« Such a lovely property. Our favorite part of our stay was sitting on the back patio. Do yourself a favor and make time to be outside at early morning as nature is waking up, at sunset to see the colors of the sky, and again after dark to stargaze. All the stress will melt away. We would definitely stay here again. »

« It was Different very cabinish clean comfortable bed ! The internet two complaints I have if you turned on the electric space heater it blew the fuse every time after the 5th time gave up! it was cold 42 outside so! And the exit to outside was thru the bathroom so if somebody was in the bathroom you could not go in or out ! »

« A perfect location and great accommodations. Comfy queen bed, hot coffee, microwave, frigid, and gas BBQ, if so inclined. The hosts provide a great orientation and offer a deep history of the property. In addition to suggestions nearby sites well worth the visit. It’s a great opportunity to learn California railroad history and see for 1st hand just how important early California commerce was, and still is. A great family experience. 5 stars »

« My husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. My daughter has also been asking to go camping for at least a year and we weren’t ready to buy all the equipment. This was the perfect way to get the camping experience without the commitment! The view of the river and the mountains was breath taking. The restrooms had real toilets and were immaculate. « It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views. »
