First thing I smelled walking into the room was a pleasant smell of cleaning products. Rooms are in good condition with a microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was available w/ the standard hot breakfast bar and waffle iron. The tables at the breakfast area are dated and worn. This space lacks outlets to charge your laptop or phone. We did finally find one outlet against the outside wall. My granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Staff appeared professional, friendly and helpful during the day. The sign on the highway is dismal and I wasn’t sure which building/door to use. At midnight, that’s not great. Doors were locked, staff was on phone so I didn’t want to call her as it says to do. I lightly tried to tap the glass door and get her attention so she was aware of our arrival. She immediately responded with a curt, disgusted look and held her finger up. Totally unnecessary. She pointed us in one direction and said she thinks our room was that way. It wasn’t. We had to go back and go the other way. Then we called down to get the wifi password as the internet site directs. She tried to tell us she didn’t know it until I clearly stated the site directs you to inquire with resort services. She finally found it. This along w/her very unprofessional appearance (her shirt had numerous marks and stains on it) did not make for a good impression. All others we encountered were not like this. She did say it was only her 3rd day at this property but it’s politeness she lacks.
