I can’t recommend Barr na Straide Inn strongly enough! I’ve already texted friends back home who are planning their own trip to Dingle. It was scrupulously clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located very conveniently close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the center of town. Very quiet and relaxing—delightful breakfast.

Staff - Room cleaning staff noisy in halls around 8:30 / 9 am Room - very clean, modern washroom, no ability to make coffee/tea in room Parking - great space in back Booking Direct - should be done as booking via 3rd party site meant no breakfast included. Location - very good. very near everything but 1 street away from late night noise. very quiet at night.

Disappointing and overpriced
Very poor reception - not at all welcoming- he complained about agencies taking a cut and therefore breakfast not being included. Two flights of steep stairs were too much for us with our luggage so left cases in the boot of the car and packed overnight bag. Lots of trips to collect things we needed. Bathroom was good and bed fine but nowhere to sit in the room and a hard floor, so we were conscious of disturbing people under us with our shoes on- we had no slippers so feet were cold.

We wanted to be close to the downtown, walking. Right in the middle of all the stores and pubs. Easy walk to the marina for our sunset boat trip to the Blasken Islands. The pub on first floor was great fun for a nightcap at the end of the day. Rooms must have been recently renovated because they were lovely, clean, comfortable beds. The breakfast dining rooms were gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again. The owner was awesome and she had a chat with us at breakfast.
