Usually, if I don't have something nice to say, I wont. This will be one of my few exceptions. Starting at the lobby, the desk clerk was pretty friendly when first checking in. There is a large "NO REFUNDS" sign at check-in. The lobby smelled of a mix of humidity and cigarettes... place needs to be urgently aired out. The first room I got was absolutely filthy. The beds had hair on them, the sheets were dirty and stained. The restroom was even worse. I asked the desk clerk for a new room. The second room was better but not by much. The beds were also covered in hair, the sheets were stained, and sheets had cigarette burns. The restroom was also extremely filthy. Luckily, I always carry lysol wipes and tried to make the most out of the situation... It seemed like the room had not been cleaned in MONTHS!!! It was so gross!!! I requested clean sheets, and apparently, it was a hard feat to accomplish, filled with annoyance and sarcasm. My husband and friend made the beds with the clean sheets and we called it a night. This was the worst hotel/motel stay ever. I want a refund so bad. As for the manager, you're welcome. We left the room cleaner than when we arrived.

Don't waist your money.
The room was dirty and dead roaches all over the floor with cheerios. The bathroom smelled like mold and dampened.

Room was clean but bed cover had holes. The lobby and halls smelled of cigar smoke and lobby area smelled of marijuana constantly. The halls looked dirty and the hall ceilings had water damage. Booked a non smoking room but could still smell smoke either from next door or halls. Walls are thin and could hear and literally feel the bumps from wall against our bed. There’s a sign in the lobby that says no refunds or else I would’ve stayed somewhere else, good thing it was a one night stay.

We broke down about 20 miles from this town. We were hot and tired and so sad. Debbie and her crew made everything perfect. I cannot rave enough about her and the rest of the folks at this motel. The room is a better one for Motel 6. Not perfect, but I love that I can bring my Chihuahua's. I am so thankful for these people. I will definitely stay here in the future

this hotel was a VERY dirty experience. The blankets and sheets were disgusting and very worrisome to sleep on. The WHOLE hotel smelled like cigarettes when it’s supposedly a “no smoke zone” 1/10 experience would definitely not recommend.

Very happy we chose to stay here. Traveling on motorcycles, front desk lest us park them by front window so they could keep an eye on them. I’m insulin dependent. The person that checked us in assisted on getting my ice packs froze again. Plus had one that fit my cooler well and donated it to me. Everyone here has been really nice. They’re trying to keep the old building in good condition. The sheets and towels were clean.

The hotel is dated but my room was clean with A/C, tv that worked and a very good hot shower! The stairway area definitely needed cleaning. Parking lot in and out areas could have the pot holes fixed (they are rather large). It was a great location for my business and excellent price!

Don’t do it
This poor old hotel needs shut down. It’s worn out, several rooms padlocked from the outside. I can only imagine how bad they must be inside. Our curtains were missing so many fasteners missing there were 6 inch gaps on each side. I kid you not, there were clothes bands aids covering the holes in the side of the bath tub.

Worst Hotel Ever
Words can not describe what happened. Arrived at 10:15PM. Employee affront door smoking . He could not get computer started, could not find reservations (had redeemed free night ).Suggested I pay him at a "discounted rate". I refused, then he questioned if I was at correct hotel, had correct date on reservation. I Had to provide printed copy. He then called someone. On my printed copy, he was so high, could not located check in date, or actually Motel 6 name ! This went on for 20 minutes ! He was so messed up, confused my State drivers license ID for a hotel room key !. Finally he let me check in after 25 minutes of his antics. Told him I was tired, been driving for over 13 hours . Now the room : numerous dead cockroaches, human blood on table leg, trash still in can from previous guest. Had I not been so beat tired , would have left.This employee should be discharged . This is the worse experience I've ever had at a Motel6 , or a reservation with Hotels.Com ! Have pictures to back up my allegations . Will file a complaint with Motel6 corporate and Hotels.Com , as I'm a gold member. Do NOT STAY at this place in ELK CITY OK.

Ended up leaving to find a different hotel to stay at. The building was in terrible shape, no signs, the rooms had beds that were filled with cigarette burns. Did not make us comfortable so we left.

The staff was nice but the facility is disgusting. The room had an odor of urine, the floors were sticky, the bathroom was unclean and the tub had peeling paint. The ice machine was broken.

Stay away.
I have pics of all this. Blood on bathroom wall. Shower had 4 hairs, used bar of soap on upper edge of shower, showerhead pipe was disconnected, you could see into the wall where it was disconnected. Toilet bowl was black from hard water or not being cleaned. Strange people wandering about looking into cars. One person stumbled into a car with flat tires and passed out.

Overall for a one night stay it’s okay, being entirely honest this place is very run down and not properly maintained. Outlets are so worn they won’t hold a plug, have signs of sparking or small burns around the outlets. The room wasn’t cleaned well and appeared to have left over mess from previous occupants that wasn’t cleaned. The lights would flicker before staying on, the bathroom vent didn’t work. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and the shower curtain had what I hope was either mud or chocolate staining all over it. There were nail holes all in the walls that were poorly fixed and very obvious. The room came with a little fridge (clean) and a dirty microwave. It’s not the worst place to stay if you’re on a very strict budget but not the nicest either. The entire building has a weird smell to it and seemed the vending machines and ice were out of order.

The property was very dirty with over a dozen dead cockroaches on the floor inside the room. Also the refrigerator did not work at all and the toilet “ran” all night long. I am not terribly picky but this dirtiness was terrible, I absolutely do not recommend.
