Estate Little Saint James Island Holidays from €2,161

This was our second stay at this property; the last was five years ago in 2019. Room was very clean and amenities as expected. Staff was friendly but noticeably less responsive to simple requests than we recall from our previous visit. Example we asked for paper towels, tissues, and tp at the midpoint of our 5 day stay; were told we'd receive them right away and never got them. Parts of the property looked run down and we were wondering if a storm had hit them and they were still repairing. Chickens had taken residence and a Rooster woke us up early every morning. We received multiple unsolicited calls on our mobile from the concierge; they might have just been trying to be helpful but it seemed like they wanted to push a time-share presentation that we weren't interensted in and we found it a bit annoying. We rented a car and planned all activities on our own so can't comment on the resorts included activities; but they seemed to be limited. Location is close to several beaches and Red Hook so there is a lot to do in the area and several restaurants are nearby. Overall the value was still good and it was a safe clean place to stay, but the resort seems to be going downhill a bit over the years and needs some TLC and attention to detail.
