Tranquil Beautiful Villa
Villacool was a great stay for us - plenty of space very clean, and reasonably well equipped. We had a couple of issues on check in but they were resolved extremely quickly. The pool was a great size and very clean although unheated which made it chilly in May but we still used it daily. Overall, the Villa is as described in the listing and the photos are accurate. On our last day we discovered the village market which has some interesting stalls. Chai beach near the tower has a lovely cafe and a good coastal walk

Beautiful & peaceful
The Villa was as beautiful as expected and the host provides a lot of info about about the region which was helpful with planning our stay. Our group had a rental car and we spent our days out and about at beaches, golf, wineries and the Villa was a great place to spend our evenings together. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook dinner in and there are also plenty of great restaurants a short drive away. Both Manuele, the host, and Francesca, the on-site contact are very responsive and helpful.

Schöner Familienurlaub im verträumten Domus de Maria
Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Fahrzeug ist unbedingt notwendig. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Die vorab Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war TOP. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge.

An excellent villa
We had a wonderful week in villa cool. Lovely villa, great pool. Beaches are 15-20 minute drive and are absolutely beautiful. Local restaurants 20 min walk to town serve delicious food.

The villa was clean, excellent location for privacy, (you will need a car to go anywhere), pools was clean and great fun. The only issue I had, which has nothing to do with the owners, is the garbage! The town regulations are very strict and most be followed. At the end of our stay ( we did follow all the rules concerning the garbage) we had some garbage left and the manager was very helpful and said he would take care of it. The garbage instructions are very clear so if you follow them there will be no problems. Great family vacation villa. Would highly recommend,

Fantastic Villa
Beautifully decorated villa, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. In a lovely setting a short hop from the local village centre. Brilliant communication from the owner and always went that extra mile to ensure all of our needs were met. Would have no hesitation in recommending, one of the nicest villas we have every stayed at. Shame we are now back to the dreary, wet, cold UK!

We enjoyed the very quiet and spacious villa. Specifically the communication with Manuele, the owner, was perfect. He helped to sort out small issues very quickly. We were 4 adults and 1 kid and had more than enough space to relax and have fun at the pool.

Schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Cool. Der Pool war Mitte Oktober zwar schon sehr kalt, aber das hat die Kinder nicht abgehalten. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Es gibt einige Katzen in der Nachbarschaft, die regelmäßig zu Besuch kamen (nur im Außenbereich!). Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da, was man braucht. Super Host: Manuele hat uns sogar bei der Tischreservierung geholfen, da man dort kein Englisch verstand. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, die Strände ca 12 - 15 Minuten entfernt. Im Oktober musste man schauen, wo es noch Liegen gab, aber dafür es überall angenehm leer. Wir empfehlen das Haus gern weiter!

A great week at villa cool. The weather was great and the local beaches and sea were the best we had been too. Manuele was great and responded quickly to any needs. This time of year a lot of places are closed but that didn’t spoil our stay.

We originally booked Villacool for 2020 but due to Covid we had to cancel twice and finally made it in 2022. It was worth the wait. Manuele was so understanding and helpful throughout and always responded really quickly. The area is beautiful and the villa had everything we needed for a fantastic time. I’d recommend Villacool to everyone.

Wirklich eine coole Villa
Positiv: Ein wirklich sehr schönes Haus, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegtes Grundstück, toller großer Pool, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, tolle Ausstattung der Küche, schöne Außen Küche mit großen Grill, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ausgezeichnet und auf Wünsche oder Probleme wird wirklich rasend schnell reagiert. Nicht ganz optimal: Zwei Zimmer im Haus haben keine Fenster, da sie im Hang im Untergeschoss liegen, die andern sind im ersten Stock. Wespenplage auf dem Grundstück, somit Abendessen erst wenn es dunkel ist möglich und Frühstück draußen eher schwierig. Ein bis zwei Sonnenschirme wären schön, damit man auch vormittags Schatten am Pool hat.

Very well equipped villa in lovely rural spot though close to village with restaurants and basic food shops. Very spacious inside with a good finish. A good sized pool with pleasant pool area and several sun beds / deck chairs. We had a very good week and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful villa in secluded location - perfect downtime
We had a lovely 2 week stay at the end of July/August. The house was exactly as shown in the extensive photos on the site and was of a high standard throughout. Very well equipped kitchen and a gas BBQ (mains!) that we used to do most of our cooking. Aircon throughout the house when needed. The pool is lovely and big enough to relax in or swim a few lengths, surrounded by lots of seating. Check in was fine - despite having to arrive at 2330 as our flight was a late one to Olbia we were met at the villa to hand over the keys. Throughout the stay Maneule was in easy contact and when we had to ask for some advice about accessing health care he responded within minutes. The local area is incredibly beautiful, especially the beaches. A car is essential. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the Chia beaches which are just stunning - parking costs between 4-9 euros (most places charge less after 3-4pm, which is the best time to go, less heat and the beaches are less crowded). Our favourite was Su Guideu - flamingos in the lagoon as you walk to the beach. Ate out at Nickos pizzeria in the village (cheap and friendly) and at Poseiden at Tuerredda beach (more expensive but lovely setting, good seafood and an extensive wine list!). We took our kids to Blufan waterpark (Pula) - a bit tired but great fun and value - arrive after 1430 for discount - 4 hours is enough and again quieter in the afternoon, and also Pula Aventure park (think rustic Go Ape) in the evening - again good value and kids enjoyed it. Overall surprised how reasonably priced everything was, apart from the supermarkets (2 in Pula), but not much you can do about that (apart from buy fruit and veg from the local roadside stalls). Local shops friendly for topping up in. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay where you can feel utterly relaxed with easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe go and stay at Villacool.

Lovely Villa in a quiet and beautiful setting
A lovely place to relax, well away from all the bustle of conventional holiday resorts,. The villa is in a beautiful setting, and with easy access to lovely beaches and restaurants. The house and pool are lovely and means you can spend a day 'in' without compromise.

Great break in a beautiful corner of Sardinia
Lovely villa in a peaceful and beautiful area of Sardinia. Some amazing (and relatively uncrowded) beaches are around a 15 minute drive away. There are 2-3 nice restaurants/pizzerias around 20 minutes walk away and many more within driving distance. Quite a few villas nearby are undergoing some building work, but there was no significant noise disruption whilst we were there. The villa is really nice, having also recently completed some improvement work; and the large pool was great to cool down in! The owner (Manuele) was helpful and responsive, and this was really appreciated!

Rundum zufrieden
Dieses Haus hält, was das Inserat verspricht. Schon der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus durch die gepflegte Gartenanlage zaubert ein Lächeln und Vorfreude ins Gesicht. Kommt man oben an, wird man von einem Pool begrüßt, der groß ist, regelmäßig gereinigt wird und beste Wasserqualität besitzt. Das morgendliche Bad war ein Höhepunkt des frühen Tages und auch die Liegen sowie anderen Sitzmöglichkeiten laden zum Verweilen ein (Sonne bis circa 17.15 Uhr). Sauberkeit ist nicht nur am und im Pool sowie in der Außenküche ein großer Pluspunkt für die Villacool. Auch die Villa selbst besticht durch ihre Ausstattung, Geräumigkeit und guten Raumaufteilung. Kurz: Wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie es das Inserat versprochen hat. Und wenn es etwas zu beanstanden gab - einmal war die Gasflasche für den Außengrill leer und ein anderes Mal haben ich den Grill nicht anbekommen - hat ein Anruf oder eine Nachricht an Manuele gereicht und das Problem war binnen kürzester Zeit behoben. Der Begriff preiswert trifft auf die Villacool zu, denn sie ist den Preis wert. Und wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder mieten.

Very nice holidays in Villacool
We stayed for a week with our children and really enjoyed our stay! Highlights: The pool is excellent, clean and with 10 meters long enough to swim and evening lights for great atmosphere. The appartment is very quiet, no street or other noise. The appartment is very clean with lots of space, photos are not exaggerating. The babeque worked well. The owner was very responsive for any questions. Recomendation for beach: Turedda is the best beach in the area but you need to pre-book in order to get in.

Sehr, sehr schönes Haus
Villacool ist ein wunderschönes Haus, mit viel Charme und kleinen angenehmen Details. Die Villa ist perfekt ausgestattet, vor allem die Küche sucht seinesgleichen. Der Kontakt mit Manuele war einwandfrei und wir haben nie länger als 15 Minuten auf seine Antwort gewartet. Alles ist genauestens beschrieben, wie welches Gerät funktioniert, wo ist welcher Strand (wobei die Bilder der Strände, im Heft teilweise nicht mehr der Realität entsprechen, aber das ist eben Natur)etc. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben toll gerochen. Francesca, die Dame, die vor Ort alles verwaltet, hat uns freundlich begrüßt und alles gezeigt. Zu den Stränden von Chia fährt man etwa 20 Minuten. Bis auf 2 Tage, konnten wir Ende September noch am Strand liegen und baden. Man wird an verschiedenen Stellen, im Haus, auf Achtsamkeit hingewiesen. Die Aircon ausmachen, beim Rausgehen, das Wasser nicht laufen lassen etc. Für uns ist dies selbstverständlich und es ist etwas schade zu sehen, dass Menschen überhaupt auf so etwas hingewiesen werden müssen. In diesem Haus fühlt man sich wie zu Hause, durch die vielen kleinen Details, weshalb es auch unachtsamen Menschen leicht fallen sollte, sich wie zu Hause zu benehmen und respektvoll mit dem fremden Eigentum umzugehen. Der Pool sieht traumhaft aus. Wir haben ihn nicht genutzt, da das Wetter uns zum Strand gezogen hat. Aber er ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Baden ein. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Tür. Bei unserer Ankunft standen für uns ein paar Kaffeekapseln (Nespresso), Milch und eine Tüte Knabberzeug bereit. Das fanden wir sehr nett und es ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir sind immer nach Pula zum Einkaufen gefahren. Meistens in den Crai Markt oder auch mal in den Conat. In Chia gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, Sirio Markt, der für seine Größe erstaunlich gut sortiert und ausgestattet war und sogar preislich teilweise günstiger, als die "großen" Märkte. Wir hatten tolle Tage, in der Villacool und empfehlen die Villa ganz klar weiter. Danke, Manuele, für diese kleine Perle.

Wunderbare Woche auch in der Hochsaison / Great week also in high season
Mit unseren 2 und 5 Jahre alten Kids hatten wir auch im August zur Hochsaison eine tolle Woche in der Villacool. Mit dem Mietwagen geht es in einer Stunde vom Flughafen Cagliari easy nach Domus De Maria. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Aber vor allem die liebevolle Ausstattung im Meeresstil des Hauses ist sehr schön aufgefallen - die Vermieterin steckt wirklich viel Arbeit in die Villacool. Daher ist auch alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Ebenso hervorzuheben ist der Pool. Die Hälfte des Pools ist nur 1 Meter tief und daher super für Familienpoolspiele geeignet. Die verschiedenen Strände von Chia sind per Auto in 15-25 Minuten zu erreichen. Im August sind sie natürlich sehr voll, aber trotzdem sehr schön. Alles in allem eine tolle Woche und eine sehr schöne Villa für eine Familie.

Beautiful Sardinia
We spent a week at Villacool at the end of August after months in the COVID pandemic. Originally we were booked for June but this was obviously cancelled due to lockdown. Manuele was a pleasure to deal with - he was very prompt to reply to any queries and was very flexible and understanding about any uncertainties about committing to any travel dates. Luckily we managed to make our rebooked week and it was well worth the wait. Sardinia is beautiful and unspoilt, the coastline retains its natural look, without all the hotels and villas that often ruin coastlines like this. Villacool has everything you’ll need to make a very comfortable stay and is in a nice quiet location, but close enough to to the facilities in the town. The handover from Francesca on our first and last days was very efficient. We did have problems with garbage - not being used to leaving out separated recycling each day and our good intention of a trip to the local dump on our last day was thwarted by changed opening times, but again Manuele was very understanding and accommodating about our mishap. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villacool and I’d highly recommend this villa to anybody looking to visit this lovely island. Thank you Manuele!

Vacanza Fantastica
Our family of four spent two wonderful weeks at Villacool this August. The villa is beautiful. The large pool is perfectly positioned catching the sun all day with plenty of shady areas around it for when it gets too hot. The villa itself is beautifully presented, equipped with everything needed and more, bedrooms are very spacious and the layout of the house is fantastic. The villa, although only a short 10 minute walk from the village is very private. Domus de Maria is a lovely quiet village with bakers (amazing breads and croissants), butchers and few small shops. It also has two pizzerias, both of which are lovely to spend an evening in over some delicious pizzas and few drinks. Other lovely restaurants are only a short drive away. The amazing beaches of Chia are only 10-15 minutes by car. The owner, Manuele, has been absolutely fantastic all the way through. He kept us in the loop in regards to the ever changing Covid-19 situation and what to expect on beaches, in restaurants, travelling etc. He has given us so much information before our holiday (best beaches, where to eat, where to visit…) Nothing was too much trouble for him. We would highly recommend Villacool without any hesitation.

Tolle Familienferien in der Villacool
Wir (4 Erw. , 3 Kinder und 1 Baby) genossen wunderschöne Ferien in der Villacool. Es fehlte uns an nichts, das Haus ist für Kinder top ausgestattet - mit Babybett, Hochstuhl, Kindergeschirr und tollem Hochbett. Der Pool ist sehr grosszügig und mit den Abstufungen perfekt für Kinder. Die Chia-Strände (ca. 12 min. mit dem Auto von der Villa entfernt) sind einfach traumhaft und waren Ende September fast menschenleer (ausser ein paar Schweizern ;-)). Ein Dank auch an Manuele für die schnelle und ehrliche Kommunikation. Das wissen wir zu schätzen. Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Perfect holiday in quiet location
Extremely comfortable and modern villa with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Plenty of space inside and out, and a very good sized pool. Quiet location, 10 min stroll down to the village where people are very friendly and where you can find baker, bank, Saturday market, restaurants , mini markets and veg stores , bit longer coming back uphill! Plenty of good restaurants within easy reach by car and some beautiful beaches, especially if you are prepared to walk, and beautiful scenery all around. Manuele dealt with our booking and any queries very quickly and altogether we had a wonderful holiday. Already thinking about a return visit.

Everything it says on the package and more.
As a family we have rented many villas in Europe and further afield some have been amazing others not quite what we had hoped, but our experience with booking and staying at Villacool has all been 5*. The owner of the villa is so efficient and replies almost immediately to any questions you may have, not only during the booking process, but during your stay and after you leave in our case after my son left behind his wallet (which the owner went out of his way to return to him). Villacool is in a pretty location with beautiful views of the mountains and is set in a very well kept garden. We are a family of five and enjoyed all the space within the villa. The villa it self is furnished and maintained to a high standard and spotlessly clean. I have to say my favourite days were sitting in the sun around the pool and an evening spent around the great outdoor BBQ. Plus you are less than 10 mins to some spectacular beaches. A great destination and a great host, would now like to visit one of the owners other properties .

Erholsame Ferien
Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hatten Villacool für zwei Wochen im Juli 2019 gemietet und eine erholsame Zeit dort verbracht. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben sehr gut ausgestattet, allerdings etwas abgelegen. Egal ob Bäcker, Pizzeria oder kleiner Supermarkt: ohne Auto ist dies schlecht erreichbar. Die meisten Strände in der Nähe sind sehr voll, aber vor allem die Chia-Strände sind sehr weitläufig, so dass man immer einen Platz findet. Der Pool war allerdings auch sehr beliebt bei uns! Auch wir haben sehr positive Erfahrungen mit Manuele gemacht. Wann immer wir eine Anfrage hatten, wurde uns schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Vielen Dank!

Enjoyable family holiday
The villa is very nice indeed and Manuele is great in terms of responding very quickly and helpfully to any queries. The only minor niggles were that the hot water is in very limited supply - we were a party of 6 and the hot water only lasted until shower 4 each day so 2 of us had to have cold showers and rubbish disposal/sorting is a bit tiresome. The beach was lovely - we went to Chia Campana and rented beds and umbrellas from Ali Del Mare - they spoke good English and were extremely friendly and recommended a beautiful restaurant -Ortoristorante in Santa Margherita. Overall, we had a really great time.

Fantastic home for your summer vacation in southern Sardinia
We had a great week in Villacool and enjoyed both the beautiful nearby beaches and the large private pool at the villa. The villa is spacious and you will find all that you need for a comfortable stay. Domus de Maria is a small sleepy but also nice little town where enjoyed a morning coffee and pizza dinner. We would for sure recommend Villacool to other families and be happy to return.

Amazing villa!
Despite ongoing construction work nearby, especially the first 2 days noisy (the owner Manuela even made some calls), we managed to enjoy Villacool very much. Such an amazing place! Enjoyed Sardinia during the day to the best by visiting the beaches, Cagliari city and touring around to places like Porto Pino and the coastal roads. At the villa we loved the design and comfort, loved the pool, the outdoor kitchen and the outside patios. Also the weather was great the whole week so we could live mostly outside. The owner Manuel is very helpful and responds almost instantly to text messages or emails. Definitely a place to recommend!!

Wunderschönes Haus in Domus de Maria. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und extrem gut gepflegt. Hier zahlt sich die Zwischenreinigung nach einer Woche bei 2-Wochen Aufenthalten absolut aus. Absolut Hervorzuheben ist die Rückmelde bzw. Reaktionszeit vom Eigentümer Manuele, bei Fragen bzw. Problemen. Alles wird quasi sofort beantwortet gelöst. Das kleine Neubaugebiet liegt etwas oberhalb von Domus de Maria - leider gibts hier keinen vernünftigen Fussweg in die "Stadt" auf dem man im Dunklen laufen kann ohne von einem Auto überfahren zu werden. Sehr zu emmpfehlen sind die Chia Strände - sie sind im August nicht ganz so voll wie Tuerredda Beach bzw. Cipolla Beach. Vielen Dank an Manuele für den einmaligen Urlaub in seinem wunderschönen Haus ! Familie Fischer & Harter aus Baden Württemberg

Tolle Villacool!
In der Villacool hat es uns an nichts gefehlt! Es war sehr sauber, das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist genial- schön groß mit unterschiedlichen Höhen- unsere Kinder (und auch wir) liebten ihn. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und es gibt großzügig Platz mit oder ohne Sonne . Der Ausblick war herrlich und es war unglaublich ruhig. Wir fühlten uns richtig wohl und auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter war nett und völlig problemlos. Lieber Manuele, vielen Dank, wir hören bestimmt wieder voneinander!

Kleinod für Familie mit vielen Kindern
Die Villacool ist tatsächlich cool! Sehr schön gelegen in einem Neubaugebiet mit schönem Pool und vielen Schlafgelegenheiten. Die Schlafzimmer haben sehr unterschiedliche Qualität und Ausstattung, daher sind sie nicht gleichwertig, aber alle gut nutzbar. Ein wahrer Traum ist die Außenküche, die ganze Villa und die Außenanlagen sind gut gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Ende einer Sackgasse gelegen mit einem tollen Blick auf die Hügel, bietet die Villa Ruhe und Erholung quasi direkt mit an. Die Vermieterin reagiert bei Fragen schnell und zuverlässig. So klappt dann auch die Sache mit dem Zweitschlüssel und dem Sicherungskasten. Nicht so begeistert sind wir von der Küchenausstattung und bspw. dem Angebot an Gläsern - Geschirr und Plastik für Kinder ist da, Sektgläser und Rotweingläser hingegen nicht. Richtig schlecht war die Tatsache, dass die Poolreinigung bei uns nicht funktioniert hat (der Kollege war zwar da, hat aber nichts gemacht) und wir so zwei Tage den Pool nicht richtig nutzen konnten - die Vermieterin hat zwar eine Preisreduktion angeboten, aber die Nutzbarkeit des Pools insbesondere für die Kinder wären wichtiger gewesen. Was man wissen sollte ist, dass ein Neubaugebiet auch Baumaßnahmen in der Nachbarschaft mit sich bringt, die bisweilen zu massiver Lärmbelästigung führen. Ohne die beiden letzten Punkte wären wir bei vier Sternen gelandet, so aber hatten wir 2 von 10 Tagen wenig Spaß mit der Villa.

Dear Saskia, thank you for the review. After years of 5 stars reviews, this time something went wrong. I am truly sorry. I apologized and offered a small compensation at the end of your stay. Let's look into this a bit more: The opening: "The villacool is actually cool! Very nicely located in a new building area with nice pool. A real dream is the outdoor kitchen, the whole villa and the outdoor facilities are well maintained and tastefully decorated. At the end of a cul-de-sac with a great view of the hills, the villa offers peace and relaxation. The landlord responds quickly and reliably". Next: "We are not so enthusiastic about the kitchen equipment and the range of glasses". Right, as glasses/dishes are often broken, there were more than one "incomplete" sets available. I have now replaced everything with new sets. The pool: "Bad was the fact that the pool cleaning with us did not work (the maintenance men was there but did nothing) and so for the last 2 days (of 10) the pool could not be used properly - the landlord has offered a price reduction, but the usability of the Pool especially for the children was more important". As previously said, I am not sure what has happened. The maintenance man came on Sat for the cleaning. The pool was in good condition but he said he was sent away because you were in the pool. Thing is, he did not come back, which was unacceptable. I strongly complained. But I was only made aware on Mon evening when the water quality was deteriorating. I sent for cleaning at 8am on Tue. But, once water deteriorates, it takes 2 days to return it to perfect conditions. I am truly sorry as I put the highest importance in having a crystal clean pool as this is obviously one of the strong points of this property. Works: "What you should know is that a new building area also involves construction work in the neighbourhood that sometimes leads to massive noise pollution". This is actually totally incorrect. The works for this development finished 2 years ago. Unfortunately a neighbour was building a pool and one of the wall had wrong specifications. He had to put it down and build it again. I sympathise and I am sorry for the related noise but I was obviously unaware of it. There are no construction works whatsoever in the area anymore. I understand these issues did not allow you to fully relax but please consider that they were unpredictable occurrences and I tried to do my best to help in the quickest way I could. Take care. Clean, comfortable and cool.
We are a family of four, two adults and two children (7 and 9). We loved our week in Villacool. The villa itself is a good size, modern, clean and bright. Air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals. We enjoyed eating all our meals at the large tables outdoors. The pool is a good size, clean and with enough space in both the shallow end and deep end for us all to play in. There is plenty of outdoor seating space and a small lawn on which to play. Manuele was very helpful and responded incredibly quickly to any queries. We would highly recommend Villacool!

Beautiful villa with pool in a wonderful area
We really enjoyed our summer holidays in Sardinia, especially at Villacool. The villa is very well equipped, comfortable, and clean. We were 2 families (4 adults and 3 Kids) from Austria. There was enough space to relax inside and outside the villa. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the pool most. Many beautiful beaches are not far away from the villa (about 15 - 20 minutes with the car). Domus de Maria is a little nice village, with a market and 3 good restaurants (3 minutes with the car). The detailled instructions for using the house from Manuele were very helpful, and Manuele supports his guests when ever it is necessary. By the way there is a folder with many valuable tips for restaurants and excursions from Manuele. We would really recommend Villacool for summer holidays, especially for families. Thank you Manuele !

Wonderful
Super-spacious, brilliantly well equipped, beautifully light, nicely designed interior and everything worked perfectly. Loved the open plan living of the main living area and the outside areas were perfect for enjoying the sunshine and shade at all times of the day. Pool is simply gorgeous!! Slightly disappointed that the downstairs room had a damp smell - maybe just the time of year - and it would have been nice to have had a change of towels/linen once during our week's stay. The recycling/refuse collection takes some organisation but wholly worth the effort. Beaches close by are fantastic. Loved the fact that we could walk down to 'Daddy's Cafe' for our morning coffee and the lady in the supermarket next to the bread shop was so lovely and friendly - I'd recommend using both to anyone staying at Villa Cool.

Fantastic Villa with amazing pool
This is a very well furnished, great house close to the wonderful beaches of Chia (the most beautiful in the south). I can really recommend this Villa for family holidays. There is enough space for everyone, everything was very clean. Everything works perfectly, WiFi and TV too. It is wonderful to eat outside near the pool at anytime of the day. The garden is very beautiful and offers plenty of privacy. The pool is best suited for children and adults. In Domus de Maria you will find everything you need: small supermarkets, bakery, butcher, a great pizza service and fish restaurant. The owner offers detailed description of everything and very good recommendations. The contact was very friendly and always available if needed. It was a fantastic stay at Villacool and we will surely return sometime! 5 and a half stars!

Beautiful Villa
We are a family of 5 with children aged 15, 13 and 11 who have just returned from Villa Cool. The villa is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is located in a very tranquil area just on the outskirts of Domus de Maria which has a lovely pizzeria and small local shops. The area is simply stunning and very tranquil perfect after a day spent on one of the many very beautiful beaches on the southern coastline. There are plenty of very good restaurants in the area but you definitely need a car. Pula is also a short drive away with a wonderful atmosphere at night and good shopping during the day. The beaches are all a short drive away with amazing crystal blue sea and soft sand, most have beach bars but the beaches can get quite busy in high season. If you are looking for a laidback relaxing holiday with a stunning pool then Villa Cool is perfect. The built in BBQ was fantastic and we spent a few nights eating in and playing cards around the pool. Manuele was a pleasure to deal with responding immediately to any questions we had. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Villa Cool. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your luxury villa it is very memorable.

The perfect house. The perfect holiday.
What a beautiful location; gorgeous beaches, friendly locals, delicious food and the perfect house with a sublime pool. The house is very well set up with everything you could possibly need and the owners have organised and explained the workings of the house so well that the holiday began the moment we arrived-there was none of the usual stress on arrival and the first few days trying to understand how things work. We were super impressed. We spent a spectacular two weeks at the Villacool and explored the beautiful beaches and local towns and ate exceptionally well. The house is so wonderful we found it hard to leave and wiled away hours and hours by the pool and read an unprecedented number of books between us. It was pure relaxation and recuperation and we can't wait to return. La bella vita! Grazie mille!

Beautiful property, well equipped, ideal for families and great location
VillaCool is a lovely villa well thought out and great for families. It has a lovely shaded area close to both the villa and pool which is great if you have very young children and want to keep them out of the sun and yet still be close to the pool and villa. The pool is a nice size with great views over the hills. We had a great holiday with amazing beaches only a short drive away. The village is also close enough to walk in and get you daily fresh bread. Would really recommend!

An amazing home in an amazing place!
My family and I just got back from staying at Villacool for eight days. And wow, we had a great time! First off, it is a very nice modern home. Everything worked when we got there, clean enough for my super-clean wife, a nice homey feel, great place. Next off, the pool was great. I had trouble getting my kids out of the pool. And myself. It was wonderful, swimming there in quiet Pula, surrounded by the mountains... I did agonize over whether I wanted a property on the beach versus Villacool, which looked great but is about a 10 minute drive from the nearest beach. I chose Villacool because the pictures of Villacool looked really nice. And I'm glad I did. Doma de Maria is so nice, in the mountains, really relaxing and pretty. Just calming. And there are several beautiful beaches within a short drive, so that's really not a big deal. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay in Sardinia, I can't recommend Villacool enough!
