Great condo
Wonderful location - 40 minute drive to Purgatory and close to downtown restaurants. Kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect for our family of 4.

Would stay again!
Ok. So the first thing you need to know - STAIRS. Lots of stairs. If you can't do stairs you probably won't like it here. With that out of the way, it was a very comfortable stay for my family. Nice rooms, nice beds. 2.5 bathrooms is great. Buddy, you need a new photographer for this listing, though. Your listing pics don't do this place or it's view justice.

Great location
We were visiting to ride the train. The condo location was perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable. However—-even though we had read previous reviews of the steps we were not prepared for over the 40 steps up to the condo. If you are a senior or have mobility issues be aware the four of us struggled. Communications with the owner were excellent.

Great Condo - Close to Downtown Durango
My husband and I enjoyed the stay at this condo. Spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The condo is just a half mile drive to the downtown area in Durango, which is full of shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Super clean!
None of us had ever had such a clean place to stay! Joel was very responsive and helpful and the place was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and spices too. This was our first experience with vrbo and it was worth it!

Durango stay
After spending the day in the railroad, it was nice to come home to a quiet, comfortable well-appointed apartment to cook and rest. Watched football, made gumbo, and enjoyed the family. Thank you for sharing the space!

Step up to the birdhouse
The listing was exactly what was advertised. Clean, spacious and safe are the words that come to mind. We stayed midweek and were greeted by some deer that were grazing feet away. They were the only ones around midday which made for a very quiet day. It was the end of September perfect weather so we used the spa and pool. Don’t have anything negative to report and I guess the only suggestion I can offer is to bring comfortable shoes due to the stairs. Host communication was hospitable and welcoming. I would recommend and would stay again.

One of our FAVORITES
We've stayed in several VRBO homes and this is one of our favorites. The description was completely accurate but what it didn't mention is that the owners provided additional touches that we found invaluable. There was a bag of coffee near the coffee maker, a couple of laundry pods to use, extra roll-away beds and the bathrooms were spotless were some of our favorite details. My sister is already looking at booking this same home in the coming year. I will stay here again if going to Durango. No hotel in the area would provide a better stay than this home.

Beautiful Treehouse
The property was clean, updated, large, has every amenity and very beautiful. Perfect communication. Great views of the mountains. Access to the pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen has everything you could want. There are games for the kids. We absolutely loved the place and hope to return. If you have no problem with stairs, don’t hesitate, book the Treehouse! You will be very happy you did! Thank you Joel for a great experience at the treehouse!

Just what we needed, comfortable and convenient. The pool wasn’t open yet which was a bummer and the stairs are no joke, but we had a great trip and we were so happy to have this condo to stay in.

The perfect place to stay.
The Tree House is the perfect place to stay while visiting Durango. Close to downtown. The condo is well equipped and very clean. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen and fire starters for the fire.

Comfortable Stay, Great Condo
We were in town for the weekend for my son’s hockey tournament and this condo was very conveniently located about 5 minutes from the rink. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Joel, the host, was fantastic and extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Not an accurate description
The description of this room said that I had four beds. It actually had one double size bed two twin beds and two rollaway is in closets in locations of which you could not pull them out and set them up anywhere. So our five adults did not have proper accommodations.

Hello Tammy. I'm sorry to hear you had issues with the accommodations. However, I am a bit confused by your comments. The description clearly states 3 beds (1 queen and 2 twins), and there are multiple pictures of all beds. I also regularly host groups who utilize the additional pullout beds, who find them to be convenient and comfortable. If you were having troubles I wish you would have contacted me on my cell # I provided, so I could help resolve. I wish you better luck on your next VRBO rental, and encourage you to read property descriptions thoroughly before booking, to make sure you pick the right place for your group. Take care. Joel

Exactly what we were hoping for and more!!
So cozy, warm.... well equipped. Only drawback was the stairs, thank goodness we had our daughter and her boyfriend with us to do most of the climbing.

Spacious place and comfortable. Great location- less than 10’ drive to town; easy drive to Mesa Verde National Park. Communication was timely. Be prepared to climb stairs! Only issue is the external door is a little bit compromised; but area seems to be safe, so we weren’t too concerned.

Our stay was great! All the amenities you need, very clean, cozy. We weren't there that much since we were visiting for a wedding, but I would book this property again, if and when I venture back to Durango. The hosts were communicative and gave the impression that they would be right there when needed.

The layout was perfect for us, two business partners traveling for work. Two separate bedroom/bathroom spaces downstairs with a nicely laid out common area upstairs. It was quiet and clean. Joel was responsive and check in was easy!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in the Tree House. It was a perfect little place for us. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We appreciated the extra kid twin bed and mattress for our little one to sleep on the floor easily. There were three A/C window units to keep the place nice and cool. Kitchen was well stocked for our needs. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub only a min walk from the condo. We got a lot of exercise going up and down the roughly three flights of stairs to the place but not a problem for our family. Thanks!

Look no farther for your Durango stay!
Perfect place and location! The Treehouse was a lovely place to stay. Quiet area with beautiful views! Well-appointed kitchen, and overall comfy and welcoming spaces. If you are physically capable of walking up three flights of stairs outside and a flight of stairs inside, then this is the place to stay. You won't be disappointed including the great communication from owner Joel.

We were there for move in at Fort Lewis College and it was very convinient to walk over to the college or downtown, transit was also available. We stayed 9 nights with 2 teens and it was easy to spread out through the house and get some quiet time if you wanted. The home was stocked with everything we needed and Joel was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great stay in Durango
Our family from Texas and California met up in Durango for an end of the summer get together. We enjoyed our time in Durango and stay at the Treehouse very much. Everything was as described. Location was very convenient to downtown with a shuttle stop right in front of the complex. Kids enjoyed time at the pool. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
