« A beautiful countryside setting. Lovely views of Noto and a very tranquil property. Lacked some touches though, which could have made it truly luxurious. Rooms are nice but quite basic. Breakfast is average (cheap juices, imitation corn flakes, etc) and if you're not there by 9.20 the staff stop replenishing items. One guest asked if there was any more ham being brought out at 9.30am and the staff member just shrugged their shoulders. Overall though, a solid choice but not quite luxury. »

« Firstly no signage door open but waited in lounge for 2hrs for somebody to attend reception to check in . He wasn't expecting us (only had bookings from booking .com). Room small , shower in corner of bathroom with a plastic curtain . No glasses in room took glasses from behind bar as nobody about to provide. No trace of property on trip advisor nor a website I won't make that mistake again »

« Hotel is fine(ish) but let down by the staff. Room was freezing. Went to eat but they had a big party in so had to wait longer than originally told. So thought I'd have a drink at the bar, stood there for 10 minutes with nothing happening whilst the receptionist smiled at me every now and again. No attempt to find where the barman had disappeared to. Service in the restaurant a bit haphazard too. Showing my ago but left with the impression I'd just visited the Crossroads Motel. »

Ideal position to visit Siracusa and the Baroque towns of Sicily. The final 300 metres of unmade road are not a problem. You'll sometimes hear the local dogs at night - they seem to communicate from farm to farm!- but I assume this is rural Sicily! »

« We stayed at the villa for two weeks for a family holiday (2 adults and three children). The villa was great! Amazing and well-kept garden with a huge swimming pool! The villa is situated outside Floridia (approx 5-10 min drive) where there are shops and supermarkets. It was close by car to several great places to visit, Syracuse, Noto, Avola, Ragusa, Marzamemi, and our favorite beach in South Sicily Spiaggia Carratois. All these within 20-60 min drive.
