Les + : l’endroit est magnifique , très bien localisé Les - : le service est pas terrible , l’équipe de la restauration pas simpa , on entend les trains et l’autoroute depuis la piscine ce qui est dommage car elle est magnifique. Nous avons réserver une grande suite pour pouvoir séjourner mon maris et moi avec nos 2 enfants ( 5 ans et 2 ans) . La suite contient 2 chambres soit 4 couchages…450€ la nuit et ils nous on fait payer un supplément de 90€ car nos filles n’était pas mentionnée sur la réservation. Pas super expérience pour nous ce qui est vraiment super dommage car l’endroit est vraiment idyllique.

Lugar mágico, um borgo do século XII minuciosamente transformado em um hotel de charme, um lugar de muita paz, algo parado no tempo. Espaços lindos, café maravilhoso, quarto imenso!!!!

Splendido recupero di una vecchia masseria, fatto cercando di mantenere tutte le caratteristiche che possano portare il visitatore in un luogo caratteristico, che include anche una piccola chiesa sconsacrata ed è circondato da meravigliosi ulivi secolari. Stanza grande e spaziosa, in piccole strutture staccate dal corpo principale e con un'area esterna dedicata. Personale gentile e professionale. Sala colazioni molto bella (ma vale la pena fare godere del sole pugliese nel patio esterno!) e ben fornita di prodotti freschi e locali. Al vostro arrivo vi attenderanno delle friselline con olio prodotto dal Borgo.

One of the best Masseria you can imagine
Beautiful Masseria! We stayed there say after amour wedding and it was perfect. Food is amazing! only negative thing was that room was bit cold, we stayed in late October. will be coming back in summer. Overall, one of the best Masserias I have ever been to.

Affascinante location storica in masseria del 1600 immersa in una tenuta di ulivi secolari Bellissimi gli spazi comuni e stanza spaziosa e pulita. Piscina favolosa Personale competente e gentile Lidi attrezzati a 10 minuti di macchina Cena solo con menu fisso non memorabile Consigliatissima

Soggiorno in Masseria.
Masseria molto caratteristica, con ristrutturazione che mantiene molti elementi originali.Camere confortevoli,con aria condizionata datata, come anche le sale comuni e la piscina.Comoda la palestra, che andrebbe completata con 1 o 2 macchine cardiofitness . Molto buona anche la colazione.Posizione ottima per raggiungere sia le spiagge sia i centri più caratteristici, tutti a pochi km.

Quiet retreat like setting. Beautiful grounds with unique flowers and olive groves surrounding property which provides a 2km biking/running path. All the rooms are different and the staff very helpful. Located in a central area for easy day trips around the area. Would stay here again.

When choosing agriturismo in Italy we always look for nice places to stay and where we can have dinner. Borgo San Marco is a wonderful place to stay, but an awfull place to have dinner. To start positive; the location is splendid, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is very good, the people are very friendly. But the dinner, a set menu, is completely the opposite. Simple, badly cooked dishes at a very high price. A few examples; Asperges that are overcooked, spaghetti that has to be done again because it too hard, a tasteless chicken drum stick as secundi, profiterol dripping in chocolate sauce as dessert and fruit that is forgotten. This for 40 euros per person.

Not what we were expecting!
When given our rooms keys we were introduced to a member of staff and advised he would show us to our room. We were a little confused when we were taken back to our car and he indicated to us that we were to follow him in his car. Thinking we were just being taken to another part of the main hotel it was a surprise to drive 600 metres along a dusty track through the hotels olive grove to an isolated outbuilding. Although the suite? was ok it was set up for four people and therefore cramped with nowhere to sit comfortably together, the bathroom was painted dark grey with hardly any lighting and even though a kettle and coffee maker were provided you had to buy the water from the mini fridge to enjoy a drink as the water in the room was completely undrinkable. The was no wifi, no mobile phone signal and no hotel phone to contact reception. We drove back to ask to be moved but were told that due to a large group this was not possible. However a discount was readily offered which leads me to think that this was not the first time complaints had been made. It would seem that there are several of these outbuildings being used as rooms so unless you are happy to drive to breakfast, the pool and other hotel facilities make sure to request a room in the main hotel when booking. I could not see mention of the fact that you may not be staying in the main hotel on the website so beware!

Confort e relax
Ho prenotato una notte in questa struttura per una mera contingenza (una coppia di amici si sposava poco distante da lì), ma ho trovato un tesoro. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile e ti dà una mano coi bagagli sin dal tuo ingresso nel parcheggio. La stanza è molto carina e confortevole. La struttura è splendida e molto curata. La colazione è ottima e abbondante. Ho anche usufruito della spa (molto bella, unica pecca l’acqua della piscina era un po’ fredda, ma con queste temperature non era necessariamente un male) e del light lunch, che ho trovato perfetto (peraltro segnalo che sono vegetariana e sono stati attentissimi alle mie esigenze). Beautiful charming hotel in olive groves.
Bathrooms are rustic. Takes long time for hot water to arrive and Internet is nearly nonexistent (weak signal in lobby only). Breakfast was great nice to sit on terrace. Pool was clean and nice. Staff was very helpful with recommendations and reservations.

Great base for Puglia
Our accomodation was in a garden with roses jasmine and orange trees. It was quiet and we looked out over ancient olive trees. The shower was refreshing and the window opened out to the garden. After some frenetic Italian driving we relaxed in soft beds, gorgeous food and friendly staff. It was a beautiful place to stay.

A delightful out-of-town retreat
We started and finished our visit to Puglia at the Borgo San Marco for a total of six nights in all. We loved the hotel. The style and feel of the place, the warmth of the welcome were all very charming. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable; the food was very good quality, unpretentious home-style cooking and the local wine was delicious. Overall, the experience both times was excellent value.
