We have stayed at Benny's several times previously, however it has been a few years since we were there. This time we were surprised to see how run down the room we were assigned was compared to other years. The sinks, shower, and toilet were not up to previous standards. The room was noticeably dirty, and for the first time the lack of cleanliness was a factor. The carpet appeared grungy, and the bed linen just didn't smell fresh. Benny's is very convenient, and the staff have been friendly. I hope the motel is able to hire more staff in the future so they can regain their previous standards of cleanliness and repair.

Joe, we are sorry you did not have a great stay! Our cleanliness has always been a top priority! I appears maybe we fell short of our standards. We will follow up with our staff on who would have cleaned the room and potentially continued training. We hope you can give us a chance again.

Very clean.
I don't what eco-friendliness is but we had a good experience. The check-in with, I believe her name was Stephanie, was very good. She was very friendly and kind. The room was spic and span. The fixtures are older and stained but everything was clean. The heater didn't work in the first room they gave us so they moved us to another. My only complaint would be that we were expecting a memory foam bed. I seem to remember reading about that somewhere and that was why we chose Benny's. It was a very firm coil bed and we both woke up with backaches.

Thank you for noticing and commenting. As for your memory foam beds concern, we utilize a coil mattress with a 3" woven top memory foam mattress. They are not full memory foam thickness. Bad Coffee!? I wish you would have said something to us! We never have bad coffee. Could have been a bad bean (yes its happened) because we grind our coffee fresh every brew, and we buy a premium blend of coffee. I am sorry your review had to consist of a bad coffee experience.

The hotel is starting to show it’s age. We had a pet room that had tripping sink and other sink was stained from coffee. I have had better rooms in the past, even with the dogs. I would still stay there again due to the staff and location

When you mention limited amenities...we are not sure what you consider limited...each room has hairdryer, iron/ironing board, fridge/micro, large TV, Heat/AC, coffee and coffee pot. The pool is a large 60' by 25' indoor pool with large spa, lots of deck space for seating, and large locker rooms.

A fairly ordinary motel, it is a bit dated but was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little weak compared to to other hotels.

I was told there would be breakfast. In my experience this typically means hot food. However, the only hot food was oat meal with hot water added. The rest was cold cereal and English muffins. There was no protein offered.

We strive to be very competitive in our pricing for room stays, and in many ways we are limited to what we can produce for a breakfast giving our kitchen limitations. Other than the breakfast we hope you enjoyed your stay with friendly staff, and clean rooms.

This is a great place to stay. We were very comfortable. Some of the fixtures are a little worn or stained, but it was clean and we got a great night sleep.

The staff and the manager were exceptional during my visit. I had a friend who had a medical emergency while there and I was assisted by the staff who were very professional.
