Rovira Suites is a 5* hotel in my opinion. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. Every was very modern and I felt right at home. The shower had good pressure and hot water. They even provided new Colgate toothbrushes. The staff was excellent and the ladies at the reception desk went above and beyond to assist in arranging a scooter rental for the day. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff. The included breakfast was great and hit the spot. The rest of their daily menu items are very well priced and the quality of food was good, for what I ordered. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Other than the hotel, there are limited dining options within walking distance, other than a couple of small Lechon shacks. This is a very convenient place to stay if you are just transferring to and from the airport in Dumaguete. This is the fifth hotel I’ve stayed in in the last four weeks and it is the best one of them all I would recommend this place to stay. The layout of the hotel, the staff and the services provided have been very well thought out.

We enjoyed our stay at Rovira very much. The staff was wonderful and they were very accommodating to us after our plans for the day fell through due to an illness. Basically, we needed a place to stay until 7:00 pm and their rules are they will charge 200 pesos an hour from noon to 4:00 for a late check out which I found to be very fair. Anything after 4:00 and the full room rate would be charged. After explaining my situation, the manager agrees to charge me the corporate rate for the day which was much cheaper than the regular price. They even went so far to charge me this reduced rate for the previous night when we stayed there. I thought their customer service was outstanding and we will stay there again if/when we return to Dumaguete.

Is a nice place to stay
This place checks all the boxes of comfortable place to stay. It is very clean, well appointed furnishings and amenities in the room (fridge, kettle, bar sink etc), comfortable beds and nice bedding/pillows, good functioning air con, windows that open and balcony to allow fresh air, central location, friendly and kind staff, quality breakfast and room service (or pool side), plenty of water on each floor in water dispensers, functioning hot water in the shower, good cable TV options and smart TV for streaming, fast reliable wi fi, the list goes on… nothing was left to be desired. It is clear the staff and ownership clearly cares about its guests. We will stay again when in Dumaguete.

This is truly a little gem in Dumaguete, which we believe is underrated, especially after we spend 20 nights there. From a well designed hotel, tasty and affordable meals, to fantastic staff, we will no doubt stay there again during our next visit to Dumaguete.

Second time staying at this property. Staff was excellent and attentive. They even offered to warm up our leftover meals from other restaurants. Very nice service. The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. I would recommend this property.

This is a well kept property with an awesome, very friendly staff. Pool is very nice, and probably the most important thing i look for is a comfortable bed...which it is. Will definitely stay here again

The location does not have many restaurants in the area. You have to take a motor cab, not taxi, to really get anywhere. Staff was nice but they could use a few more people. The WIFI was horrible. The second day it was unusable. I would stay there again but be ready for a few minor hassles.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Abends muss für das Tricicle ein erhöhter Transportbetrag von / zum Hotel bezahlt werden. Der Pool ist am Wochenende von Auswärtigen mit unzähligen Kindern belegt. Es ist unglaublich laut. Trotz mehrfacher Erinnerung an das Hotel wurde ein gebuchter Abholservice vom Hotel vergessen. Die 3 sehr jungen Frauen an der Rezeption haben das mit Gelächter bei der Ankunft genossen. Das Frühstück muss im Voraus gebucht werden. Das Essen wird dann unter einer Plastik Frischhaltefolie serviert. Das Zimmer war auf der Höhe des Aufzuges. Somit konnte jeder Betrieb des Liftes von Gästen im Zimmer mitgehört werden. Das Zimmer wird von viel Personal "geputzt" und anschließend kontrolliert. Trotzdem wurde jedes Mal Handtücher vergessen zu ersetzen. Sämtliche Glasflächen (Spiegel im Bad und Balkontüre) waren permanentverschmiert. Der Balkontisch wurde nicht gesäubert und der Tisch nicht abgewischt. Über der Eingangstür im Zimmer waren deutlich Wasserflecken von einem Wasserschaden sichtbar. Das Zimmer selber ist sehr hellhörig. Fernsehprogramm vom Nachbarzimmer mussten mitgehört werden. Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht elektrisch eingestellt werden. Man konnte das total veraltete Gerät anschalten. Grob die Temperatur von kalt und sehr kalt regeln. Betrieb nur mit Ventilator möglich. Dauerzug auf das Bett. Betriebsgeräusche viel zu laut. Immerhin hat man beim Betrieb der Klimaanlage weiniger die Geräusche vom Lift und der anderen Gäste gehört.

Bed was too firm but we were only there for one night so it was bearable. Staff was awesome, friendly and willing to work with our request.
