products. Our bed was nice and comfy too. Super relaxing stay.

House was stocked with more supplies than any other rental we’ve stayed in. It was nice to not have to bring toilet paper and paper towels. Very relaxing outdoor area with fenced yard.

Clean & relaxing! Owner is super responsive and flexible. House was perfectly stocked with necessities...paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, spices, utensils & dishes. Great place.
We stayed for a month and it was great. Inside: exactly as pictured, nicely decorated with a beach theme. Beds were great, sheets were soft & towels were fluffy. Kitchen was well appointed. Outside: as pictured; really nice space. We didn’t have a boat but it was fun to watch the ducks & fish. The canal is perfect for kayaking & paddle boarding. Lots of shade & seating. Nice grass & sturdy fence for pets. Neighborhood: asphalt surface was perfect for biking & walking. Gulf is 7/10 mile away, bay views (not access) are 3/10 mile away. You can easily cover 15+ miles in the neighborhood without reaching the main road. Tennis & pickle ball court was recently redone. Owner: very responsive & fair. We prefer dealing with a direct owner like Lee instead of a corporation. This property is about 30 minutes from most shopping & restaurants. It’s exactly what we had hoped for; you just need to plan your meals accordingly. Thanks Lee!

Relaxing Place
This place is awesome. Well appointed and perfect place to relax. Sit on the porch swings, light the fire pit and watch TV. Fish the under water lights at the house or go to the private peer. Bait shop is close by with live shrimp and boat launch. The inside of the house is clean and crisp and everything is like new. The neighbors don't seem to live there so we felt like we were the only ones around. There is enough privacy, even when they were there and outside, we still felt comfortable and separate. If you have a boat you can leave it in the water at the house. I will try to stay here again on my next trip.
