"A beautiful home with wonderful views over Cassis. We were a large family group of mixed ages, the youngest was 11 years old. For families with younger children the uphill walk from the village would be more of a challenge but taxis were relatively easy to access. The walk to and from the village took around 20-30 mins. "The property was as lovely in person as presented in the listing. The beds were super comfortable. The amenities were great. Nico met us at check in and showed us every detail upon arrival, all the way down to showing us location of kitchenwares and switch operations. He also helped us and gave us tips on navigating the parking. There is in fact ample parking, but it requires some mental gymnastics to get in. If you pay attention to Nico it totally works. "Where do I start after booking this supposed villa advertised as 6 bedroom we discovered it was in fact 4 bedroom with sofa beds in living area, adjacent to another house We sent sereval messages to owner responses took weeks and some questions remained unanswered. The owner was not at the villa on night of arrival to greet us, instead was at a party while we we're lost in a transfer in the woodlands, took multiple attempts to contact him, he wasnt very helpful. "A very special villa, with many different places to relax in throughout the day and evening. Terraces, rooms and of course the pool and poolside area. Beautiful restful home to return to after a busy day out in the lovely towns and cities relatively nearby. A car is essential (a small one perhaps as narrow roads aren't so straight forward to navigate). Local people in shops and restaurants incredibly warm and friendly. A very special place to holiday."
