Me and my mom loved the fact that we were 10 to 15 mins away from our main events that we had going on. Not only that but the breakfast area was all ways clean and I absolutely loved the couches.

Overall, the stay was good. I can’t complain about one night. The room seemed clean and everything was in working order. The staff could have been a little friendlier, but nothing to go crazy over.

In the room itself, the pulldown privacy shade did not go all the way down leaving our window gap open a good 6 inches or so - not only is there a privacy issue, but in the morning the sun was beaming through. Both the solid shade & sheer layered shade was locked in place, seemingly designed/engineered as such so it could not be raised or lowered to see outside at all beyond the gap near the bottom.

My reservation specifically asked for a mobility access room because one of us is a bilateral amputee confined to a wheelchair. When we arrived at 6pm there were no accessible rooms available and they wanted to put us in a fifth floor room. It was New Year’s Eve and their solution was to check around with their sister properties to see what was available. We stayed in a “regular” room at the Allen property because it made no sense to go wandering around Dallas on New Year’s Eve trying to find a motel that could accommodate us. I made this reservation in early November. There is no excuse for giving away our room.

The window shade did not work. I asked for it to be fixed, they said they would send someone up but did not. We were never offered to have the room serviced; it was not for the two days. Overall a reasonable place to stay but seemed a bit worn.

They were under construction, had to shut the water off for 4 hours during my stay. Hallways need vacuum, Funny smell in the room.
