Grandkids had a great time during our short stay in Cuba (was there for a wedding). « It's a nice little cabin with a gorgeous view! We had a great outdoor experience with many comforts of home. We were able to cook all our meals and eat at the cabin and a great picture window view of the river with tons of birds, turtles, geese and more. The bed was comfortable and overall clean and smelled good. It was nicely decorated and the fireplace was really very interesting. Will return and definitely recommend. »

« The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible! »

« This cabin is a wonderful mix of rustic and luxury! Every detail has been considered. Out in the woods but not too far from town. Rustic but comfy beds and special touches. The bathrooms are each unique and charming! The kitchen is fantastic! There are also great outdoor spaces that we didn’t quite have time to enjoy on our short stay. I’d definitely return to this sweet little cabin in the woods! It was perfect for our family of 6, but it would also be wonderful for a couples getaway! »

« The property was great. Access to a nice sized little lake with a canoe, two kayaks, fire pit, and great hiking trails on property. It rained a lot when we were down there which had an effect on the well water so make sure to bring pretty of bottled water to drink just in case. »

« The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away. »

« This property was clean and the lake was so nice. If you are looking for a little getaway that is simple in design, this fits the bill. If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. « The cabin and the grounds were perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Hands-down, definitely the best stay we've had so far. The cabin, interesting with it's history, has been beautifully and functionally updated. Cooked dinner and two breakfasts on the outdoor Blackstone griddle (nice touch!).
