« We arrived after spending a week in Belfast - brilliant place butpacked and full of the bustle of the city. Donegal was the polar opposite. The house is in the most beautiful spot imaginable- you couldn’t tire of that view in a hundred lifetimes and I even saw the sun come up a couple of mornings. Loads to do in the area but equally perfect for sitting back and soaking up the absolute, hear a pin drop quiet. Idyllic. House was beautifully and stylishly equipped and extremely comfortable....

« Sur une petite route tranquille, cette belle maison ouvre ses grandes baies vitrées sur un panorama aussi beau qu'apaisant. Un petit vallon habité de moutons, de grandes prairies parsemées de troupeaux, et cet immense estuaire aux couleurs changeantes avec le ciel et la marée. La maison, très récente, est confortable, pratique, bien équipée et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. « Le cottage est très bien situé, entre Ardara et Slieve League. Le paysage est sauvage et isolé, très beau. La maison est fonctionnelle et rien ne manque. Seul petit bémol, le réfrigérateur est un peu petit pour une famille de 5 personnes. C'était très bien! »

« The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. We also brought up the tidiness issue right away, we cleaned up ourselves, and he said he would address it with his housekeeping...

« We stayed for a week and had a very relaxing time. Can not fault the property for anything, immaculate and has everything you need, the open living dining area was great for us as our oldest child uses a wheelchair. Would definitely come back at some point. »

« The Cottage was overfilled with the owners possesions, which is understandable to a point, but finding a strangers clothes in the closet is not pleasant. And we had the feeling there was no room for ourselves. The landscape was beautiful and we will visite ireland again, but unfortunatly we woud not return to that cottage. »

« This was one of my family's favorite adventures that we've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Hilltown was an amazing house and an amazing property. Both the house and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. The house had everything that our family of five needed, and it would certainly accommodate at least two families.
