« Overall just an okay stay. Our room was not ready upon arrival at 9pm and no one seemed to care very much. There is not much beach to relax on and everyone stays near the pools. The food was good but the service was non-existent at times. At the very end when putting money in the community tip box the employee monitoring it saw me and as I said thank you to him for the stay all he could say was "Ok, goodbye". Not even a thank you for being tipped! »

« The Aberdare Country Club is for the most part amazing, but with so much potential to be more than it is. The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights. »

« Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good. »

« This hotel has amazing potential and was probably once quite grand. The facilites are tired and in need of maintenance and updates. We were there out of season so it was very quiet and the staff seemed a little challenged in knowing what to do. The beach is great and the grounds are super. I would stay here again but I’d check my room and test the shower before settling on my room. »
