Les + : Free pop corn and cookies and good continental breakfast.
Les - : If hot tub is broken, discount should be given and they should try to repair faster. New beds definitely needed.
Situation : There were quite a few restaurants near by.
I felt the cost for the room was wayyyyy to much! This hotel was at most an $80/ night stay not a $145. When we arrived we were told the hot tub was out of commission which was very disappointing. We went in the pool as this is one of the reasons we stayed at this hotel and the water was freezing! We rented a King suite with our son and he slept on the pull out couch. The mattress on the bed and the pull out couch were both terrible. Pull out couch was very springy and the king bed was extremely hard and low quality. We definitely left feeling overcharged and disappointed.

Good hotel close to our children and grandchildren

Publié le 29 déc. 2013
Les + : Room. Access to rooms.
Les - : It would be nice to charge purchases to the room.
Situation : Good access to Canmore/Banfff/ and Calgary.
Very good front desk staff. Very helpful. Gave us an extra hour to check out so that our grandchildren could use the pool. Breakfasts were very good, especially the prepared small egg dishes. It would be nice if the waffles could be made during the week as well as the weekend.

Go somewhere else for breakfast

Publié le 28 déc. 2013
Overall, the hotel needs some help. The room thermostat was set at 25C when we arrived, and after we reset it cooler the first night, it was set back to 25C. The hot tub was under repair and the pool was freezing. The breakfast was really disappointing. The hot food was not. It was dry and luke warm at best. The waffle iron was put away for the week days, which really left you with limited choices. Apparently people who stay there during the week, aren't good enough to make their own waffles. The second morning, they were out of all hot food, and I had to ask the front desk staff to refill, which required microwaving sausages and omelettes. She also realized they were out of coffee!! Considering the price charged, and the reputation of Ramada, it was very disappointing how this hotel is run. I understand we were there during Christmas, and they are running a skeleton staff, but it's not like they charge a skeleton fee to stay there during Christmas!
