At request I send my ETA: arrive by train in Cork at 13.41. We arrived at the accommodation shortly before 14.00. No reaction at doorbell nor on e-mail. Next attempt 14.15 - no reaction. Tried telephon: answer! Some minutes later the frontdoor was opened. Friendly reception by young woman. Got the immediate message that "they has stopped with breakfasts, a bakery was opposite the street I feel misled, booked a B&B, got just a single B..

Your reservation clearly stated room onlyWe are Located in the most Central Part of Cork City , so the options for cafes , Restaurants , etc are everywhereso your rating is really nor relevant Guests like to explore Cork citys many culinary places and especially The Famous OLD english Market which is only a 4 min walk ans great For Breakfast delights

ON POSITIVE SIDE, room SATISFACTORY in GOOD LOCATION , CENTRAL TO SHOPS REATAURANTS, PUBS.--- ON NEGATIVE SIDE , Arrived 2:30 pm (following 6 hour flight & 3 hour train ) I rang bell, knocked on door for about 30 minutes. Apparently, no one at property. Finallly , went to visitor center and they were able to contact owner. Obviously some miscommunication about check in procedures. In any case, not used to arriving at lodging and not being able to have access to room. I had made decision to stay additional day in Cork, but next morning , again no one available to speak with, so checked into another hotel . I think that under the circumstance, I would stick to standard Hotel/Motel lodging.

Right downtown and near pubs, restaurants, shopping centre, and the major pedestrian shopping streets. The stairs up can be as much as 5 flights, old and narrow. City noise is prominent but you are choosing this place for the location right downtown. Staff was very friendly. No onsite breakfast but it’s because you have so many restaurants nearby. Parking is another challenge as it’s street parking and can be full until later at night. We parked at the parkade 1/2 way down the block and moved our rental car to the street parking just before the parkade closed for the night.

Would not recommend. Read all recent reviews thoroughly before you book. This is not a bed and breakfast. Spend the extra 50 euros and stay anywhere else. It's loud. WiFi stopped working at 11pm and never restarted. Tiny bathroom. Cigarette burns in the carpet. Stains on the bed sheets.

This is listed as a bed and breakfast . This is misleading as no breakfast is provided or available. There is no kettle in the room to make yourself a coffee and no common area where you can make one. i had no contact with staff as the girl who let me in left straight after. I did ask at the pub down stairs next morning where the breakfast room was. The Barman said that they had no connection with the upstairs and where a separate business. A fairer description would be " Room for Short term let"

CorrectBreakfast is available on the many restaurants ans cafés on our street.Oliver Plunkett Street is tha most central for Dining on Cork City CentrYour Reservation was clearly marked Room only.A review like you poster is Totally unacceptable. Creedons Welcome Traditional Accommodation is where you booked

There was no correspondence from the Owner asking our ETA. We had to call them through their website to obtain instructions- no one on site as per instructions Room & bathroom were both clean & tidy A kettle & cups would have been a nice touch

The room was quite dirty, most notably not vacuumed with bread crumbs lying on the floor. Apart from that, the carpeting generally made a dirty and damaged impression. Personal was contacted via WhatsApp/Phone only which - however - worked quite well. But no staff was met in person and the room key was deposited in a qeculiar place. The bed was good and the room - at least on the top floor - was comparatively quiet despite the loud music in the basement pub.

The rooms are small and there is no lift. Rooms do not have kettle for tea or coffee. The land lady was very nice but does not live on site so there was difficulty getting the key. If you have a lot of luggage, do not stay here. The stairs are no joke.

This is a very Traditional accommodation located in the Heart of Cork city , in the very best area.Lifts were not invented 100 years ago so if you can't walk up 2 flights of stairs , don't come , we are located over Corks Famous Welcome Inn Traditional Pub and on the best street for restaurants shopping and music pubs
