Spacious and clean apartment
Very good sized and clean. Walkable for most people. We were traveling with my mom so we had to take some taxis to get to the center of old town. Grocery stores nearby. Very kind hosts. :)

Well appointed apartment
We all really liked the unit. The host was very adaptable and allowed us to drop of our suitcases and get the keys before 3 pm. He was very quick to reply to any questions we had and provided information about eating areas, grocery stores, etc. We all found the location a bit far from the “tourist” spots of Dublin as we did not have a vehicle. We did manage to walk to Grafton St., Temple Bar Area, etc which was between 30 - 40 minutes. Overall a good value.

Great Location
While the apartment is very basic, it met all our needs and was in a great location to walk to most places in Dublin. It is just around the corner from the Guinness Storehouse and I loved that you could smell the barley roasting as you walked by. The host was waiting for us when we arrived and responded to our messages promptly.

Not Quite as Advertised
The property was a bit run down with flooring and thresholds loose or cracked. The freezer was not working and the apartment did not have a clothes dryer as advertised. The bedding was clean but the floors could have used some attention. The shower in the second room needed to be re-caulked. The stairwells were remarkably clean. It was in an area where we felt safe to walk. There was WiFi and a television in the living room but you couldn’t watch anything on it unless you had your own streaming subscription. The accomadations were severely overpriced compared to other locations in the city and the condition of the apartment. The pictures in the Vrbo listing are highly deceptive and do not reflect the property accurately. There was no way to check in other than meeting with the owner or his cleaning personnel. It took an hour for the owner to arrive and we waited outside witnessing a white male who was apparently experiencing some drug induced episode and who eventually passed out a few feet from the entrance and was later transported by the ambulance service.

Unit and Building in Unacceptable Cond.
We arrived to the unit late in the evening and were greeted by Klember, who escorted us to the unit. Unfortunately, we were given physical keys and a key code option was unavailable. Upon entering the building, we immediately noticed multiple handwritten notes in the lobby warning of vandals trespassing onto the property. The building is in poor condition with visible damage to walls and locks, mold growing on walls and several lights out in corridor spaces. The unit itself was unmaintained as well. Several appliances were broken, the walls were visibly dirty, mechanical wires exposed and floors in need of repair. Additionally, the owners personal property was left in the corner. My family and I felt very uncomfortable staying here and ultimately checked into a hotel. Despite departing the property immediately, the owner refused a refund.

Great Property near Sites
Great property in good location. Comfortable 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with full kitchen and washer. Walking to some attractions but due to cold weather Ubered to temple bar region. Quiet area until early morning with school and construction site. Hosts were very helpful with anything we needed.

Wonderful Location
My friend, and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was close to several different sites that we wanted to see, great food options nearby, and the host was very responsive and friendly! Would love to come back and stay here again!

A cozy 2 bedrooms near the Guinness Storehouse
The apartment is cozy, neat, and we felt safe. It’s very quiet too. Klember gave us excellent advice on nearby restaurants and specialty food shopping. I hope we go back to Dublin and we will stay here at The Liberties.

Convenient place in the Liberty area. Second bedroom was small, so much so that the very large closet was inaccessible because the closet doors couldn't open. In general a fine place for a few days in Dublin

Dublin visit
We enjoyed our stay in Dublin. It was important to us to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and to be within walking distance of things to do and see. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Easy to get to the Guinness Storehouse
The apartment is clean and efficient. Unfortunately the elevator was being worked on when we arrived so carrying our bags up 4 flights of stairs with no sleep for 28 hrs was not fun, but not the owners fault. Plenty of cabs nearby with the Guinness storehouse so close, so easy to get any where in the city centre, but neighborhood is a little dodgy. Even one of the pub owners told us to be careful getting back to the apartment with the people in that area. For 2 nights it was perfect for our needs, just be aware of your surroundings.

The apartment is pretty conveniently located to all the sites. A bit of walk to some things but not a problem for our family and taxis are abundant if needed. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive questions. It had everything we needed. Thank you!

Property manager very nice and prompt to answer all correspondence. Met us on site at arrival and gave us recommendations for places to go to. Beds and pillows very comfortable, home clean and had all the amenities we needed. Nice to have washer/dryer. Very close to Guinness Storehouse and groceries. Walking distance to Temple Bar and many other attractions. Great location just outside all the hustle and bustle.

We enjoyed our stay at this spotless apartment which was within a 2 minute walk from the Guinness storehouse. The kitchen was well stocked, had laundry facilities, large windows, very spacious, comfortable leather couch, modern, street parking was available, comfortable beds, nice showers. All needs were anticipated - would definitely stay again & can highly recommend.

Perfect for a quick overnight in Dublin
We took the train in from Limerick and stayed the night to see the city. The apt is sparse, but we just needed a bed to sleep and were gone in the AM. Loved the travel toothbrushes! Very quiet. Great view. Uber and taxi are plenty and just 2 minutes out.

After a travel day of more than 27hours Klember was so patient and kind with our constant travel delays. Thank you for the food recommendations and the beer in the fridge is was sorely needed and much appreciated! We would stay here again

Great place!
Owners were extremely attentive to our questions and a few issues. There is no TV unless you bring your computer which we did not. The owner does provide an adapter for the older computers not Apple. Thank you opening up you home to us!

No heat, no TV, no hot water in shower
The actual space and furnishings are great; however, there was no heat (the owner said it was broken and provided space heaters, something necessary since it was the end of November), the TV didn't work, and there was no hot water in one of the showers. Having rented many VRBO properties, these major drawbacks make this undesirable compared to other VRBO experiences we've had. On a positive note, there were good recommendations from the owner about restaurants, etc., it was really clean, they were great about us checking in a little early, it's close to public transportation, and the couch/beds are comfortable. Owners - please address the negatives listed above for future renters. It was cold and all four of us needed to use the primary suite bathroom.

Hey Elizabeth, We really don't think we deserve a 2 star rating, but thank you for your honest and open feedback. As we mentioned before and also explained it on the property listing, we do not offer or have TV/ Smart TV available; same thing with the heater system ( it was not broken), we do offer electric/ portable heaters instead, also explicit in our listing. It is a pity you could not use the hot shower in one of the bathrooms, it just needed it to be turned to the opposite side, we would have happily helped if you had texted us :) We wish you all the best, and again thanks for your visit.
