super hotel au centre de Delhi mais trés au calme. Le service est impeccable. plusieurs restos et j'ai pu beneficier du service horizon au 19eme etage avec vue, juste superbe (dommage la pollution de la ville). 1 nuit avant mon retour en europe et une trés bonne literie pour pouvoir me reposer je recommande.

such a bad experience
I stay in this hotel during an exhibition with 3 colleagues. cleaness of the hotel is acceptable, long waiting for lift at breakfast time, lots of noise outside due to mariage or other show, booking a table is a nightmare, and the worst is the bill that front desk poeple charge over 700€ on my credit card with the excuse of currency change, wich it was a big lie. at the end the refund 570€ 2 month later, and deny the remaining 130€. of course i received many mail of excuses but never the total refund. my staff use to stay in this hotel for couple of years, NEVER AGAIN !!

Sûrement pas un hôtel de vacances !!!
Plus un hôtel d’affaires qu’un hôtel étoilé!! Nous n’avons pas été satisfait avec le service voiturier, la piscine est tellement proche de la route que nous avions l’impression d’être en plein milieu du trafic. Arrivés en rickshaw, ils interdisent l’entrée si vous n’arrivez pas en taxi ! Pourtant nous avons séjourné dans des palaces pendant toutes nos vacances et nous n’avons eu aucun problème avec ça! Cet hôtel est plus intéressé par les apparences et les meetings organisés que par les clients vacanciers comme nous.

perfect for our honeymoon
we stayed at the Shangri-La in Ne-Delhi for our honeymoon and I can say that they made this experience a memorable one : everybody is smiling, polite and go beyond their ways to make you feel welcome and happy. They updgraded us to a corner room with a magnificnet view above the trees, they surprised us with a wonderful chocolate cake that we ate for 3 days straight because it was that good and they offer me a beautiful bouquet that I took back home with me :) The food is excellent, the hotel is spotless, the spa is wonderful and more than anything everybody working there are just very so nice and welcoming and I thank you all for that experiece;)

very nice stay
This hotel is very clean and well maintained despite its age. Well situated in Dehli, between two metro station and a lot of tuktuk nearby, we really enjoyed our stay. We used the concierge service for a daily trip to Taj Mahal and the driver was very professional. There was wifi in the car and it wa appreciated it. However it is overpriced compared to the real price that it is in India. Same problem at the bar. It is overpriced and price do not includ VAT and other taxes and services. It is not India price. Disappointed for that.

Nous avons séjourné en famille et occupé 3 chambres pendant plus d'une semaine dans cet hotel. J'étais un peu sceptique au début par rapport à 3 commentaires négatifs que j'avais lu sur l'hotel avant d'y séjourner: - Vétusté de la chambre: ce n'est pas vrai, en tout cas pour les 3 chambres que nous avons occupé au 9ème étage, aucun signe de vétusté - Décalage de standard par rapport aux Shangri-la dans d'autres pays : ayant eu l'occasion de séjourner dans un autre Shangri-la, je pense que chaque hotel s'adapte en termes de design et décors à l'esprit local, ça reste un très haut standing dans tous les cas, rien à dire. Par contre, nous avons été agréablement surpris par: - L'extrême qualité de service, c'est écris dans tous les commentaires et c'est vrai, le personnel (duty manager Kabi, les filles en tenue traditionnelles à l'accueil, tout le monde...) est absolument dévoué, attentif aux moindres détails, suggestions, vraiment un service très très bon. - Les repas: 3 restaurants au sein de l'hotel dont un buffet: très simplement, absolument gargantuesque, à moins de 5 jours de séjour vous ne pouvez pas faire le tour du buffet et du petit déjeuner bon et très varié. Bref, excellent séjour, personnel top qui nous a aidé dans toutes nos démarches.

Love SGL brand, horizon room was on the small side compared to similar brands and less 'extras' in room. Staff excellent. Had superb lobster with white truffle at Sorrento .... to die for! Fabulous chef. All round great stay, look forward to returning in 8 days time.As solo lady traveller never felt 'alone' was warmly welcomed everywhere.

A fuir. Une discothèque pas un hôtel ....
L hôtel n est pas du tout à la hauteur de la réputation de l enseigne. La climatisation de la chambre et des couloirs dégage une mauvaise odeur. Deux nuits passées à l hôtel = Deux nuits en discothèque ! Impossible de dormir et les personnes à l accueil refusent de baisser le son. L hôtel se transforme le week-end en boîte de nuit pour jeunesse dorée de Delhi avec soirée Moet et Chandon ce samedi ! Forcément loin de nos attentes de français en vacances en Inde ! Le personnel est hautin et méprisant vis à vis des clients. Le pire est le personnel de la securite qui est clairement agressif. Attention l hôtel surfacture les transferts. 40 minutes de voiture à 78 euros. C ‘est scandaleux. Au final, nous ne recommandons pas du tout cet hôtel. On est très loin de ce que l on peut attendre de l enseigne même le directeur que nous avons rencontré le reconnaît...

Nice hotel, mediocre service
The hotel is nice and the rooms are very confortable and clean, despite a lingering damp mustiness. The Chinese and Italian restaurants' food is extremely delicious! However, the service is not up to what is to be expected of a hotel of this standing. They initially lied to me about not having the kind of room I booked available (they later apologized with a bottle of wine, a nice gesture), the service in the Italian restaurant was terrible, the cleaning staff came to my room on my check-out day and insisted that I give him a good review until I had to ask him to leave, the "help" desk woman on the phone was extremely impolite and brash. They need to up their staff training!

Luxe et raffinement
Luxueux hôtel international. Le quartier est propre mais sans grand intérêt . Un peu quartier des ambassades. Le taxi n’est pas cher et le métro est en face donc pas de problème. La vue des chambres horizon est superbe et permet l’acces Au salon lounge du dernier étage avec collations et buffet toute la journée. Le restaurant , en revanche, est trop cher. Le spa est sans intérêt (pas essayé les massages). Très bel hôtel

The service was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were a lot of options. Our room was cleaned daily by Jatendra who was friendly and ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay, We had drinks and snacks at the horizon lounge and Anjali really provided outstanding service.

The food option for Indians were not great. If you want European breakfast and American breakfast it’s great. Tons of options. However, we leave the US for Delhi to have Indian food. The buffet is $20 plus tax per person. We hardly ate cause we wanted more veg Indian food. Staff was great! The hotel itself is great very pleasing to the eye.
