We arrived at the island around 1am to find out that our condo was fenced off and undergoing renovations. It was a holiday weekend and i just knew there were no hotels available. I called Ocean edge and a lady answered the phone with a very sweet voice. She let me know that they do have availability for that night through Monday, which are the dates we were staying. from the first phone call, to our check out, the staff at Ocean edge went above and beyond, everyone that wears a shirt there wears it proudly and are so helpful. I really appreciate the exceptional hospitality.

This hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great and the best part is it is so close to the beach. It was a very short car ride away. We definitely will continue staying here when visiting Port Aransas.

This property is a revamped Red Roof Inn boutique inspired. It was clean, provided a breakfast, and the customer services were very friendly. It worked out a for a quick unplanned weekend trip to the beach. The newer remodeling touches removed the old mildew carpet with wood look tile and provided a pet friendly stay. We did not use the pool, but the area looked nice.

The property was great. The staff members during the day were excellent. The lady during the night shift last night had a poor attitude. We almost didn’t wanna stay there the night. The staff members this morning made it much more pleasant!

This is my second year coming to this hotel and it won’t be the last! The staff is so friendly and very helpful, plus they are there 24/7!! The rooms are very clean and are big enough to hold all of our beach gear plus luggage. The breakfast is awesome and has tons of options for the pickiest of eaters. The pool is really clean and has a few enclosed cabanas inside the pool area that are super comfy. They also have two cabanas outside the pool area with several seating choices with and without tables, a propane grill and a charcoal grill. Now let’s talk about one of the best perks this hotel has to offer that isn’t advertised…happy hour in the lounge from 5pm-7pm where each guest is allowed two drinks and appetizers for free!! Yes, you read that right the hotel gives you FREE alcoholic beverages (with valid ID) and snacks. Overall this place deserves more stars than I can give them and highly recommend you stay here!

Nice location and convenient to beach access, only thing I wish it had is an elevator for up stair rooms since it is a pain to take your luggage up a stairway.

From the street, Ocean’s Edge doesn’t seem like anything special. A seemingly basic hotel. My family’s experience here was great. Right away we were greeted by friendly and happy faces. We were given a small bag with two waters and a bag of microwaveable popcorn at check-in. I have stayed in many hotels, many of which charged WAY more than Ocean’s Edge, and provided with nothing at check-in other than a room key. This small gesture resonated very strongly with me, indicating the high level of care they have for their guests. The price was affordable, the staff was friendly, and my family enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The pool was clean and had nice semi-private seating areas. My family was very pleased with our stay. There are many options for lodging in Port A; Don’t overlook Ocean’s Edge, it’s a hidden gem.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Ocean’s Edge Hotel for our honeymoon! The room was spacious and the bed was super cozy.. we stayed in bed watching Netflix for a lot of our honeymoon which was so relaxing (we definitely needed the rest) and our room was perfect for it! Ordering from DoorDash/Uber was a breeze and having breakfast included was amazing! The breakfast was so great and included lots of options! The staff was super nice and accommodating as well! Totally recommend Ocean’s Edge Hotel for your stay at Port Aransas!

Ocean's edge was nice for our weekend stay. Its very close to th beach. I really like that it has an outdoor shower so you can rinse the sand off before getting in the pool. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The property is in good shape. After checking in online. And calling and checking in at the office. The manager charged an additional fifty dollar's pet fee. This was never disclosed. Be careful not to get gouged. The internet price was not the full price they charged. Buyer beware.
